Fantastic experience: Last January, we breezed into Miles' intimate office with the welcoming blaze from its woodburner intending just to air the possibility of putting our house on the market in a month or two. Within fifteen minutes, he had booked an appraisal for the following week, at which he advised us on how to declutter and present the house, together with an acceptable selling price. A raft of superb photos followed and a couple of viewings which secured us an offer which we accepted. We were in the hands of a professional. Do not be fooled by the suave, wily fox exterior! - underneath lurks an experienced and hardworking agent, with that rare combination of honesty, compassion and plain speaking. As sellers, it has not been an easy ride for us, with many unwelcome twists and turns in the process, but Miles helped us to steer a steady course towards an exchange of contracts and imminent completion. Negative experience: Phoned reference a property which to be fair was a bit cheeky as it was a fair bit under the asking price (£20k under on a £295,000 house) but the lady was very pleasant on the phone and stated I would receive a call back. The call from the person who I think may be the owner never happened and when I called back was made to feel a bit of a fool for even offering with a reply of I know the client and he is neither in need of, or inclined to accept such an offer. A simple I'm sorry they are not likely to accept would of been a better reply I think.

Fantastic experience: Don’t be put off by Miles from Miles Estate Agents wanting to keep the Conveyancing on track. Although a little skeptical at first for keeping the two parties apart, there is no doubt that the process was made quicker, and we were all far better informed, by him having access to both Solicitors and a complete familiarity with the process. More than an Estate Agent, a refreshing change although maybe a tad over protective of his clients! (We were buyers).
