Their communication was excellent - we were kept up to date at all times. We highly recommend them.

Negative experience: Rang for some help with Deposit Scheme after they had taken over letting of a property from another agent. Promised to email details and nothing happened. After multiple attempts I finally got through again, it seems their phone system was failing and requested a call back from the person concerned. Fingers crossed for a return call.

Negative experience: I've never gone back to Palmer Snell since they last rented my house and without me knowing changed the new tenant's electric and gas over to a supplier called Spark. It caused no end of confusion since I was telling the tenants the supplier was EFD, but behind the scenes Palmer Snell had placed some small print in the contract that they could change energy supply over to Spark when setting up a new tenancy. It's only now years later that others have voiced the same happened to them. Palmer Snell, Taunton unfortunately have lost my business for life due to this incidence.

Fantastic experience: We have had a really lovely experience with Palmer Snell. I would like to specifically thank Jay Jay and Alice for all the help they did in helping us set up and complete the move. We lived far away so travelling was hard especially with a small child and they made it very convenient for us to remotely view the house and helped us get the documentation done quite quickly. They were always available for any enquiries and made time for us to see the house later in person. We had a very short timeline and they made sure it all got done within that time. I could not have been more happier with the service they provided. Would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a place in Taunton.

Negative experience: Very poor customer service at the end of our tenancy. Despite having agreed to the amount of deposit to be returned with our landlord, we have found that the team at Palmer Snell have been slow to respond to our request for the return of the deposit. We are now having to resort to making use of the tenancy deposit scheme to raise a dispute to regain our deposit even though we and our landlord agreed how much should be returned at the start of October.

Then Kelly and the team made buying my house so simple, I didn't need to worry about a thing. It all went through without a hitch, big thank you to the team.

Negative experience: 1 star is too high for this branch! Incompetence, deception, a massive lack of empathy. Unskilled and unknowledgeable staff. A huge lack of communication, understanding and accountability for their mistakes and errors. Undue pressure put on us by them, due to mistakes they had made. One staff member will tell you one thing, and another will tell you something completely contradictory two minutes later. The staff are rude and condescending, they never answer the phone, nor emails. They rope you in by sending the most lovely member of staff to value your house, sign you up. Then you get lumped with staff who honestly, shouldn’t be employed in general, let alone in the industry! I could go on and on. So if you want to be deceived, ignored, condescended and belittled then go ahead! Otherwise avoid at all costs!
