Fantastic experience: I recently bought my new home with Connells Luton, I just want to say a massive thank you to Nabeel and Maryam, those to have been fantastic helping, Nabeel, got me into a property last minute, another Connells branch had the sale key for the property and he made a real effort to get the keys on a Sunday and give me a viewing on the house, I bought. It’s agents like Nabeel, we buyers love. And my mortgage broker Maryam, she’s just fantastic sorting my mortgage and making it very smooth. All the people in that Luton Connells branch just an amazing bunch! ❤️

Fantastic experience: Just purchased my first house through Connells and have to say the help I received from the branch Manager Marcus as well as Max was great. They were very proactive when any issues where bought to them, very responsive through emails and overall a pleasure to work with. I viewed a lot of houses before purchasing, with multiple agents (some not so great) but connells were by far the best. Wish them all the best.

Negative experience: On behalf of my father - Michael the lettings manager is by far the most patronising individual I have ever dealt with. After just one meeting a couple weeks back I could already tell the type of man he is, I have since given my portfolio of 20+ to another local agent who have been excellent so far. It’s a Shame as the office came highly recommended by a friend but it seems the staff in the office have changed in recent years and so has the service

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Connells at Geroge Street, Luton. Every member of the team was always helpful and very professional. We had Muki who did most our viewings and was always giving his professional opinion to guide us. He showed genuine interest in the sort of property we were looking for and found us the perfect place. I can’t fault Connells, they have been amazing. It was my solicitors of a different company that were letting me down the most but Connells were always approachable with any issues I had. Marcus who I will always refer to as the original boss man is such an awesome person. We intially had a slight admin error with our first viewing which almost resulted in us not seeing a property the first time we went to Connells. When we approached Marcus he prioritised us and made sure that we were seen to, that the appointment was kept. I will never forget that, these things do happen, people double book or sometimes don’t give the correct confirmation. Marcus ensured that we as his customers got the service that was promised to us. He also came on board and helped us loads when we had our struggles with the solicitors, chasing them and our broker. He was on it and made sure things got done how they needed to be done. Without him I don’t think we’d have gotten through this sale. Lastly I have to mention Max, he was such an amazing source of support, always willing to help and provide the best service. When things got stressful Max was a very approachable, kind and a hardworking professional. He always listened to my concerns and did the maximum he could to help me. He maintained his communication with me all the time to keep me updated as to what was happening. Overall all I can say is I am so glad I stuck with Connells, they really do work hard to keep their clients happy and satisfied.

Negative experience: Really disappointed with the service from Connells (George Street, Luton). After viewing several properties with them, we finally found one we liked and made an offer. I was told I’d be contacted with an update — but heard nothing back. When I called to follow up (politely, and for the first time), I was met with a rude and dismissive response, which felt completely uncalled for. No communication at all after that. We ended up going through another agent who treated us with much more professionalism and care. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Connells.

Negative experience: Absolutely wasted my time. I travelled from London today specifically for viewings booked by Naomi. (Sophie/sophia) called 2 hours before the appointment requesting me to move to my slot because they had too many bookings. She then tried to pressure me to make a decision to rent the property unseen on the phone. I spent my entire train journey by being badgered by them to come at the end of the day instead, which wasn’t possible for me. I tried to call the office number back who ended up not replying so essentially my booking was cancelled. So unprofessional to confirm a slot and then not be able to do it at such short notice.

Negative experience: Was dealing with Michael. All lovey dovey when trying to secure a deposit. Once secured, communication and updates were a struggle. Made me extremely frustrated as I had to make a bunch of arrangements. The delays and little communication made things worst. Michael has a horrible attitude and doesn't like when anyone give him the same attitude back. I had 3-4 guys asking about the dates. I made sure that I would get an answer so, I called 3 times (would have called more) to ensure my call would get answered so, I can confirm my dates to make arrangements. Upon him answering he said that "he doesn't appreciate being spammed". Very bad experience.

Fantastic experience: I have a recent experience with krystian celmierowski at Luton town centre branch, showing me properties for rent. Krystian is very professional and understanding. However I am still in the process of renting so can't share my whole experience but definitely a 5 stars for Krystian's professionalism and understanding. Negative experience: I was dealing with Sameera, and although things didn't go our way, she was very helpful. If you can, try getting her to help when it comes to renting a property. Everyone else there who was helping me I found very useless. I didn't get my deposit back, despite it saying so on the contract, and I was left with no apartment or anything. I honestly wouldn't recommend Connells, but if you are to go ahead with them, ask for Sameera.

Negative experience: I have been moved around many cities and rented many flat. I would say this place is the worst agent I ever have. It took them more than 6 month to return my deposit. They have a very complicated system that I have to chase among people in different department in this agent. For both landlord and who looking for renting, keep away from this agent as possible.

Fantastic experience: I rated Connells with 5 stars as their LETTING's Agents within 1 week of seeing my property, found me tenants, kept me informed with phone calls and emails that everything was running smoothly and within 3 weeks the tenants were all moved in with all paperwork signed. Special Thanks goes to Marco, Donna and Saqib from Lettings. They made renting with Connells really easy and I would definitely recommend this company and will be using them again.

Negative experience: Don't know what they are like providing service to landlords but I wouldn't be a tennant through them again. Terribly unresponsive and unorganised. UPDATE - had to to raise a dispute through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to recover our deposit a month and a half after vacating.

Negative experience: In the last couple of months its been impossible to get through to them its as though my number has been blacklisted. Everytime I call the phone is never answered but when I call with a private number somehow they are able to pick up. I've complained serval times to them in private about cancelling most of my veiwings at the last minute it seems very intentional in their behaviour and just basically very unprofessional all the way round. Given up on them, if I can't see simple viewings, only God knows what hell one must go through to get to the end of the buying process.

Negative experience: We waited for 4 months,we did all the papers.We did the mortgage principles,we’ve been accepted.And than God know what happened because they gave the house to someone else.We pâté the lawyer,we paid the wills and than no refund.Since we start talking with the agent Gourav Gupta he was lying from the beginning.Once you’ve been accepted,once you’re not accepted.What broker calls you with camera?What broker do something like this to a young couple who wants to buy a house?Just Connels Estate Agents.As a first time buyer I had the worse experience ever had in my entire life.

Positive experience: Generally awful service - extremely slow replies, at times no replies at all. error emails sent our regarding delayed rent payments which were later found to be completely inaccurate. Lack of basic level of customer service. Overall the service has been terrible until Mica began to deal with my enquiries. Mica showed top quality customer service, speedy and accurate responses as well as ensuring that my experience went smoothly. Thank you again Mica - you have slightly turned my perspective around!

Negative experience: Most useless estate agents in Luton; tried few times to book viewings for different properties. Last week called them first thing in the morning to arrange a viewing for a property; the lady on the phone said somebody will give me a call. Waited until 2 pm called again and got the same answer. Called at 4 pm and then a gentleman attended the phone beside assuring him that I have all the financial document to show before making any offer but still he was not ready to show me the property. Insisting that the property has already a higher offer and will only show me property if I agree higher price without viewing. Waste of time.

Negative experience: I chosen one star because it’s the low we can give. Me and my wife were trying to have a property and were trying our best to bring all the documents in. In the meantime we were trying to contact the manager of the agency to see if everything was setup for us to get the flat and double check once again if the flat would be ours however he literally ignore our calls and emails for 2 weeks. After 1 week close to date that it was supposed we to move in he replied changing details.Saying the flat wasn’t ours yet. Now me and my wife can’t get the property and they don’t want give us the deposit back. Also we don’t know where to go now and we lost the deposit all because of unprofessionalism and disregard

Negative experience: I give one star because there is no minus star. Connells Estate has been hugely frustrating to deal with when trying to get my deposit back, it took nearly 3 months to eventually get it back. Even when calling them they would say they would get back but never did, plus they would advice you to speak to a different department after chasing them as they would eventually say they can't help any longer, yet some of the employees didn't even know the number of the department to contact and advised to google it. There was one lady who did help at the end and was very helpful The experience of getting back my own money was extremely frustrating and I would not recommend using them, it's amazing that when they are asking for the money they are very easy to deal with however when you ask for your deposit back you have to go through such a headache. Beware if you don't want to go through all of this hassle to get back your hard earned money which you would never think would be this difficult like a battle to get back. Highly recommend against.

Negative experience: I drove all the way from Cambridge to Luton for a viewing. I waited outside the property no one turned up.I knocked at to the door only from for the Tenant to tell me she had Covid Symptoms and had cancelled the viewing. When I called Connell's to one of the male employees lied to me that Zoe had tried to call me four times. I had no missed calls, no texts, no voice messages and no email. Hey count not even apologies just defensive.

Negative experience: Do not follow the positive reviews as they are all being manipulated and have been left by people who have been paid. There’s is no doubt in saying that Harry, Zoe and James are con artists and have been letting out properties with dodgy background checks. They have accepted people on properties in exchange of money. James has also been involved in property management team at Leighton Buzzard who have changed landlords accounts and kept deposits illegally. Again, do not believe any 5 star reviews and stay away from this branch.

Negative experience: Total waste of time specially Harry and Zoe are specialist con artists. They will scam you before you know it and make you pay for services you won’t need. They kept my deposit and took their deposit for over 4 years of tenancy and never told me about it. I only found out when I came to the end of tenancy. Very unethical approach to the business and would recommend them at all. Keep as far as possible from this lettings branch in Luton town.

Negative experience: James, Zoe and Harry are the most reluctant and unreliable people at this branch. They would sound extremely helpful over the phone but in reality they are completely opposite. The moment you question their integrity and ask them about tenant’s background check not being performed, they would pass the blame to each other. Specially James is very incompetent and unprofessional person and I don’t understand who made him in charge of the premises. Don’t believe a word they say and look elsewhere for all your letting needs. Again do not use connells and do not agree anything with Harry or Zoe. They are bunch of liars and will con you out of your money.

Negative experience: Harry is extremely incompetent chap and so as their very member of staff. This branch must be the most hated in the local community. Starting from James, Zoe and Harry, every person will tell you their own version of story. Lost money when letting out my property and they didn’t manage properly and ending me costing my own insurance to pay for their irresponsible attitude towards my property. I’m never giving my property to Connells again specially when staff is rude and unhelpful. I have gone with Giggs & Bell instead, they are far better than people who have no interest in their job at connells and just sitting there passing their time. They are being paid for something that they all can’t deliver. Shame on you all for allowing this to happen to my property and James had guts to say that ok do whatever you can do. Nasty people with no work ethics.

Negative experience: James the branch manager is unhelpful and all they are interested is in raking money in and not providing any service in return. DO NOT USE CONNELLS ANS WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I have recently secured a flat through Connells and we couldn't reccommend them enough. From arranging the viewing to his support through all of the formalities, Kieran has gone above and beyond for us at every stage of the process. He is incredibly responsive and has not hesitated to answer any questions that we've had. We noted at the start of the process that we preferred a quick move due to work committments and Kieran managed to have everything on his side sorted in only a week! Thank you Connells and thank you Kieran!

Negative experience: Only helpful till they have their contract with you. Other than that they take forever to put requests through. We've had to go through our landlord several time because of Connells incompetence. Our landlord gets the job done faster once we get in touch with him. Connells also lied to us our landlord wants to increase our rent and told him vise versa. Always check with your landlords. These guys are sneaky and try to mess things up all the time. Absolutely useless!

Negative experience: Absolutely awful experience, took them 2 days to call me back, then they did not know why they were asked to call me, then guy did not listen to my questions and started talking out of sense (not answering what I was asking about at all) so I told him I was terminating the call. Also, eight years ago I purchased property via them - there were 3 viewings and they never, not once, went with me to the property (!) What are they charging for I I have no clue cose this is the worst service I ever experienced. Avoid !

Fantastic experience: Dealt with Zoe McConville for getting a new contract done as my flatmate moved out and a new one was moving in. Zoe was quick and responsive and got us sorted in a couple days. If you've got her you're in good hands. A solid 5 stars ( ̄∇ ̄)

Fantastic experience: Dealing with Zoe to sort out a new agreement with our tenants was easy and painless. Zoe kept us informed at all times and was alway available to talk to. Fantastic experience: Harry O'Brien was very helpful and quick to deal with our enquiries. We called to get a viewing, he followed all government protocols and was very patient with us. Moreover, he was kind enough to provide me with his personal phone number so that I could text him whenever I need - this was very important to me since I can easily get anxious. I definitely recommend Connells to anyone out there looking to rent or buy a house.

Negative experience: Gave these clowns 2 months notice of me vacating the property. They came and inspected the place but after another month they hadn't returned my deposit. I contacted them and they assured me I'd have it within 10 working days. This has passed and still not returned. Be wary of handing over any sums of money to this lot.

Fantastic experience: A very profesional agency. We booked a viewing for a flat and Zoe helped us to schedule it for the same day. She was friendly and helped us to have everything ready for the day that we requested to move. Negative experience: Tenant is moving out of our property, they have managed to lose the keys and aren't taking any responsibility. Please do not use, they are expensive, unresponsive with not professional attitude and do not provide a service worth the management fee you pay. Much better places elsewhere Had a follow up call asking why this review was put up and contesting it......

Negative experience: Rental Property became available on the Saturday, called at 10:00 for a viewing, was assured a callback, No response. Waited till Monday, now anxious that we would lose the rental called @ 8:30, asked to take the property without viewing. Assured it could be done and was told once again we'd be called back. Nothing again. Called them all day (5 times) on Tuesday, no answer. Called on Wednesday, property is gone. What a s***show, would be 0 stars if it could be.

Negative experience: The absolute worst letting agency i’ve ever had to deal with. The landlord who let the flat to me via connells, ended up taking the flat from them and privately managed himself. I had confidential information sent to me from them for another tenant, everything from their driving licence to their bank details, when i told them, they shrugged their shoulders. I first let from them in 2014, never returned after leaving them in 2017. Thank god.

Fantastic experience: I completed a purchase of a 1 bed flat in Luton at the end of January 2020. By Mid Feb we had completed all repairs to the flat and began our relationship with Connells through Ben Stagnell. They found us a tenant in a matter of days and all paperwork completed with the tenant moving in today (27 Feb 2020). The turnaround has been exceptional, Ben has been incredibly attentive and has been amazingly professional and personable throughout this quick process. Will 100% be using Connells for further properties that I purchase in the area and for the cheap cost of their services, would very highly recommend using Connells to others. This is probably the first review I have ever written, and that is a testimony to Ben and his office for the excellent service that they have provided to us.
