Fantastic experience: We recently purchased a house listed by Bridgfords in Disley. Although Bridgfords weren’t acting as our agents, they were extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. Harry was fantastic in ensuring we had all the visits we needed to ensure we could make an informed decision. Chris and Steve were great in guiding us through the actual purchase. We have no hesitation recommending Bridgfords Disley.

Positive experience: the house I was selling was part of an estate which I was executing, the property had many issues and Mike guided me through the maze of potential problems achieving a good result for the estate beneficiaries- thanks Mike! I was especially thankful for the regular updates and the general 'keeping in touch'.

Positive experience: AVOID GILSON GREY. No issues with the estate agents, but if they recommend Gilson Grey as your conveyancer, don't do it. I've never met a more useless bunch of "professionals". I've spent more than 2 weeks and 30 phonecalls trying to get someone to send in forms for my LISA deposit, a 5 minute task. Can't complete my purchase until then.

Fantastic experience: I’m so glad we chose Bridgfords Disney based on their high scoring online reviews. Mike and Stacey worked their socks off to sell our house and Mike went above and beyond, keeping an eye on the market and alerting me when a house we’d missed out on (being sold by another agent) went back on the market. He worked hard on the phones and took the pain out of negotiations for us. He actually interrupted my husband while he was stressing and said “It’s my job to negotiate, you don’t need to worry!” He fought our corner in negotiations with both our buyer and sellers. With Bridgfords you know you’re in safe hands. Even though we’re slightly outside their catchment area, it makes no difference these days with online marketing. Mike actually found our buyers, who live abroad, on his list of potentially interested parties, which led to an offer in less than a week. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again

Although we only dealt with them for a short time, branch manager Michael was very knowledgeable, complimentary and respectful when in our home. Fantastic experience: Mike and his team are extremely professional and we've used Bridgfords at Disley for two house sales now, even through we were in New Mills (at the time). They navigated us through a lengthy sales process with multiple unforeseen challenges with an overseas buyer, us having absolutely no luck whatsoever trying to sell our property via an online-only company of a Purple hue. Don't even go there! Back to Bridgfords, Mike is an extremely knowledgeable, experienced and professional estate agent. He remains composed even when things become fraught and our buyer started to make things difficult/stressful for us. They secured us a good/fair price for our property sale in a fairly challenging 2024-25 property market (for sellers at least). The staff at the Bridgford Disley office communicate very well indeed, returning calls and emails promptly. They are a genuinely nice bunch of people. Having bought/sold 15 properties in 28 years, we know from experience that this is not the case with some other agencies! Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner bought our house in 2018, and we used Lee Daffern as our mortgage consultant to help us get a good mortgage in place. We recently also had Lee do our remortgage when our term was up again this year. We cannot recommend Lee enough! My partner is self employed and we were struggling to secure a mortgage on our own, and Lee handled everything swiftly, and secured us an incredible mortgage. We contacted and had numerous other estate agents around to value our property. From the moment Mike walked through the door there was already an element of professionalism about him. We knew almost instantly it would be them we used. Mike works with Ginette and Rachel in the office who again deserve the same praise. To say they work as a team is an understatement. Negative experience: Most unprofessional company ever, absolutely no morals and do not take there word for anything (Jannette). We had an offer accepted on a house with agreement it was immediately withdrawn from the market SSTC and no further interest entertained, low and behold the lovely people at bridgfords did the exact opposite and we ended up being gazumped. We had instructed solicitors and booked survey but they don't care and will go back on there word....Beware of these untrust worthy outfit.

Negative experience: Do not let a home from these people, we let a house till our house was built and omg £900 pm for a damp disgusting house in chinley use someone else

Fantastic experience: The whole of the team at Bridgfords in Disley have been superb supporting us in our quest to sell our property and finding a future home. Its easy to say that everyone was great. But for us they have been exactly that. Along our road of selling we came across a number of other agents in the are where we viewed properties. Most of them are very poor at following up and looking after your feedback. Mike, Rachel and Ginette did exactly the opposite nothing was too much trouble no matter how challenging the request might've been. Mike clearly has great local knowledge and we acheived much more selling through Bridgefords that two other local agents had suggested. The photos which went on the internet were very good. Overall an excellent service. The only warning would be to find your own legal team. We thought that if we used a solicitor associated to Bridgefords it would simplify the process and make it easier. We were allocated a solicitor from Birmingham via their national scheme. They were poor. Mike managed to apply leverage via Bridgefords but I would suggest sourcing your own solicitor.

Negative experience: Rachel made the process of buying a house so much more stressful by putting her own opinion on most if not all the conversation we had when trying to purchase and then through the buying process. i would never sell a house with bridgeford because of the unnecessary stress she caused.

Negative experience: Not very impressed with the service so far, property listed online apparently is "on hold" so they refused me the opportunity to book a viewing. I am hoping that this is some kind of clerical error, and if not they should remove unsaleable properties from the website, it is very frustrating and far from the proffessional service one expects when making such a large investment.
