Fantastic experience: Jamie was very helpful in answering all questions about letting through Ocean in an efficient, friendly and timely manor. Once my property was advertised suitable tenants were found in just over a week.

Negative experience: We remortgaged with Ocean Mortgage Services: Unbeknown to us our mortgage advisor extended the term of our mortgage without our consent. We’ve also ended up borrowing more than our settlement amount from the previous lender due to not obtaining latest redemption figure. We’ve received two monthly mortgage payments back from the previous lender because of the mistake on the deal obtained by Ocean. We are now faced with paying refunded money from previous lender to the current one to try and rectify the situation and also rectify mortgage term which will take us past our retirement date.

Fantastic experience: As we were new to being a landlord Jamie put us at ease and found us tenants in less than a day after listing the property. The range service they offer is great. Hopefully the start of a long partnership.

Fantastic experience: Jenny Green and Tom Windaybank from the sales team at Ocean have been absolutely amazing throughout our house purchase. They’ve both been really proactive at talking to everyone involved in the chain - the sellers, the solicitors, and us as the buyers - to keep things moving along. This proved to be incredibly helpful for us, as we did have some communication issues with the solicitors. Jenny and Tom consistently went above and beyond to keep us in the loop and help us to chase things up. Being able to rely on them made the process so much easier to deal with. Without Jenny and Tom, I genuinely think we wouldn’t have exchanged and completed until next year! We can’t thank them enough and we’ll definitely be looking to Ocean again the next time we want to move.
