Redwoods

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Redwoods highly enough after they sold my property in Halifax. From start to finish the whole experience was outstanding. Their communication was excellent they kept me fully in the loop with regular updates and took the time to clearly explain every step of the process so I always knew exactly where things stood. They were genuinely proactive, anticipating issues and keeping everything moving smoothly without me having to chase. What impressed me just as much is how well they look after my rental portfolio. As a landlord, I really value the care they show both me and my tenants. They handle everything professionally and thoughtfully, which gives me complete peace of mind. If you’re selling a property in Halifax or need a reliable team to manage your rentals, Redwoods are the ones to go to. Outstanding service all round.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Redwoods Estate Agents highly enough in particular Oliver. From start to finish, their service has been nothing short of exceptional. My brother recently purchased a property through them, and while the process presented some significant challenges due to complicated building control issues related to an extension, the team at Redwoods went above and beyond to ensure everything was resolved and the sale went through smoothly. Their professionalism, dedication, and sheer determination to help us navigate these difficulties were truly remarkable. They liaised tirelessly with all parties involved, kept us informed at every step, and made us feel supported throughout what could have been a stressful process. It was clear they genuinely cared about helping him secure his dream home, and their expertise and commitment were instrumental in overcoming the hurdles he faced. Thanks to their hard work and proactive approach, everything was sorted in a timely manner, and he now is happily settling into his new property. Fantastic experience: Being a builder I have sold quite a few houses with Redwoods and wouldn’t use anyone else. Chris, Richard,Oliver and Charlotte have been great over the years and always go the extra mile. House sales can be challenging sometimes so you need an agent who is straight talking and gets the job done. Some agents switch off when a sale price is agreed, but really that’s when the work starts! I’ve always found Redwoods are there for you from start to finish.

Negative experience: Bunch of liars. Stay away!

Thanks again.

Fantastic experience: This estate agent gets a 10/10 for service from me and my family. Even though we’re not the client they have been transparent from when making our initial offer which sets them apart from the rest out there. As were used to hearing “We cannot tell you what offers have been received” Etc. Again thank you all at Redwoods and we hope to purchase many more in the future through you guys.

Fantastic experience: I lived in a rental property with them for over 3 years, recentally moved to a housing association property. If I even moved out of this property I would 100 look for another place with them. They are absolutely brilliant, if I phoned up about an issue with the property they would get it sorted asap.

Fantastic experience: We sold our rental property in June 2022. We live in Coventry and the property we sold was in Halifax. We are sincerely grateful to Chris and the Redwoods team for making the sale process very quick and smooth without us ever needing to be physically present. Chris went out of his way to get the property to a satisfactory selling standard at a reasonable cost. We were very impressed from the very beginning with the professionalism, kindness and commitment he extended to us. Charlotte was equally helpful when dealing with the necessary paperwork and queries. We would highly recommend Redwoods’ services. (Sam & Christine)

Fantastic experience: Redwoods and Chris have been first class in selling my father's house, in the middle of this lockdown. Good advice on chosing the buyer, and kept us informed but not hassled as he fielded the flak from another eager buyer (at a lower price !!). I would highly recommend you make them your first choice to get the best price and great service.

I can strongly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: Used redwoods for Years Always fantastic

Fantastic experience: Great agency, easy to deal with, friendly people. Been very happy renting through them for 3.5 years.

Fantastic experience: friendly and professional agency, fantastic service, no problems at all. simply perfect.

Fantastic experience: I have always had excellent service from this independent family run estate agent. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, whether buying ,selling or renting .l would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Fantastic experience: I would not hesitate to recommend these as a letting agent. I have rented a few different properties of Redwoods over 12 years faultlessly. Chris Richard and the team are brilliant, professional, polite, helpful and very approachable. I cannot thank them enough. Definitely 5 stars.

Negative experience: Terrible service. Booked to view a property, got a phone call half an hour before the appointment asking if I still wanted to view to which I replied yes. Turned up for the viewing as arranged with my young son and baby at 9.15, nobody came for the viewing, the people who had booked to come and look at the property after me then appeared and were also left waiting. It got to 9.45 by which point my baby was getting upset so we left without seeing the house. There was no for sale sign up outside the house to indicate which one it was yet the property has been on the market for two months! So glad it's not my house they're trying to sell. Only book a viewing if you've plenty time to waste.

Fantastic experience: I have worked with Richard and Chris at Redwoods for over 15 years and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent a property. Over the years they have kept me legal, offered much sound advice and helped to keep me sane, during uncertain times. They offer a professional yet, personalised service and I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me these past years.

Fantastic experience: I have rented two properties previously owned through Redwoods and also sold them both through them. I have always found them to be highly efficient and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone thinking of renting, selling or if anyone is looking for a company to manage their property whilst it is let. They are a 100% trustworthy. I have nothing but praise for them Caitlin Edwards

Fantastic experience: Selling a property in Halifax on behalf of 88 Year old Dementia sufferer now in a care home near to my wife and I. We live 80 miles away from the property and could only go off positive comments on line. No regrets at all, Chris and his staff very helpful, kept us more in touch than my own Solicitors, saw things through with a common sense approach at all times and we saw a successful conclusion and sale. Thanks to all at this office. Phil (Mansfield)

Fantastic experience: I found Redwoods very helpful, polite, professional, and they always got back to me quickly for any questions I had. Would definitely use again :)

Fantastic experience: I cannot believe that the previous review is a genuine reflection of the same company that has helped me through a particularly difficult and drawn out sales process over the past few months. I have sold several properties in various parts of the country over the past 5 years so have dealt with a considerable number of Estate Agents. Redwoods, without doubt, are by far the best I have ever used. Their professionalism, local knowledge, wide range of contacts and clear communications made sure that we overcame various problems in a timely manner to bring the sale to a successful conclusion. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them and giving them a thoroughly deserved 5 star rating

Fantastic experience: Excellent service and great communication highly recommended thanks to all the staff

Negative experience: Not a clue how they've managed to get ssich a high rating. They're shocking! The only time they get in touch is about rent. Very poor communication skills, we were left without electric over night and nearly 24 hours even though we have three young children, had a mouldy old carpet left in our garden for months (which should of been moved when we first moved in), very faulty electrics which they didn't fix until a few weeks before we vacated the property & a number of other things wrong with the house. After we moved in, a close friend of ours (who also rented off redwoods) their attic bedroom ceiling caved in and they didn't sort that until they moved out. TOTAL DISGRACE!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend, great communication both email and telephone. Went above and beyond. Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Having worked closely with Chris, Richard and the team for over 7 years I would highly recommend their services. Approachable, knowledgeable and always going the extra mile to assist.

Fantastic experience: Great family run business, always make time to make the service feel personal - Chris is very knowledgeable and has advised me on my own needs and not the needs of the business in the past. Always my first port of call when it comes to any housing needs. LH

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with Redwoods when I bought my house- professional and friendly service. Would recommend without hesitation!

Fantastic experience: Friendly, knowledgeable staff, good service & value guaranteed.
