Since then, I've also rented a flat through them and was impressed by how responsive and efficient Siobhan and Alastair in the Lettings Team were. Earlier this year, I purchased a house with their help as well, and Sally and Matt from the Sales Team were excellent—prompt with follow-ups and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Negative experience: My fiancée enquired about a property that you had for let in Woodgreen before it was even listed online as we saw the to let sign go up. So we rang up straight away and we were told that we would be put down for a viewing and they would call to let us know when they were doing them. My partner then called again two days later to follow up for a viewing and he was told they still didn’t know when they were doing viewings but would probably be the following week but we would be guaranteed one. So we waited and then received a email a few days later saying they have had an offer on the property and were not taking anymore viewings. Considering we were the first to call before the house was even listed online and we didn’t even get a chance to view it and was guaranteed a viewing is very un professional and rude so I do recommend to avoid very rude.

Negative experience: Maintenance issues are ignored and neglected. The staff who work at M&M will literally will yell at you if you raise concerns to them. Very concerning approach to clients. I could not recommend them to anyone given my negative personal experience.

Negative experience: Don’t use them! They are very slow to process. As an estate agent, they are very charming and helpful to start with but they didn’t sell the property. They sent an agent for a viewing , who had no knowledge about the property.

Everything from the key transfer at the start to the final inspection (which was done very profesionally!) was handled with great care and attention to the customer. The service was great as I always got a response within two days to any quiry. Contracts were handled transparent and the communication and documenation was good. Fixes to the property were conducted fast without bureacratic forms or what not, just quick and in good trust. Fantastic experience: We rented a property through Myddelton & Major for 2 and a half years with no problems whatsoever. Really helpful through the viewing and contract process, as well as the move in. During our tenancy they were always quick to respond to any maintenance issues, which was done through a simple and helpful online portal. They also gave us good warning for any works and checks that were required. Our moving out experience was equally smooth, with the deposit agreed and returned very quickly. Particular thanks go to Harriet and Sarah, who were always on hand to help us out when needed. I would definitely recommend using Myddelton & Major.

Fantastic experience: We originally used M&M for probate purposes and then after for the sale of the family home. In all aspects the staff of M&M were very professional, efficient and courteous. We were very happy with the overall service and would happily use them again and recommend to others. At the end of the process, I can't remember all the names involved but we had a lot of interaction with Jack Stredwick and his team, all of whom were excellent.

Fantastic experience: Myddelton & Major - specifically Jack Stredwick - were absolutely brilliant, and I can't recommend him/them highly enough. I was moving from London to Salisbury, and my mortgage broker-recommended conveyancing warehouse were dreadful, non-responsive and slow, asking for the same things twice etc. Jack recommended a local firm whom he had worked with before, and the difference was chalk and cheese. Our sale took the best part of six months to complete due to problems further up the chain (with a conveyancing warehouse someone else was using), but Jack was on top of it from start to finish. He really impressed us by knowing all of the addresses, buyer names, estate agents and solicitors in the chain, and he really drove the process to try and get us to the point of exchange. He even fielded calls and chased other parties while he was on a rare holiday abroad - that truly is dedication! I would absolutely, 100% recommend Jack at Myddelton Major, and when/if we do move house again, I will absolutely be using Jack to sell.

As we were between purchases we only required a 6 month let but Siobhan was excellent matching us with a very popular property they were representing. Fantastic experience: Interactions with estate agents are often either stressy or tedious! The former because you're trying to rent a place or because something vital has broken (like the boiler!); the latter because some safety check or property inspection needs to be done again. Or indeed both because we're dealing with e.g. utility companies of less than stellar competence (she says from several such experiences!). But I've always found the team at M&M to be professional, friendly and helpful despite everything. Particular applause today for Siobhan who wasn't prepared to settle for British Gas's service contract offer of (online) December or (on the phone) next week, but on her own initiative pushed them into paying for someone else to come and fix said boiler *today* as they should have been able to do.
