Compared to previous agencies I have rented with, the team has been so friendly, approachable, professional and genuinely helpful, which made what can often be a stressful process feel really easy. The team have always been quick to respond to emails and had good communication. Jason, the owner, took time to show me around the property on the move-in day including showing me where fire and carbon monoxide alarms are, explaining how to use the boiler and what to do if radiators are not working. I have not experienced this level of attention and care from previous agencies! I'm grateful for how smooth and positive my experience has been so far, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Davies Properties to anyone looking to rent/have their property managed. I keep waiting for the usual rental chaos, but nope… everything just works. The team is super friendly and always quick to help. They’re on it. Have a random question? (trust me i had loads )They reply before you’ve even put the kettle on. It’s been refreshing to deal with people who are organised, approachable, and actually seem to care about their tenants. Fantastic experience: We had an excellent experience with Davies Properties and honestly couldn’t recommend them more. Jason Davies came to value our home and was never pushy at all. He was incredibly friendly, approachable, and reassuring — it felt more like helpful advice than a sales pitch. As a small, boutique estate agent, he made it clear we’d be dealing with him personally throughout the sale, rather than being passed around like with larger agencies, which gave us real confidence. His fee was also very reasonable compared to other quotes we received. Once we decided to sell, the communication was outstanding. We were first-time sellers, so we had a lot of questions, but Jason never made us feel like a bother. He set up a WhatsApp group with us and replied quickly every time, often with detailed voice notes that explained everything clearly and step by step. He also sent short video updates every few days with insights on how the sale was progressing. He handled and organised all the viewings, which made the process completely stress-free for us. When offers started coming in, Dianne was brilliant. She handled everything smoothly, negotiated on our behalf, and secured the best possible price for us. We accepted an offer after just three weeks. After we found a buyer, Dianne took over the admin side of the sale. She was incredibly organised and proactive. Even when issues came up (including some challenges with the buyer), she would often inform us that they had already been resolved. She kept in touch with our buyer, our solicitor, and others in the chain, and we received a clear progress update by email every Friday. Throughout the whole process, we felt completely looked after. The sale went as smoothly as it possibly could have, and that’s down the team at Davies Properties being so on the ball, responsive, and supportive. Amazing service, great value for money, and a genuinely personal touch from start to finish.

Negative experience: Poor, really poor. Rented a house in Haworth from them for a long time. Loved the house but they use terrible contractors for repairs. Getting anything done was extremely difficult. You might as well have done it yourself. Give you an example. I reported a wasps nest next to my bedroom and the wasps getting in the house. Their "experts" Airedale pest control didn't want to come out and actually laughed at me down the phone telling me i definitely didn't have wasps as it was too early. Next day they came. Got rid of the WASPS...I kept that receipt with WASPS written on it like a badge of honour and emailed it to Jason Davies . Oh i did laugh EDIT. Forgot to add, also saw their litte noddy car parked in the taxi rank space. Got a photo of it . Shame i can't put it here

Fantastic experience: I have had three opportunities to sell property through Davies Properties staring late 2022 and concluding end October 2024. On each occassion, the viewers and buyers were found within a matter of days, with offers being just as quickly. On each of the three occasions, Jason, Dianne & Callum acted very professionally, with courtesy and friendliness. Communications were frequent and fully informative, even through those periods where those other agencies handling the legal matters made mistakes and otherwise delayed progress. It is this level of dedication to the personal touch, levels of service and customer satisfaction that I have found outstanding and I must add it sets this firm on a pedestal compared to those big, brash, soleless firms that appear on TV or have big glossy adverts. Fantastic experience: We had an appraisal for a potential house sale yesterday which was very capably carried out by Jason. He arrived on time and was instantly recognisable from his personal whatsapp videos that he used to introduce to us himself, his team, and his office. And it seems whatsapp will be used as the main communication channel going forward although there is telephone too. The appraisal was in two stages. One is a tour around the house, and the other a presentation based on his research offering more information about his business, market conditions, etc. Followed by a discussion on suitability, packaging and pricing, and what happens next. We both found this process pleasant and his manner agreeable and professional. He took time to explain the differences in approach compared to other agents, was unrushed and attentive, and was sensitive to our particular needs on the day and in planning going forward. So far, so good.

A friend had recommended Davies Properties when my family was in desperate need to move house urgently, due to the damp and mould in our previous house that affected our children's health, as well as our bad experience with the agents of same house. We needed to get a very good property with an EPC rating of at least C, we wanted a professional agent, with outstanding work ethic. So, following the recommendations, I simply called Davies Properties, spoke to Dianne, said what we needed and the urgency too. She was very supportive and the enquiry was really stress-free and straightforward. We got a convenient chance to view the property by the weekend, and Callum was simply the most courteous and supportive agent I ever met. The whole process, including referencing was strict and detailed, very fair, and really quick. We were very happy to meet Jason, who offered a warm welcome and great reassurance. Thanks to Davies Properties, our children, in particular, now have a safe home. We're very happy and most thankful. We highly recommend Davies Properties, just test and see for yourself.

Davies Lettings were thorough from booking the original viewing, to the viewing and knowledge of the property and the area. The vetting process was thorough and this will give reassurance to the landlord that the tenant they choose has been vetted to ensure they will look after the property and pay the rent on time. During my time at the property some issues have occurred. The agent have worked quickly to get the issues resolved in a speedy manner and to a satisfactory conclusion. I find the staff courteous and knowledgeable whenever I call. Whether you're a landlord or looking to rent a property I highly recommend that you give Davies Lettings a call. Negative experience: Rang with a query regarding the property managed by Davies which is next door to me. I have in the past spoken to Jason Davies himself and he was lovely and very professional however the same cannot be said for the lady who answered the phone in his office she was rude and aggressive and not at all professional I ended up hanging up the phone in frustration as she made me feel that upset and shall be taking up all further enquires with the landlord directly.
