Negative experience: Don’t use. Poor service and not willing to help my property get to exchange. Estate agent that sold my property left their business and the other estate agents are not interested in helping my sale reach exchange. Last week to exchange & completion and no interest to help the process. They have done near to nothing to help the process. I won’t use again. Poor attitude when I call their office and make me feel like they are doing me a favour for just talking to me. Still waiting on a response from my recent call I made in the last 24hrs. Nothing heard. Only response is on the reviews. More interested in their image then their actual service…

Negative experience: I understand that you are obliged to include details of leases on your marketing of flats - you don’t. Without this vital info it’s impossible to know if a flat appeals or not. You have also decided you have the right to charge fees to buyers, which is unjust. The seller pays you. We do not chose you, we are not your customers. Due to the above, I avoid this agent.

I was impressed with Sophie from the first appointment. She had done her research and had various information for me. However they really came into their own towards the end of the process when some issues to do with solicitors dow the chain threatened the success of the sale. Negative experience: Had a disappointing experience with White and Brooks. First, they proposed the sale price and then failed to sell my house after being tied into a 20 week contract. After the first few weeks of being tied in they started suggesting I reduce the price - which I did. Then there were the constant phonecalls: weekly updates to say the market was flat and suggesting a price review, phonecalls to book viewings, phonecalls to confirm viewings and phonecalls with feedback. There was too much contact for someone who works away especially after I asked them to stop. I changed to a new estate agent that has no contractual tie in and also a lot cheaper with less phonecalls.

Fantastic experience: Always friendly and always kept us informed. We bought and sold through White and Brooks. At the viewing stage they always checked we could make an appointment. Once deals had been struck they were very helpful in keeping us informed with good explanations . In many ways a service above that we have ever received from an estate agent in the past. Fantastic experience: I have bought & sold many times, this was my 12th purchase. All were properties I lived in. The conveyancing process has changed beyond recognition since my first purchase over 40 years ago - what is deemed "progress" has actually become a very stressful situation with everyone involved "litigationinfluenced". I found White & Brooks the exception. Some of the agents I encountered in my search lied to me, never gave answers to simple questions, I ended up doing background research on each property I was interested in. You were just a means to an end. White & Brooks hand held me throughout the process, any queries I had were answered swiftly, any part of the ever-changing process I didn't understand was explained clearly. Getting to exchange was fraught but that was the solicitors - too many egos involved, too much splitting hairs. Would I use White & Brooks were I to sell my property in the future - most definitely.

I was able to take a video to show my wife who also loved it but wanted a viewing for herself which the agent Rhianna organised. We ended up coming back at the end of the day for a final visit before we put in our offer. Rhianna helped us along the whole journey and even came to let us view the property multiple more times before the sale was eventually completed.
