Fantastic experience: We purchased our house through M&W and the process was managed by Laura who couldn’t have been more helpful through the process. Her constant communication kept all the chain up to date and she handled some challenging solicitor issues throughout. Although we didn't sell our house through M&W, we would use them in the future providing Laura was still there to support us through the process.

Fantastic experience: From the initial booking of a valuation to the valuation itself the service was great. On time, informative and professional. When we authorised them to act on our behalf they took photos in a few days and were on the market in around a week, loved the photos and write up! Being kept informed of the viewings was brilliant and then once sold they gave weekly updates and chased everyone in the chain. Not sure it would of happened if they had not of been so pro active and on the ball with the chain. They really are a super estate agent and can’t recommend enough.

From viewing the house on 24th October to having everything completed by 16th December, the process was impressively smooth and efficient. Although I’m receiving the keys on 30th January due to a chain, the overall handling of the purchase has been outstanding. Fantastic experience: We used Murdock & Wasley recently to both sell a property and purchase a new one. We contacted a few different estate agents at the start of our journey but M&W stood out from the very beginning. Their no pressure, no nonsense approach was what drew us to them. We felt they made the process easy for a couple who don’t massively understand the process and the jargon that comes along with it. Every time we spoke to someone, it was like talking to a friend and you could tell they really cared. The process wouldn’t have felt so stress free if we hadn’t have used M&W. Always so easily contactable, always on the case chasing up anything that was slowing the process and never left us wondering where we were at. There’s no doubt that we’ll return to M&W in future when we sell again - have already recommended to all our family and friends!

Negative experience: All I can say is DON’T buy with Murdock and Wasley, they were just terrible when I was buying a property through them. They were always phoning me asking what was going on with the sale when my solicitor was dealing with everything. They just kept badgering me to the point that they were saying that the property was going back on the market.This happened at least three times, Tiffany was the person who showed me around the property l had asked her to find out details on the property for me because she didn’t know the answers. These were quite simple questions that I had to ask her several times for the answers ie where are the keys to the garage, was the property on a water meter which she said no it wasn’t but since I have brought the property It has turned out that it was. She couldn’t get simple things right, whenever she was showing me around she would roll her eyes and keep looking at the time. I do understand that they have to take instructions off the seller but, but to tell me the seller was difficult and not easy to work with I think is very unprofessional. I did buy the property in the end I can only say that it was a nightmare, even when I went to collect the keys from them when I walked in Tiffany said this is Jane in a smug way. I told one of the owners what a nightmare I had been he was very smug too shrugged his shoulders as If he wasn’t bothered. He didn’t even ask me what the problems were. I would NEVER sell or buy using this estate agent again.

Fantastic experience: Matt helped with sale of our house after another known agent messed up leaving house unlocked while we were away and feed back from them was clients didn't like the bathroom it's past their budget all stuff they can see on photos and knew before visiting. But matt gave us valid feed back and sold out house within a month of having us. We were particularly impressed with Jack Guest from Murdock and Wasley, who showed us a property which was by far the best of those we have seen. Where there was a question he could not answer, he quickly followed up and responded. Matt Wasley was fab from the minute he walked in to my property to advise a price/take photos/get my property on the market and he was so easy to talk to. He answered all my questions and made me feel at ease throughout the whole process. Matt Rhodes was easy to communicate with as he did my property viewings and was professional throughout.
