Negative experience: Disappointing First Impression I called to arrange a viewing for one of the properties they advertised in Oxford. They took my details and said someone would call back to schedule it — but it’s been three days and I haven’t heard anything. I followed up with two more calls, and each time someone simply told me they were busy. I understand things can get hectic, but if they’re too busy to even arrange a first viewing, how can I trust them to handle the rest of the buying process? If this is how the initial contact is managed, I’d rather not find out how the rest would go.

Fantastic experience: I was introduced to cherry picked residential following several recommendations and after speaking with them about my upcoming property sales I knew they were the right guys to place my trust in as well as helping me secure our next family home. Throughout both sets of transactions we were kept up to date with all developments and changes. When met with a tricky probate purchase Ajay in particular went out his way more than once to call and email around and keep progress moving at all times of day and night. All of the team jumped in where necessary to get things across the line when holidays came up to ensure no delays. Fantastic experience: I don't particularly enjoy my interactions with most estate agents and I'm very honest about it. With Vinny and Ajay there's a no nonsense conversation, I have never felt like they are being anything other than honest with us. When a problem arises, as you know these can happen during the buying and selling process, they are thorough in dealing with it. Over inflation of prices is something we are very aware of and this is where you need the honesty to ensure a quick sale if that's what you are wanting to achieve (we certainly were). Where cherry picked come into their own is how proactive they are, I can contact them with a request and they action and come with ideas. We met Ajay during the valuation of our rental house, he was strait forward on the price range and process to follow. His advice on what dilapidation work needed to be done and what would be better to leave for the new owners, as we would not recover the costs. Despite the market dynamics, we had plenty of interest, but needed to adjust the price to compete with the nationwide house builders price pressure, as predicted by Ajay. When we accepted a good offer, Ben and Ajay were very proactive to keep the ridiculous legal process on-track, as the buy-side solicitors were aloof to say the least, they followed through including the hand-over of the keys after completion.

Not only was Vinny one of the nicest people you could wish to meet, but for the first time during a selling process, I knew I could trust the company to sell my house. Vinny started off initial work and then I was introduced to Ben, who like Vinny was both super friendly, and passionate about wanting to sell my house to the right person. Communication has been something that has been a constant negative with previous purchase/sales but it couldn't be anymore different with Cherry Picked. As a landlord I have worked with several agents over the years, but must say Ajay and the team really have set a new level for service, local knowledge and professionalism. Our estate agent Ollie was friendly and knowledgeable, responded quickly and was always available when needed. The sale was stressful for a number or reasons, through no fault of Cherry Picked, but it was very reassuring to know that we always had Ollie looking out for us. As a result a potentially difficult situation was made much more tolerable.

They were always friendly, flexible with viewings and took the time to understand our needs and position as first-time buyers. They were always honest with us and kept us well-informed throughout the process, viewing confirmations were sent almost instantly after scheduling to provide us with all necessary information to reduce the burden on us. Negative experience: We had a real rollercoaster with house purchase, and while we thought we were being really cared for by Oliver and the team at Cherry Picked, but the reality is we were taken for a ride by them. As first time buyers we had to really trust and work alongside them because the buyer was ultimately a total crook. A lot of the items we were told were in working order or mere patch up jobs turned out to be thousands of pounds of work.turns out the seller fled the country because they are in debt and HMRC are chasing them along with all their lenders. If cherry picked can’t do the basic background check on their clients financial positions, how can you trust them ? They’ll work for anyone for the business, and screw you over in the process

Fantastic experience: Cherry Picked are a very professional and friendly outfit. I used another large estate agent in Cowley Oxford to try and sell the same property. Unfortunately they were the complete opposite of Cherry Picked and the property was unsold. It was a pleasure to work with Vinny and Oliver. They were very helpful and available anytime even outside of office hours, they made the whole process simple and easy.

Fantastic experience: We had a positive experience with Cherry Picked when purchasing our first home. It was easy to arrange appointments to view the property and we had two good 30 min viewings. Some agents were asking us to spend 10 mins in a property at the time! The agent Oliver Marsden was fantastic throughout the process - from the first viewing right through he has been friendly, knowledgeable and extremely responsive to queries. When any issues in the purchase came up he was in constant communication with us, the seller and solicitors to keep the process moving. He dealt with all our requests for access to the house very promptly, which meant surveys and checks went ahead quickly and smoothly.
