Negative experience: Don't Rent any property with this Letting agent.I had the most disappointing and horrible experience with them letting a house in Glasgow. The agency handed over the flat to me in the most filthy condition with nails and hair on Rugs and dusty surfaces.None of the chairs had stable legs.Apart from all this many other issues with the flat.The flat was basically given to me in a non-livable condition. After I raised this with their team on email with pictures they did not respond and sent someone to take pictures but still no action taken on the cleaning part. If there would be a zero rating option I would have surely selected that as I have the most stressful Letting experience with them.Their license should be taken off honestly.

Negative experience: Unfortunately had a really terrible experience. First of all moving in, February 2023, several issues in the property, seals coming away from the bath missing glass in a door, cracks in grout missing pieces off radiators and a window that wouldn’t shut in the master bedroom all of which we were assured would be promptly dealt with, none of these issues were ever fixed and we moved out June 2024. On top of all the existing issues that were visible on our first day in the property, after not even a month of living there black mould was rife through the house, the walls physically wet to touch especially bad in the master bedroom and the smallest of the 3 bedrooms which was going to be used for our -at the time- newborn when she was old enough. Not the standard of home you are expecting to live in when you are paying £700 a month rent and have forked out £1400 for a deposit. The washing machine that was in the property also broke during our time there and took over a week for someone to even come out to look at it and a further 3 to have it replaced, after multiple phone calls and us being told that they were waiting on a response from the landlord, we were out a fortune in launderettes as we have 2 very young children. Upon moving out of the property we had an inspection and were told everything was fine and we were good to hand back the keys (good riddance) the deposit was not returned to us until the end of August, bearing in mind we handed the keys back at the end of May. We requested a full repayment of our deposit, which was disputed to deduct £200 for “cleaning” which considering it was cleaner than when we moved in (it was filthy and took me a week to clean before I could put anything in it) seemed a bit unreasonable to me. On top of that, we had to replace the majority of our furniture totalling £2000 (roughly) not even including clothes and other odd bits damaged. Meaning our deposit wouldn’t even cover this not even considering the fact that we still had paid £1200 for our deposit for our next home, when I contacted them about this I was not responded to at all. Overall an extremely negative experience and has actually really put me off looking at several properties just based on this company being the letting agent due to how badly managed things were. *** Edit *** This is Infact not what happened. The FULL amount of the deposit was released to us after I disputed your charges with safe deposit Scotland and no one responded to them (a usual from your staff really) I actually know the previous tenant and they too had issues with mould and damp so this statement is a blatant lie - at no point did I expect the landlord to change anything however I did expect that repairs that were promised to be carried out to be carried out and not left and never repaired. The washing machine repair did in fact take a shockingly long time and if you truely believe your staff are carrying out these repairs in “days” I urge you to look at your records.

Negative experience: I had checked out of the house and even after a month they did not came back to me with deposit. So frustrated and they did not even responded. Alison was the representative very irresponsible. Please avoid this agents for any purpose. If you for to raise any issue they simple escape not at all advised please avoid.
