Negative experience: They tried to dupe me into thinking I was going to pay percentage deal on my finally house sale price when infact the one and only offer was a commission based deal! I was completely hoodwinked by these cowboys Have a look a their terrible reviews on Trust pilot also watch documentaries about these charlatans. I sold the house and withheld giving the monies to these crooks!

Negative experience: Happened to be coming past your office in Buckingham today when one of your staff who couldn’t wait the 3 seconds for my mobility scooter to pass her car before she pulled out of the CAB car park decided to start revving the engine and then again at my son who was behind me. Certainly not giving a good impression of your business . Rude and ignorant

Fantastic experience: We recently purchased a property through the Buckingham Office of Connells and I would like to congratulate the whole team at this office for their efficiency, professionalism and friendliness, especially Alex Gilder. Right from the initial viewing, Alex was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He seemed genuinely interested in our requirements and kept us updated of each step of the buying process, liaising with us, our vendors and solicitors. Alex is a huge asset to Connells and my wife & I would like to say a big "thank you" to him for all his help.

Fantastic experience: I chose Connells to market my house as from an initial visit to the office to book a valuation when I first met Alex, to Andrew coming and valuing the house - and being the only agent of the 3 in total I had round to follow up - the service has been fabulous. I had viewings from day 1, and sold the house initially within 3 weeks, but those buyers withdrew quite quickly (not Connells fault) - they then pulled out all the stops to get more viewings, all the time keeping me up to date with what was happening, who was viewing, feedback etc. - and resulting a proceedable sale. I cannot recommend the team highly enough - thank you so much Jason, Alex, Laurence, Andrew and Karen for getting me there in the end after many literal tears over the conveyancing process being complex and time consuming - again, not their fault, it was pain at the bottom of the chain! Their chasing, keeping me updated - and putting up with my regular visits to the office to check in; because also they were always lovely to just chat to (and Alex always made a good cuppa, eventually!) was much appreciated, and I don’t think I’d have survived the pain of the legal process without their help, advice and patience! I didn’t buy locally as I was relocating, so they didn’t help me with my onward purchase, but I am now very happily settled in my new home, and have promised to pop in when I’m back in Buckingham, as I have family locally - so Alex, make sure that kettle is ready! Fantastic experience: I am a first time buyer who just completed on a fantastic house in Bucks. Negative experience: Disappointing lack of communication throughout the sale of our property. Poor organisation of viewings and sales progression was seriously lacking. We had to rely heavily on the sales agent of site we purchased through to establish the basic details of our chain.

Fantastic experience: Connells in Buckingham MK18 are truly exceptional. When we started we were thinking to let the property for one year, but now it is in the eighth year. Jane, the letting negotiator is fantastic with full knowledge of the letting. After seven years we have new tenants. Jane completed everything smoothly with our minimum involvement. Sarah is wonderfully looking after the property for any maintenance work. She always calls dedicated contractors who are very efficient and reliable. We have never experienced any issue. They are very helpful. We couldn't be more happy than the service we received from Connells and we will definitely recommend them to all who are thinking to let their property. Negative experience: In the lettings department Jane Riddiford wasn't too patient with the property I was inquiring for. She was rushing us to make a deal and when requesting a written agreement she refused since she wanted it to be verbal instead. When asking for other properties they have in the area she didn't respond and did not try helping us find other places that were available. Overall bad experience for me despite constantly seeing good reviews for her.

Negative experience: Kept calling my tenants re: renewal of tenancy agreement after I told them not to. They ignore GDPR and pretend if you wanted your details deleting you have to contact each department (sales, mortgages, rentals) separately to get your info removed. Stop bothering people who are wise to your scam. They want £250 for renewal of a tenancy agreement and dammit they will blow your tenants phone up until you pay. Get lost, scammer company.

Fantastic experience: We have had a brilliant service from Connells Buckingham and in particular Jason, Max and Alex. Our cottage was well marketed and sold within 5 days. All the team have been friendly, knowledgeable and excellent at keeping in touch. They are not the cheapest but they are definitely the best in the area! We wouldn't hesitate in using them again or recommending them to others.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Connells are brilliant very helpful and efficient .

Negative experience: Don't bother renting with these folks. Even the simplest repairs take months to get done. You're having to chase up their allusive contractors only to be told they'd forgotten. You'll see pigs fly before you see any job being completed. As always renters become a second thought once you've coughed up more than 50% of your monthly wages to pay for the rent.

Positive experience: Disappointed with the lack of communication once I had viewed a property, seem to rely on me to contact them to express my interest rather than them asking for my feed back, not sure I would feel comfortable in selling my property.

Fantastic experience: Whilst I rarely write reviews, I would like to say that the Lettings team have been extremely helpful throughout the process of securing new tenants for a rental property. This was particularly challenging in that we were trying to manage 'remotely' and through no fault of theirs, the process presented random challenges. The team, particularly David, went above and beyond to ensure deadlines were met.

Negative experience: Terrible estate agent. I tried repeatedly to arrange a viewing of a house in Brackley and was messed around and fobbed off. As a cash buyer, I have zero idea what their issue with me was. I found this estate agent very unprofessional, discriminatory and rude. I feel sorry for the seller as weeks later the property is still on the market! (Also stop removing legitimate reviews! I can prove every aspect of my complaint). Terrible estate agent. Rude and unethical behaviour.

Negative experience: Avoid the Lettings team, Sales is great, though. We've bought our first home through Connells and it was a smooth operation. It was just logical to use the same agency for letting as well. Couldn't be more wrong about it. They put up the ad with misleading information to start with, constant delay in communication or no communication at all, which being an overseas landlord gave us hard time. Poor management and very quick turnover in staff members, resulting in lack of professionalism and a very poor information flow between the different departments (accounts, property management, local branch). I would definitely not recommend the Lettings department.

Negative experience: Absolute nightmare for tenants..... Tenancy ended on 01.12.20, they kept promising my deposit but still no show. Always one excuse or other. 3 weeks and no shoe and finally logged with TDS to get your money back. Absolutely joke this branch is, never ever deal with them
