Negative experience: Frustrating and Poorly Managed Experience I had a very disappointing experience with this estate agent during both the sale of a property and the purchase of another. Viewings were handled very poorly. On multiple occasions the agent did not show up, leaving me to conduct the viewings myself. This is not acceptable for a paid service. Communication throughout the process was consistently inadequate. Deadlines were not clearly communicated, updates were often missing, and questions were not properly relayed between parties. This caused unnecessary stress and confusion at every stage. Even after completion, issues continued due to poor communication, resulting in further avoidable problems. What was most concerning was the lack of client care. I did not feel that my best interests were being considered. At one point, I was advised to auction the property, which could have significantly reduced its value and created serious risk. There were also instances of inconsistent communication which made the situation more difficult than it needed to be. Overall, I cannot recommend this estate agent. The service was disorganised and lacked the level of professionalism expected in such an important transaction.

Fantastic experience: We viewed around 6 or 7 properties through Acres with Beth and Katherine and have to say how refreshingly open, honest, professional and friendly we found them to be. We viewed around 50 homes, with various estate agents and the marked difference between the agents was quite remarkable. Viewings weren't rushed, follow up calls always took place and add on's like mortgages, solicitors were not pushed. Basically we felt that the whole process was one of honesty! Unfortunately, we didn't find our forever home with them, not for want of trying on their part, but we would definitely use them in the future to sell our property. The chain below was long and complex but Steve and the team did a great job of following up and keeping me informed. I talked to Steve on a daily basis and found him very easy to work with. Fantastic experience: I was buying a particularly troubled property, with problems on its paperwork, boundary maps, etc.. Claire Allum did an amazing job in chasing the solicitors to ensure that everything happens at the end. It took in total 137 days from offer acceptance to completion due to the lockdown, which was affecting the operation of the city council, solicitors, banks, etc..., but Claire was always present to chase. I am thankful for their support, especially in times when we were losing hope in the purchase being completed before the stamp duty holiday ends.

Negative experience: As a tenant for many years I have observed that whenever something works in their favour the communication is flawless. The other way round - you end up waiting a long time or you’re being ignored. RESPONSE: Yes please! I have been sent a contract renewal with rent increase with less than a month’s notice and when I pointed it out the reply was „it is in line with your contract” ...what does that that even mean? Also I have been waiting for a deposit refund for 3 weeks now and when I chased it last week I had no reply.

Negative experience: Shame there is not a ZERO start ! this agent is really terrible. we used them which is completely wasted our time. I cannot believe from the manager to staff none of them are decent ! A typical Cowboy agent! They have no professional attitude, no moral , no knowledge, no Conscious . How could they run this estate agent business for so many years? Cannot imagine How many people have been suffered from their bad business attitude? They just want to take people’s money. Do not recommend this agent to sell your house !

Sharon and her team were absolutely brilliant from start to finish - they dealt with my house sale and every step through the process, I was updated regularly, the team chased when they needed to and we completed on exactly the date we said we would 8 weeks ago when my house sold.
