Most estate agents rush you, pester you to get things done quickly and sometimes don’t even bother with you but both these ladies have been great in communication, viewings and all round help in our house hunting. Fantastic experience: Having lived in rented property for years I've experienced many different estate agents. The experience I've received with Your Move, Lincoln, has been exceptionally good. All the staff treat you almost as a friend, they are so friendly and approachable. There is no jargon laden conversations, every interaction I have had with the staff at this branch has been down to earth and helpful. The house inspections are carried out by a lovely lady, Karen, who is respectful of your time and your living space but she also makes the time to enquire about you as a person rather than treat you as just another tenant. As a renter it makes all the difference to deal with people who treat you as a human being and not just someone to collect the rent from.

Fantastic experience: During a recent change of tenants I have swapped correspondence with Ella and Leah, both have been amazing. Liaising with all parties and arranging check out, check in and the expected minor maintenance requests to ensure comfort and ease for landlord, departing and incoming tenant.

Negative experience: Your Move Estate agents are really helpful and couldn't be more professional, its a shame the same can't be said for the lettings department both in Lincoln and Manchester. Error after error, incorrect advice and don't take ownership or accountability for their failings, don't respond to emails either, I could go on but they really aren't worth my time, avoid and find a more professional company who know what they are doing and talking about.

Positive experience: I appreciated the initiative of Your Move to advertise the property in new and creative ways, based on a more realistic starting price than previously other agents suggested. That secured a sale after a few weeks. Then Kelly in the office proved to be the best communicator of several agents that I have used over the years - keeping in touch as the sale process proceeded. I'm not convinced using an agents' own suggested solicitors necessarily adds value to a sales transaction. Otherwise overall happy with the final outcome.

Negative experience: Worst estate agents ever! Have had nothing but radio silence from them. Very few viewings bd what viewings have occurred there has been no feedback. Promised a for sale sign and 3 months later still waiting. Having to deal with multiple agents for the one house, not responding to emails, poor customer service and not proactively trying to sell the house.

Fantastic experience: Even though we were the purchasers and not their client, Kelly at Your Move in Lincoln could not have been more helpful. Always willing to liaise between us, the vendors and respective solicitors to help smooth the process. Kelly was always on hand to answer questions and her very friendly and professional manner is a great asset. A special mention too for Ryan for the initial property viewing, Beryl for several viewings and Ella for providing contact details of local tradespeople in the area.

Fantastic experience: After a recent terrible experience of being a tenant with Mundys, with them trying to scam me out of my deposit, I'm inclined to retrospectively rate Your Move highly, and give them praise for their staff and processes. I rented for 3 years with your move, and never had any issues. Both in initial rent, during the tenancy and with check out. Maintenance was promptly sorted and care was taken to ensure proper and fair check in/out. My full deposit was returned promptly, with no questions asked. Despite all of the staff being extremely friendly throughout, Karen was especially fantastic during my tenancy. I appreciated the regular inspections, which not only ensured the property was in good condition, but was also a general welfare check. These were fantastic and helped to avoid any lingering issues or issues on check out. I feel that Your Move treat tenants with respect. I would encourage anyone to rent or sell with them, especially when compared to other agents.

Negative experience: Having marketed a home with your move Lincoln, I’d have to say they have been quite ineffective. With minimal viewings held and of those viewings on two occasions I needed to ask the agents to return to re set the burglar alarm. On the last occasion the agent actually managed to leave an unattended house unlocked. It was only thanks to the neighbour that this was discovered. Of the very few viewings I reviewed cctv footage and to say that there was a lack of enthusiasm of at least one agent was staggering. It’s sad to see such failure on their part particularly as the original sales pitch promised so much but the delivery was really poor.

Negative experience: All nicey nice when they come to value your home but as soon as they have the sale I've never brought and sold before so this was all new to me and my husband it took about 7 months before completion date and this company especially Kelly has been nothing but rude threatening patronising and made the whole process much more stressful than it needed to be avoid avoid however Martin and co the other estate agents in the chain were nothing but professionals with great people skills who made me feel like a human being and not just a sale

Fantastic experience: I would just like to thank Kelly at Your Move Lincoln for being a true superstar, we had a lengthy sale and several issues along the way but Kelly was outstanding from start to finish, superb customer service and always did what she said she was going to do, I cannot rate her highly enough and really appreciate all her hard work and effort!

Positive experience: We had our property valued by Ryan on the same day we viewed another property which was already on the market with Your Move, and we loved it so much we were specifically intending to go on the market with the intention of selling ours quickly so that we could secure the house we viewed!! It was touch and go whether we would get there, as there were multiple offers on the property we wanted and we were still trying to secure a sale on our property, but because Your Move had both our property to sell and the one we wanted to secure to buy, Ryan was amazing at working with all parties to secure both our sale & purchase and we couldn’t be happier that it all worked out well!! We had additional personal stress and a bit of a delay in the chain also which at times made us wonder if it was the right time to see this move through, but I also knew how much we wanted the house we were buying!! So, a special thanks to Kelly for all the chain chasing to get the rest of the chain into a position so we could all finally get moved and completed!!! The one criticism i have is the fact that Your Move have an online portal with a transaction tracker, but this was rarely updated which meant we were calling for update when I could have left you all alone a bit more if i could’ve seen the progress on the tracker.

Negative experience: My experience with Your Move has been extremely disappointing, especially as a student in my final year, where the added stress from these issues has been overwhelming. Communication from Your Move has been almost nonexistent, and they’ve shown a clear lack of responsibility in addressing the many issues we’ve faced. When we moved in, the property was in an unacceptable state: hair from previous tenants was left on the bed and in the bathroom, stains on the floor, a grease-covered kitchen, and even mold under the bed. Every piece of furniture had some kind of defect, and essential appliances like the washing machine, radiators, microwave, and lights didn’t work. Despite their claims that everything had been checked beforehand, it was evident this was untrue, and now, a month and a half later, these issues remain unresolved. We had no choice but to hire professional cleaners ourselves and sent the bill to Your Move, who showed no willingness to make things right. As students managing tight schedules, dealing with these ongoing problems has been frustrating and incredibly stressful. Given the time and money we’ve spent just to make the property livable, I will be pursuing compensation for our incurred costs. If you’re looking for a reliable, tenant-supportive agency, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Negative experience: After letting through Your Move for nearly a decade the service over the past year has been appalling. Have had to chase when payments are everdue, maintenance and credit control departments are handled by offsite call centres, and communication is awful.

Negative experience: Don't care about tenants at all, just your money. Whether that's having issues with the property and being ignored, or your sense of well being coming second to the landlords needs and wants. You are a paycheck to Your Move, nothing more.

Positive experience: I have found my new flat in Lincoln through right move. The agency is good, but there are some issues as every other agency does. They were attending my calls and providing information (some times they used to provide the same info which is annoying). Overall I can say it is a decent agency and will support you but you need to have lot of patience when it comes to agreements and all.

Negative experience: I would not use YourMove for renting your property. They do not provide a satisfactory professional service. I struggle to believe all the reviews?? They don't support you properly when there is an issue at the property they are being paid for, Bradley does not reply to emails, telephone requests and they definitely don't provide any level of support for when your tenant exits. Tenant left in June and the house sale already completed and still no sign of a return of our £200 and no resolve for the tenants and the outstanding work to be paid for??? Very poor and just impacts on the loss of our Mother. Very disrespectful and lacking any empathy as a business to its client that pays them for a Service??

Negative experience: Very bad agency i have been chasing them to fix the wardrobe door which was broken since i moved to the apartment. They said dont report it again as they will fix it and nothing happened for 2 months now. I REALLY DONT RECOMMEND THEM !

Negative experience: Worst real estate company I've ever seen. I wrote to them 2 times on rightmove to rent a house and they never answered, so I called their office and someone told me “my colleagues in the rental department are at lunch right now, they will call you when they get back” and they never called back. I tried to contact them many times for 2 weeks for the same house and in the end I could not reach them even once.

Negative experience: Absolutely useless, no one answers the phone, let me down several times only hours before we were meant to move. Shocking service and all staff have a major attitude problem!! Avoid at all costs!

Complete waste of time. Agent only interested in getting my details. Could not give me any information on property I was interested in.
