Barnard Marcus Estate Agents Hayes

Positive experience: This is a long overdue review as the sale of my property completed in February 2023. I was trying to sell my property early 2022 with another estate agent who did not really help and were constantly trying to encourage me to reduce the selling price of my property as well as not providing the level of service I expected. So after ending my contract with them, I decided to go with Barnard Marcus, out of the handful of estate agents I contacted, after speaking with the manager, Jed. Richard, whom I liaised with the most, as well as other agents, were getting a lot of viewings booked in (in comparison to the previous estate agent) and keeping me updated all the time instead of me having to chase. I felt they were offering a great level of service and proactive in helping me sell my property, which I really appreciated, even if the viewings did not result in reasonable offers from potential buyers or any offers. This was what I was looking for from an estate agent. Finally, after a few months of persistent viewings, I had a reasonable offer from a buyer whom I also really liked (because she loved my cats!) so I accepted the offer she put forward. I can’t recommend the team at Barnard Marcus enough especially Richard who was really excellent, even helping to follow up during the legal process to exchanging and completion when I heard nothing.

Fantastic experience: The service I received from Amirah at the Hayes branch was outstanding. She patiently and diligently advised my partner and I of our mortgage options and explained everything great detail. She answered our endless queries in a way that was easy to understand and more importantly managed to find rates which were significantly lower than the 2 previous brokers I had contacted (not from Bernard Marcus). I will most definitely be recommending Amirah’s services to everyone I know and will be using her for any future (re)mortgage applications! Honestly thanks for making a stressful process a calm and painless experience Amirah.

Positive experience: Amirah is the best most reliable person in Barnard marcus, very helpful and understanding and good communication. As a mortgage broker she gave a very good service rather than any other staff from Barnard marcus.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from her and explains everything clearly and she gives me a sense of being well looked after.

Fantastic experience: I can only be truthful in my review regarding the service I have received from Barnard Marcus to date. Jed & Ebony (Hayes Branch) has been fantastic and friendly in assisting me with the sale of my property. I recommend this Estate Agent to anyone wanting to sell their property.

Fantastic experience: Really helpful professional broker and staff! Handled the process as smooth as possible and we got there to move on next stage.

Fantastic experience: Sam is very helpful and knowledgeable about the property market, always follow up queries and go above and beyond to help. Great service!

Fantastic experience: One of the best agents I came across in my house hunt. Sam was at his best presenting me the property I inquired about which made me finalise my decision on it. He also introduced me to thier inhouse mortgage facility. I am also pleased with Amirah who patiently worked out the best mortgage deal for me and also explained to me all the procedures involved... I would highly recommend Bernard Marcus Hayes and the team as they are supportive and the best agent I came across.

Fantastic experience: Amirah was helpful and supportive as we initially discussed my options before assisting me expertly every step of the way with my remortgage and helping me choose the right product for my needs. She was patient with me as I took time to make up my mind and unfailingly professional throughout the process, reassuring me whenever I had questions or concerns. Just heard from her this morning that my mortgage was approved today so thanks again for all the hard work getting it across the line.

Fantastic experience: The viewing was arranged

Negative experience: horrible and incompetent service. they wasted six months buy pressuring us to sell via auction, six months later still not sold, they cost me my house as i needed the funds from this sale, but as listed the bidding very close to final reserve, nobody bid..spoke to them today, they diddn't even apologise so i wrote this review to warn other sellers..

Fantastic experience: Shivendra Singh was our mortgage advisor and he was really helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing our property. As first time buyers, there was a lot we didn't know however he made sure to explain every thing in detail every step of the way. He definitely went the extra mile for us and we appreciate and recommend his service.

Fantastic experience: We received a very professional service from Zac and his team highly recommend.

Negative experience: Extortionate prices!!!

Fantastic experience: Having been messed around by another local agent for 6 weeks, I had 2 months to sell my property before Christmas, with very little faith in meeting this tight deadline. Zac exceeded my expectations in booking dozens of viewings and secured an excellent offer after day 2 of viewings. Zoe was exceptional in reassuring me and providing regular updates throughout the process. I am delighted to say that today, I have sold my property in under 2 months, despite all the potential delays due to Covid. A big thanks to the Hayes team and wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Fantastic experience: I recently purchased a property as a first time buyer with the Hayes branch. As a first time buyer it was daunting, however, from obtaining a mortgage via Bijal to the support from the solicitors throughout the process I felt I was in very capable and safe hands. When I needed reassurance, it was provided by Zac and the team. I highly recommend purchasing through Barnard Marcus and will be using their services moving forward.

Fantastic experience: I had recently visited Barnard and Marcus for my mortgage and really appreciate their excellent customer service and fast pace of working with customer Specially Bijal and Zoe.Much appreciate

Fantastic experience: I have just purchased a property through Barnard Marcus and my experience has been great. As a first time buyer I was completely unfamiliar with the whole process but the estate agents made it very easy. Special thanks to Bijal and Julie who were always quick to respond to any questions I had and guided me through all the steps in the process. If you're looking to sell or buy a property in Hillingdon I would highly recommend going through Barnard Marcus.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend using Bernard Marcus Hayes estate agents to sell or buy your property, just sold a house through them and can not fault their work, they are reliable, professional, honest and trustworthy people. They did everything they could to make us feel at ease whilst selling the house. A big thanks to Zac who is exceptional and helped us the whole way through it

Fantastic experience: My previous experiences with estate agents hadn’t been very good at all so I was a bit wary but I shouldn’t have been. Bernard Marcus are unlike any other estate agents. Zac was amazing he was professional, knowledgeable, and it actually felt like he really cared. He went above and beyond to help and advice us. All the employees that I had any contact with were polite and helpful. Selling a house is such a stressful experience it really made all the difference having an estate agents that you can rely on and that you can trust. I would definitely recommend Bernard Marcus.

Fantastic experience: We would highly recommend the mortgage broker Bijal as she really went out her way to help us find the best mortgage deal and kept us updated. She is friendly and very professional and we will definitely use her services again.

Fantastic experience: We used there in house broker service, the lady called Bijal provided a great service in helping and guiding us on attaining a mortgage suitable for us. She was helpful throughout the process, quick to respond. English isn’t my dads first language so she really went out of her way to make him understand certain things. She also helped him liaise with solicitors. Would highly recommend her in finding a Mortgage.

Fantastic experience: Bijal the mortgage broker is brilliant, very friendly and extremely helpful, she goes out of her way to help, highly recomend her.

Fantastic experience: We did sold our property with barnard marcus. We were very knew not too sure what to expect. The first day Zack came see us and i knew we where in good hands. Zack and Aqib is the best duo. They were more than our Estate agent they guide all through it got us a good buyer and Lawyers just really professional. My husband and I really appreciate there hard work and we really recommend them. Thanks guy a job well done!!

Fantastic experience: Bijal Solgoma was my mortgage advisor from Barnard Marcus.she is very friendly, responsive and professional. I had some issue with my Credit history, but she did a fantastic work to find me a lender with good rates.

Fantastic experience: My experiences with Barnard's, Zac and his team in Hayes started while I was trying to buy a property in the area. I used different agents before looking around and making offers and i felt treated just like a number by them with no interest what so ever to help me. However, Zac, Aqib and Bijal made sure they gain my trust from day 1 and provided the best advice and guidance so far. They found me a much better property, in the area I wanted and within the budget I had in mind. Definitely recommending them to anyone else as it was a quick, smooth process and they focussed on both the seller and myself to make it all work and to keep both parties happy. I had several meetings with the team, viewings whenever I needed to and also their professional but personal touch made me feel comfortable using Bernard's especially after the sour taste I had in my mouth from previous experiences with the other agencies. Their team takes full control of the process and in 7 weeks since I've put an offer, the whole process is complete. I was worried the pandemic might delay it, but Barnards made sure all went perfect! Can't wait to get my keys!

Fantastic experience: Great estate agents who work hard to seal a good deal for you Zac and his team are highly professional and also warm and friendly which puts you at ease and work hard to support you in selling

Fantastic experience: I recently purchased a property through Barnard Marcus, they put in touch with an exceptional mortgage advisor Bijal! I am a first time buyer and I could honestly say I've never felt so comfortable and confident in going through a big decision. From the very beginning of the process till the end, she has gone above and beyond in helping me and ensuring I get the best value out of the products and services offered. I could even speak to her about non mortgage related issues, she has helped to progress the purchasing process for me when things have not moved as quickly as expected. I'm glad to have come across her and will definitely take her services with me in future. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank the team at Barnard Marcus Hayes, the team were amazing, totally kept us in the loop, completely reassured us when we had any questions or doubts, the solicitors they recommended were also top quality, Zac Talic was clearly in the know and was very honest and realistic. Aqib also turned up at our 7 viewings on the first day to help his colleague, very polite and professional so thank you for sealing the deal for us. Never thought a sale could be turned around this quick. So well done guys. Would highly recommend you guys to friends and family. Was a pleasure dealing with Zac and his team. Thank you so very much. Barnard Marcus all day long for me.

Fantastic experience: Really pleased with the service they have provided Really happy with Zac especially he give me realistic price for my property and was very honest from the beginning and managed to sell my house very quickly Thank you Zac

Negative experience: Beware! Avoid these agents at all costs. I tried to sell my property with these agents. They over priced my property to get me to sign a contract. Then after 2 weeks and one viewing pressured me to reduce the price by 20k. when I said no it is ok early days. They stopped all viewings and even ignored my phone calls and emails. The manager of the Hayes branch is called Zac and from Croatia. I am convinced that he treated me this way because I have dark skin. If you are white you should have no problem. But as a black professional this is my experience of the hayes branch.

Negative experience: on day of Appraisal for my property no one came from Barnard Marcus,no communication nor any response afterwards too. Very Dispointed, very bad service, not a professional service.

Fantastic experience: Bijal is a great asset to your hayes branch! Super helpful and assisted me throughout the whole journey! Would definitely be recommending to my friends and family Thanks again

Fantastic experience: Wow! Although Zac, the Branch Manager mentioned that our property would sell quickly we really didn't expect such a professional and timely service. Aqib, the negotiator did an incredible job setting up over 20 viewings and his professionalism and quality work ethic, secured a successful offer within 24 hours of their viewing. Bijal, the Mortgage Manager was extremely professional and in no time had arranged and agreed the buyer their mortgage in principal. What an incredible team and if you are looking to buy or sell your home in Hayes I would thoroughly recommend these guys.
