Positive experience: Very good experience with ocean lettings I would give them a 5 star but they work with lettings hub which is so bad . One of the worst places I have seen . Please change this provider . They are super slow and do not care and even sent wrong details to my HR in office . It was super embarrassing. They are also very inefficient we need to keep calling them to ask if they have done their work . They are very unprofessional too .

Negative experience: Flat was very dirty when I moved in. Serious damp issues arose due to penetrating damp from the exterior. I got an Environmental Officer from Bristol Council to come in; they declared it to be a significant health hazard. I asked Ocean if I could move out early. Ocean offered no help, no support, were incredibly rude and condescending, attempted to tell me it was my fault, gave feeble excuses, and never apologised for any of it. The formal complaints process was a joke, being passed from one incompetent clown to the next. I work professionally on the conservation of historic buildings. At every point I knew what I was talking about. It takes a special kind of ineptitude to be part of Ocean.

Fantastic experience: We used Oceans Letting service to find a tenant for our Bristol flat. I usually undertake this task myself, but decided to see what they could offer and if it would be worth it. Amelia (West) talked us through the process and explained the different levels of service offered. She then came to the flat to look round and discuss rental price etc. As soon as the flat was ready, Amelia advertised it but also contacted people 'on her books' . After one viewing we had people interested and signed contracts around 2 weeks of it being advertised. We had the security of knowing that Ocean has completed all checks relevant to the property and the tenant and the whole process was really smooth. We were so impressed that we are about to use Amelia and Ocean to find tenants for our other property... and it's definitely worth it.

Fantastic experience: I had 3 estate agencies lined up and chose Ocean because of Matt who was very honest about a realistic pricing of my flat rather than just quoting a high price to get my business. 4 offers and 1 buyer found in a week. Marco was good at updating me for the viewings. A special mention to James Hogg who was invaluable to the closing of the whole thing. Being based abroad, he was always quick to handle everything between the solicitors and keeping clear communication throughout. I did like that he preferred to call me directly most times rather than email. I felt that was much more efficient for me. James was super helpful in checking my flat after removals and making sure the keys were where they should have been for the removals and plumbers. I really appreciated his professional help.

Fantastic experience: Great experience with Ocean with selling our flat in central Bristol. Nicola, our move manager, was just amazing and made the whole process less stressful. She was so efficient, courteous and diligent. She was just the right balance of professional, friendly and empathetic when things got a bit more complicated - she was truly fab! Andrew and Ollie were also involved and were equally responsive. We are very happy with our experience and would gladly use them again.

Fantastic experience: Like most, we regularly have the best intentions to do reviews and then don’t get around to doing them! However we made sure not to forget this one as the service was fantastic from start to finish. We really enjoyed our viewings with Jess Bulgin (who we believe is now with the Downend branch of Ocean) as she was so friendly, knowledgeable and genuine. Her communication was exceptional and always delivered in a refreshing non pushy, natural way. The remainder of our experience with Ocean was equally as pleasant, we were looked after by Move Manager Nicola Lloyd. Moving house can be such a stressful time often filled with intimidating legal jargon and uncertainty. Therefore it was so refreshing and reassuring to have personable warm conversations with Nicola. The icing on the cake was realising on the day of completion that we had actually gone to school together 20+ years ago, but hadn’t realised due to our different surnames! Another really lovely touch and a contrast to the estate agents we sold our property with, was to receive a Boxlocal gift upon key collection. Whilst we currently never want to move again (!) we would throughly recommend Ocean Clifton to anyone who is looking to or buying a property with them. Thank you!
