Negative experience: Asked to pay £15k to a buyer ‘under the table’ and not through solicits for an additional payment to a seller. Seller didn’t agree with a RICS valuation. House is STILL on the market, 4 years later. I’d avoid at all costs. May not be illegal practice, but it’s certainly not legitimate.

As a first-time seller, I can’t even begin to explain how scary and overwhelming the whole process felt at the start. I had so many questions and worries, but from day one the team were absolutely incredible. They took the time to clearly explain every step of the process, making sure I understood what was happening and what to expect. They truly held my hand throughout the entire journey and made me feel comfortable, reassured, and supported at all times. Fantastic experience: Our previous experiences of estate agents selling several houses ourselves over many years has generally been varied. All the staff we dealt with at The Property Centre in Worcester were exemplary and this was easily the best overall experience and communication we have ever had with an estate agent. This started with the initial flexibility to suit us with a valuation to the professionalism of the valuation and discussion of their package (Dan Turpin). The other 3 local competitors were much less helpful both for valuation appointments and discussions. The Property Centre arranged several viewings before the house was even marketed, leading to an offer before the house was officially marketed. The process was then managed by Laura, the "Sales Progressor" who not only acted as a go to contact but pro actively ensured the sales process was managed as efficiently as the other parts of the "chain" allowed. Negative experience: Not a great experience, I drove two hours for a viewing and arrived to find the tenants in the property and the estate agent was late. The estate agent had little to no people skills and it was an instant red flag, we asked two questions straight away; how old was the property? and was the boiler gas? - he didn't know the answer to either... We felt he was just chaperoning us and made no effort to actually engage, the property wasn't for us, but the service, professionalism and knowledge by the estate agency was poor. If we can drive 2 hours to be on time for a viewing, surely the estate agent can turn up on time and do his homework..

The sales team were hungry for the sale but did not appear to be overbearing or pushy and remained professional,polite and efficient throughout the time the property was on the market. Once the sales team had found a buyer I was passed over to the admin team who again handled the process with courteousy and accuracy regarding all of the communication through to completion. Overall I was very impressed with the work that was done for me and for the efficiency and professionalism that they provided me with.

Negative experience: I feel they under valued my property. Pushed me in to selling it for way less than it's worth. They even messed up my moving date. Cost me a lot money and out done me. Looks like I could of got a lot more for my property.

We had a few valuations done from other well known estate agents in Worcester and property centre had the most experience with our area and knew the highest/accurate amount we could get for our property. (If we would have gone with another estate agent we would have missed out on £20K+!). Everyone at the property centre has been lovely and so easy to work with and they kept us updated along the way. Overall a very pleasant experience and we will use them again in the future if buying/selling.

My main reason for selecting TPC was because of a viewing we had with you where Tegan showed us around a property in Worcester. It wasn't the right property for us, but I knew that I'd want Tegan to represent mine when it was ready to go on the market. The enthusiasm and knowledge she showed for that property was exactly what I wanted for my property in Worcester. In relation to sales management and valuations, from the get go Dan was amazing. I didn't feel in any way pressured to do anything. When he came and valued the property he was quick, efficient knowledgeable and professional. Dealing with him on the phone was always a pleasure and I felt like he was managing my sale really well. He was always chasing up viewers and providing honest feedback. I feel like he and I were on the same page and we quickly established a professional and respectful working relationship. I felt like I could speak openly and honestly with Dan, and I always told him he could be open and honest with me. He handled the negotiations well and I feel like we got an end result that was fair for all parties. In relation to the sales progression team, specifically Laura. I genuinely appreciate the efforts she made to progress our sale as quickly as possible. This was an almost impossible task given the number of solicitors involved particularly when one of the other agents involved were being so useless at passing on information. I know that my buyers appreciated TPC efforts to get everything resolved as swiftly as possible. To the team answering the phones (Liam et al.), they were always amazing, always called back, and always got me the answers I needed. An amazing effort by all involved.
