Fantastic experience: It was a great renting an apartment with them. They were quite thoughtful and supportive of my preferences and budget.

Negative experience: they are straight forward cash cows and pinnacle of procrastination firstly trap you with enticing offer but shows begin once you move in. D class properties, malfunctioned electronics and the worst response time is deliberately delayed. In addition, just after couple of months I received rental increment, entirely absurd, illicit. I won't recommend it because of some of numerous reasons enlisted but the mental peace.

Negative experience: I have had a very negative experience with this company and its director, Mr Sath Vaddaram, in Lincoln. The lease agreement for my property ended in August 2024, but despite repeated requests, the property has not been returned to me. Instead, the company continues to use it as an HMO without my consent. This has caused me significant distress and financial loss. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to either landlords or tenants. Please exercise extreme caution before engaging with them.

Negative experience: The problem with this agency isn't as such the service you receive on looking to rent, its the upkeep of the properties due to the people living there. In one viewing, someone had taped a shard of a broken mirror to the bathroom window, surely that's really unsafe?? I rented a room in Parkview, the wifi was ATROCIOUS. The signal never really reached my room, and when it did it was unbelievably slow, not fit for purpose in that regard and I'm glad to say I'll never have to deal with their properties again.

Negative experience: I had an extremely disappointing experience with this agency. After completing all requirements, signing the tenancy agreement, and providing guarantor details on time, my application was suddenly cancelled without proper explanation. Communication was poor and unprofessional—emails were ignored, responses were delayed, and some staff were rude and misleading. The agency unfairly withheld my deposit (£140) and mishandled my wife’s legal right to review the lengthy contract before signing. Overall, their conduct was careless, disrespectful, and financially damaging. I am now forced to escalate the matter to recover my depos

Negative experience: Avoid this letting agency at all costs. I had the most unprofessional experience. The agent promised and set up multiple different viewings with me and then suddenly cancelled them all last minute without giving me a valid reason for it. Additionally they didn't offer me any reimbursement despite it costing me over £200 to arrange travel and a place to sleep, as I was planning to move from the south west. Extremely unprofessional and likely discriminates against those claiming benefits. Potentially also discriminates against those with disabilities, as I have a diagnosis of autism.

Negative experience: DO NOT USE! Awful customer support and service. Left house with a broken boiler for 1.5 months during winter, no cleaning to the shared facilities, ignored damage and derelict conditions and refused help to mould problems.

Negative experience: Can’t control their tenants in large multiple occupancy building!!! Keeping locals awake until 3am with music. Fence broke to one of their properties over a month ago and still haven’t bothered to fix it… it’s an eyesore and it’s dangerous!!!!

Negative experience: My experience with properties in the market wasn't a good one. I would get calls late at night 22.00 even 23.00 hours on a regular basis thinking I was another tennant, other people in the shared accommodation also experienced this. The house was falling to bits, they promised work would be done but it never happend. I also woke it to a member off staff from the letting agency in room next to my bed. When I called to complain the matter has been laughed off which I'm still trying to resolve now.

Negative experience: Am currently living in there apartments, this is the worst housing agency you can rent from. The don’t care or give a damn about your standard of living or how uncomfortable you are , they are only interested in their rent . I am rating them 0/100

Negative experience: Terrible experience, I moved out on June 13th, and my contract ended on June 16th. Despite numerous calls and emails over the past 20 days, I still haven’t received my security deposit. They promised to return it by July 1st, but it’s now July 3rd with no response. Very unprofessional.

Negative experience: Telling my friend the mould issue will be fixed before she moves in, have her sign the tenancy and once she gets there nothing has been done. Her shower door is broken, mould all over the place and in the house, health and safety concerns with a light being where water damage has been. Catastrophic for tenants health. Should not be allowed to rent out rooms or houses. I provide photos, which will also be handed to environmental health and will be forwarded to the council as this can not be allowed. PLEASE DO NOT RENT ROOMS/ HOUSES or ANYTHING from them.

Negative experience: I had a very disappointing experience with this agency, the company I rented a house from. Their primary concern seems to be money rather than providing good service. Throughout my stay, there were numerous issues, such as inadequate water supply and a lack of hot water. Despite these problems, the agency did not offer any meaningful assistance. When it came time to move out, they unfairly charged me a fee (£170), claiming I had not cleaned the house properly, even though I had thoroughly cleaned everything. Overall, I found their service to be poor and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable rental agency.

Negative experience: POM are fraudulent company. I got my security deposit back after almost a month of struggle. Can you imagine they have deducted 100£ for dust they found next to heating equipment in a room that was closed for about 28+ days straight. Do not fall prey to these companies as they are rotating your money & doing fake promises. They enter the room without the permission calling they have all the rights mentioned in the policy. Can you imagine you your had earned money deducted by these fraud ppl?? They are evil scammers !! Better find an alternative. Please check the photos provided to me by their so called team & Tell me where do you find cleanliness issues here….. A room locked for straight 30days & you get these pictures. Do not trust these ppl at all

Positive experience: Undeniably, Properties on the Market made renting an accommodation easy for me being a new person in LincoIn. The staff that attended to me is well mannered and polite .Therefore, I am giving Properties on the Market 4 stars for now. I will give 5 stars after living in the accommodation for 6months.

Negative experience: Simply put , overpriced, overcrowded , sham property agents, please avoid them at all costs. This is the worst property agents in the UK I have ever come across so far. They would be very responsive and sweet with you until you sign the tenancy agreement and then make you suffer throughout the tenancy. They will offer 50% off rent for first month and other offers that will make you very much lured into moving into one of their properties. Don’t fall for it. I was shown a 4 Bed shared house , and it turned put to be a over crowded with 5 people in the house( this is something they do at every property they manage in Lincoln) and very shabbily maintained( check the attached photos , and they were taken when i first moved into the house) . They will extort money out of you on the name of maintenance at every chance they get. They will invade your privacy by sending their maintenance guys barging into your property without even giving a proper 24 hour notice. They show criminal behaviour, I am sure the Lincoln council will take action against them

Negative experience: THE WORST PROPERTY I HAVE EVER BIENG LIVED IN UK. They were very nice until we get into the property, after they never reply for email’s. Charged a 25% amount from deposit unnecessarily for cleaning purpose. I suggest never ever take a property from them. There were no water for some days , hot water issues, washing machine not working , drier complaint. When we complaint them , they start bullying us for that. Disgusting

Fantastic experience: Been with properties on the market for nearly 5 years. All in all I've had a good experience with them. Recently had to relocate as structural work needed to be done on my bedroom wall. Fortunately they made the entire move very easy for me. They helped me find a similar property/room in the same location, closer to town, with the same rent. On moving day they sent two guys with a van to help me and was honestly one of the smoothest, stress free moves I've ever had. They let me choose which furniture I wanted to take with me which was very kind of them and there has been no extra costs charged to me which I was grateful for. Thankyou to all at properties on the market who I've dealt with in this move.

They will take high deposit and while returning also for no reason they will charge 150 pounds ! If there is any problem in the house these people won't even respond! Positive experience: Getting a house was easy. The reception staff Mounisha and Shankar were very nice to me, always responded to queries and emails promptly. I do wish their cleaning staff did a good job like them.

Negative experience: They tried to keep £150 of my deposit to cover the cost of two hours cleaning my room after I vacated. They have in-house cleaners who I am certain are not paid £75 per hour. I raised a dispute with TDS and they didn't even respond so I got the whole deposit back. But I bet they try it with every tennant and most just take it on the chin. If you do rent through these people, be ready to dispute the money they hold back. It's easy to do through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and doesn't cost anything.

Negative experience: Thieves and scammers! Took 90 pounds off my deposit for "cleaning crew" when we left it spotless the day we handed the keys and vacated. Not to mention their "thorough" smoke alarm checks that never happen and cleaning crew that shows up to do some superficial surface cleaning once in a blue moon!

Negative experience: This was my first experience. Agent 'Shankar' didn't even show up during one of the scheduled viewings. It has been months that the agency have not even apologised for it. It was a bad experience for me atleast.

Positive experience: I have completed the 6 months and move to another place. I repeatedly follow up my deposit with Properties on the Market but the reception said that I couldn’t claim it anymore because the 90 days period has lapsed, thats ridiculous! 90 days is for deposit scheme and once it is removed from the dps it will be handed back to the landlord because a new tenant took over, it was not in the agreement that they will not be returning back the deposit. Latest update: I have spoken to the manager, and she’s so lovely and she helped resolved the issue and contacted me and gave me updates on my claim and I am so thankful and very grateful for her, as I was able to claim the deposit.

Negative experience: Horrendous company to deal with. All take...no give. Tried to with hold our deposit, but court proceedings immediately got it refunded. Not to be trusted.

Fantastic experience: I had an excellent experience with the team, especially with Mr. Sankar and his colleague Ms. Munisha. Despite arranging everything remotely from Istanbul, the whole process of choosing my apartment, paying the deposit, getting the keys, and settling in was really smooth! Mr. Sankar and Ms. Munisha were kind enough to stay longer at the office so that I could collect my keys as my train reached Lincoln only after working hours. They were even kind enough to give me a ride to a shopping mall with their personal car, helping me buy some basic items needed to start in my new place, and driving me back home. I am extremely grateful for Mr. Sankar's professional and yet friendly attitude. I would highly recommend him and Ms. Munisha to anyone searching for a place to rent or buy in Lincoln. You will not be disappointed. The house I checked in was exactly as it was described in the advertisement. They have even painted the whole place before my arrival. I am absolutely happy with the service provided by them.

Fantastic experience: I went to their website and there were no rooms available advertised but they didn't hesitate to show me a soon to be vacated property that fit the bill. The entire transaction was dealt with by Daniel in the office who was nothing less than courteous and professional throughout the entire process, good to see someone so young doing things so well. The room was cleaned and given a fresh coat of paint before moving in and everything works great, top job.

Fantastic experience: My experience with them was nice ,I received special treatment from the team . The customer care rep Mounisha was so vibrant. Once I showed interest in one of their properties in Kirkby in Ashfield , she followed me up with calls and arranged viewing. The distance to head office in Lincoln almost got me to look away to search else where for accomodation but she went extra mile by encouraging me and give me good direction to Lincoln. All were settled within hours and she arranged for a taxi that took me down to the apartment all the way from Lincoln. Nice apartment with state of the art equipments !!

Mounisha from on the market was very helpful even though I didn’t get exactly what I wanted but she got me something I can make use of for a while. Fantastic experience: I had been trying to find a property for my dad who was looking to relocate to Lincoln. This was proving to be somewhat problematic due to his age. Daniel from Properties On The Market got in touch with me after I had shown interest on the website. After giving a full brief of what I wanted details were sent to me promptly and viewings arranged. I can honestly say the process and service I received was excellent and I would definitely recommend their services. In 5 days everything was signed and sealed.

Negative experience: I know this business from the time it was almost nothing and saw it growing despite poor management of properties and offering below-standard services. The owner, Sathvahana Reddy Vaddaram, is an extremely dishonest person and instructs his staff to be rude and extract as much from the tenants as possible. He has managed to stay in the business this long, as the reviews reflect, only by employing extreme deception, lies, manipulation, and cheating. Yes some people may be extremely lucky to get good services but the majority have been deceived and will be as long as the owner and his management exists. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Negative experience: - Positive reviews are almost all written by friends/ family of the company director or previous employees. - The employees page on their website uses google stock images of random people with fake names (not current employees). - Properties are often small, not well maintained and overpriced. (target market is young people and immigrant families). - Only care about getting your business and then you will be forgotten if you have any issues. -I don't know how the director finds time to run his many, many businesses to a professional level. (Leaving in reply to the comment below asking about my 1 star review, hope this clears things up!)
