Negative experience: Phoned in to ask about viewing a property I liked. They asked all the usual questions, and then told me I had to fill out a full tenant application form, employer details, the whole lot. After I sent it back, they told me the landlord doesn’t accept single occupiers. Which, fine, whatever, but I told them that over the phone in the first place. So either they’re on some side mission to collect as much personal info as possible to sell off to scam call centres, or they’re just plain stupid. Neither option is great. I was speaking to Katie Jones, their “Lettings Branch Manager” (if you can believe that). Honestly, you'd expect someone with that title to at least listen to basic information before wasting people’s time. Anyway, best to avoid these mouth breathers altogether.

Communication was very good, with most emails responded to within the working day and regular phone call follow up's. The rest of the team are also a credit to the branch. They were always friendly when I phoned in, and were eager to assist with questions and concerns. Unlike most other agents we had dealings with, there was no pressure to use the "in house" mortgage adviser (They asked once and it was never brought up again). I will definitely be considering MA, should we sell up in the future.

Fantastic experience: Recently sold my house through Michael Anthony Estate Agents and primarily dealt with Henry Swindlehurst. From the get-go Henry was friendly and gave a much better first impression compared to other valuations I had with other agents. For me it was an easy decision to choose them to sell my home. Their rates are competitive (better than other offers I received) and quite frankly I trusted Henry and his team more. Henry is diligent in terms of getting answers and is proactive in pushing the process onwards. My only note of improvement would be regarding weekend opening information. Google implies that the Central MK office is open on Sundays but it is in fact the Bletchley branch. It's great that they are open on weekends and makes for better communication, but the Google listing could be slightly improved here. Thanks Henry and the team for getting my house sold, I'm very grateful! I would use Michael Anthony in the future for any potential house sale/purchase.

Fantastic experience: Had my tenants since the beginning of renting my house out and can say that the vetting process was spot on as the tenants have been brilliant since day one. If there’s ever an issue with your property they’re quick to let you know and offer help if needed with a tradesman from their books. They do regular checks to see all is in order at the property and send a report to you. They are always prompt in forwarding your monthly monies and have never been late with me. . Your property is in good hands imo.

Fantastic experience: Currently renting through Micahel Anthony and can highly recommend them. Their services have been exceptional. I mainly deal with the Lettings Manager, Katie Jones. What a credit she is to the team there. Any issues are dealt with immediately and the service Katie has provided has been fantastic. From time to time problems creep up but these are dealt very professionally and efficiently by Katie.

Negative experience: As a letting agency I have found them to be questionable in there accountability and client support as well as arrogant and insulting. They do collect there fees promptly though.
