Negative experience: Very poor experience with Move Property Sales and Lettings, mainly due to the conduct of Emily Robinson. The level of customer service was extremely disappointing. There was no empathy, no professionalism, and no attempt to understand my situation as a client. Emily appeared only interested in her own position and showed complete disregard for the client’s perspective. Communication was poor, dismissive, and unnecessarily confrontational. This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Instead of support or problem-solving, I was met with indifference and a lack of basic courtesy. The way I was treated fell far below any reasonable standard expected from a letting agency. I would not recommend dealing with her in particular if this is how clients are handled. Very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience with Move and Harry Welsby in particular. Even though we have not been able to secure a property yet, I have every confidence that Harry and team will be the ones who will make it happen for us! Negative experience: Honestly deserves 0 stars, they have made the process of letting unnecessarily long and tiresome. Didn’t change the details I requested in my contract and acted obtuse when I was made aware. Has been a terrible experience talking to multiple staff members in the Gloucester team who aren’t in agreement on their own company policies. Would strongly not recommend.

Negative experience: If I could give Move Estate Agents zero stars, I would. The house was practically unliveable, and their handling of serious issues was beyond unprofessional. Before moving in, we pointed out damp in the property and were promised it would be properly treated. We specifically asked them not to just paint over it—they agreed, but that’s exactly what they did. My housemate reported a leak in her ceiling multiple times and was repeatedly ignored until it finally caved in, destroying a lot of her belongings. My own window was also broken and wouldn’t close during winter. I told them I was constantly getting sick, but they still took ages to fix it and never treated it as urgent. We were all ill throughout the year due to the poor living conditions. On top of that, they constantly messed up rent payments, confusing who had paid and when. The overall experience was incredibly stressful—something no student should have to deal with, especially during their final year. Avoid at all costs.

Fantastic experience: I would just like to thank Move and Steve in Property Management. He has been very helpful in resolving a difficult situation. He has been polite, helpful and has communicated well and been on hand when needed. I will be using Move and Steve in any future ventures that I may have.

Negative experience: This company are intentionally profiting from a failed referencing process. An agreement was signed which states that unless false or misleading information was given by the tenant, the holding deposit would be refunded. No false information was provided at any point, however despite this Tammy the manager was unproffessional and unhelpful to resolve our frustrations on the misleading and deceptive document and the issue remains unresolved! I have attached the wording below which was signed in good faith that the deposit would be refunded, if for any reason it didn't work out, through no fault of our own. How the Holding Deposit will be dealt with In accordance with TFA 2019 please note your Holding Deposit will be retained in any of the following circumstances: • If at any time before the Deadline for Agreement you decide you do not want to enter into a tenancy agreement. • If you provide false or misleading information to the landlord or us and the landlord decides not to enter into a tenancy agreement with you. • If you fail to take reasonable steps to enter into a tenancy agreement before the Deadline for Agreement. • If you fail any of the checks which the Landlord is required to undertake under the Immigration Act 2014.
