Fantastic experience: Almost 3 years on the market and 5 High Street State Agent could not do what Shaws of London has done. We are well impress with the dedication of the team and pulling up miracle after another going the extra mile just to make our dreams come true. We are now in residing Canada and without Talvir and the team we would still be paying our mortgage, interest, council tax etc. which was slowly draining our savings. Fantastic experience: Talvir was based at the uxbridge office. He gave me a great impression from the start. Almost on a personal level mage me feel like i was his only cust. Came with all the clients who he showed the house and gave me feedback after every viewing he evan befriended my dog which made me feel super at esse. When we hit a rocky situstion talvir and his office manager both got involved and the service only got better. I could not recommend them highly enough. Thank you tal and kam for being patient and straight up with us.

Fantastic experience: After being with a useless Local Agent for 10 years. Having past Tenant issues which led to spending 20k on a refurbishment on a House. I did not want to use a Local Agent but Shaws of London (Rav) where very supportive and understood my requirements to the smallest detail. Found me decent tenants also carried out very thorough checks which made me gain faith again in Agents. Fantastic experience: I went to Shaws following the collapse of my chain at another estate agent. Rav and Kam were brilliant as were the whole team, In the last couple of weeks Kam worked particularly hard to get the sale through following issues with an old enforcement on my new property. Through Kam’s hard work she got all the parties involved to agree a date to aim for which helped to speed up all the solicitors. On the day of the move I had problems misplacing keys but again Kam was able to deal with the buyers enabling me to access the property. Negative experience: I am extremely disappointed with the service from this agency. There is a property next door, managed by them, that is overcrowded and ongoing fire safety concerns. I reported the issue directly to the agent, but despite repeated notifications, no action was taken to address the situation. This lack of responsiveness and disregard for the impact on neighbouring residents reflects very poorly on their professionalism and responsibility as a letting agent

Negative experience: Although we received full rent every month but when we carried a inspection we noticed extra matresses stack up in a small bedrooms. When we raised this with the agent and they said they would have a word with the tenants. Months later when we questioned the estate agent they said the tenants need to survive and they maybe renting rooms. We won't happy with the response as this sounded a little fishy as we felt the estate agent was part of all this. We decided to not to renew the contact, and the tenants vacated the premises, it was felt dirty ,fixtures & fittings were broken, alot of damages to the the doors and walls. We obviously didn't return the deposit however this wasn't enough to compensate for the damages. The agent failed to collect 1 extra weeks of deposit when the tenancy contract was renewed. Also, the agent forgot to carry out a thorough inspection every 6months.

Negative experience: A friend of mine used to live in a property managed by this estate agent, and he told me it was extremely overcrowded. He raised the issue with the agent but nothing was done to improve the situation. He has since moved out, but it's disappointing that the concerns were ignored. I wouldn’t recommend this agency based on what he experienced.

Negative experience: I viewed a property and was very interested, so I called immediately after the viewing to ask about the next steps. I was told the manager would get back to me soon regarding reference and next steps as they needed to inform the landlord/client. After hearing nothing, I followed up with an email on an update regarding the process and received a call a few hours after informing me the property had already been let. I was one of the first to enquire and view the property, yet no one followed up with me as promised. Very disappointing experience.

Negative experience: Where to begin. Firstly listing a property for sale with tenants in situ without including this any of information on Zoopla or their own website. Offer put in Jan 15th via email regardless seeing as the property met my requirements. Was told that it would take a few weeks to get back to me. Told on the phone today that an offer was accepted above asking. Fair enough. When was Shaw's planning to let me know that my offer was turned down instead of leaving me in a limbo? No updates or nothing from the 15th of Jan. I only found out this information after calling up asking for one. Very disappointed and felt like I was not taken seriously. Will not be using Shaw's services in the future.

Negative experience: I had a terrible experience with this agent as follows. They lied and gave me a late reply by giving me an excuse that the email was in junk box. There is an miscommunication internally. When there was an issue, they asked me opposite things. While I was explaining the situation, they hang up the call shouting “I AM BUSY MONDAY MORNING”. They asked me to vacate the property immediately during this era of housing shortages in June 2023. Will be updating when I’ve got the time.

I have recommended them to a number a people and would go back if needed. Never had a problem with any tenants they placed as they always did their due diligence. I personally dealt with Vik who was always helpful with anything I asked.

Negative experience: Disappointed with Vik, he makes promises to get you to sign the lease agreement, then it's excuses as to why nothing has progressed further. Thank goodness for 6 month break clause, if no progress by then I'm gone from the rental and Shaw & Co.

Negative experience: Where do I begin to start this review, we rented a property from them. We wish we never did… Rental agreement was pushed through very quickly, on day of signing the incorrect contract had been printed and needed to be rectified 3 times in a 10 minute meeting- this is where alarms were raised. We asked regarding issues raised at viewing – ie we were told by Vik the Shed was going to be replaced- still hasn’t almost a year later. We were advised at viewing that any concerns we deal with the agency directly, and given an email address which we followed however when an issue arose were met with hostility and aggressiveness from Renu. We previously dealt with Bailey and she was fantastic, but she had since left. Their contract is not worth the paper they are written on – in their contracts talk about noise from other flats - we raised several complaints over our time at the property and was met with there is nothing they can do, we ended up having to get out the police a number of times and raised complaints with the council. It wasn’t until we started looking for another flat that we were told by several different real estate agents they had previously rented out the flat and knew how bad the insulation was between flats and was the reason why only 6month contracts were given as most leave before then and in good faith they couldn’t keep people in their contract. Vik does not follow their own contracts– it is clearly stated in their contract any access to the property is required to give 2 days notice – he tried to breach this on a number of occasions and then would get aggressive in phone calls and whatsapp messages. – I had to block him from whatsapp after telling him this was not my method of contact. Again contracts state funds would be returned on day of keys given back – failed to do so, and this is when they told us we had to provide evidence all bills were paid up to date- as requested by the landlord – after going back and forth I requested a copy of their complaints procedure as no where in our contract stated this was the case- again was told by Renu there isn’t one and I can just tell her.. We then called their other branch and given the complaint procedure and who to email. We were at this point told that shaw and co do not manage the property and regarding the deposit to contact the owner – we contact his son as the owner was out of the country, we contacted his son, advised on bills and funds were returned to us in 3 days, after we have been contacting shaw and co for weeks to get this resolved
