Negative experience: Trying to arrange a viewing for a sale is like pulling teeth. Poor seller, no wonder it is not shifting on the market. Asked for details over 3 weeks ago and still nothing. This is appalling service.

Negative experience: Dear Lord! Where do I start. Honestly, I’ve never known a company to be so shambolic and disorganised. I asked to view a property, it took 3 days of trying to call and email. I had to physically walk into the office. The calls don’t go through to the office they’re answered by people abroad. Despite this I agreed to view a the house in Tettenhall a couple of days later. 1 hour before the viewing they cancelled stating the cleaners had the keys and couldn’t access it. On the Monday they still hadn’t called so I went to the office where we stood waiting outside the locked office while two members of staff where inside. Finally got to view, however despite explaining the urgency they showed me a property that hadn’t been cleaned (so what the cleaners were doing with the keys I have no idea) the kitchen cupboard draws were falling off, the oven door hinges were broken and dangerous. Essentially, the property wasn’t ready nor did they have a date to make it ready. I asked to view another property - again on the day of viewing 1 hour before I get cancelled and asked to move the time as staff were off sick. I moved my day around and visited the property at the newly arranged time. Again!!! It wasn’t ready - carpets needing changing and the bloomin ceiling in one of the bedrooms had fallen in - literally half of the ceiling was on the floor. I understand things aren’t always straightforward, however this was ridiculous. I was a tad naive having never rented. Mortgage lenders can agree to led hundred of thousands in minutes so I didn’t realise renting includes layers of red tape. However, the first thing is viewing which should be the easiest bit and these folks really didn’t make that part easy. They’ve wasted our time for almost 2 weeks when we urgently needed to move due to selling our house and exchanging and other plans having fallen through. Twice we went to the office to find it locked while staff casually chatted leaving us waiting outside. Thankfully - Yourmove, Dixons and Northwood all responded rapidly and had us viewing properties within 45 minutes or a few hours later! Tenancy accepted within 1 hour of application - lovely, clean and READY to move into home in a lovely area on a quiet cul-de-sac. My advice - if you want a straightforward transaction from a professional company that employs people who care, act professionally and don’t waste your time, and have properties ready to move into please don’t waste time with CON-centric. The first 3 letters making the case in point.

Negative experience: My Family rented a flat from Wolverhampton Concentric and Sales Lettings for 3.5 years, always paid on time and left the property clean and well-kept. Despite this, at the end of tenancy, the landlord and Concentric Property Management tried to pocket more than 90% from my deposit, including charges for a brand-new upgraded mattress and a new full flooring replacement, even though both were used and marked at check-in. What was even more absurd was that, they tried to claim money for expenditures that was solely landlord/ agent maintenance issues! Eventhough, the check-out report confirmed the property was left in “generally good condition with a good domestic clean,” yet they still pushed for maximum deductions. Emails even showed the agent encouraging the landlord to claim full/partial amounts, assuring them that, they will claim my deposits for them. This felt like a deliberate attempt to take advantage rather than apply fair wear and tear. We went through TDS dispute and thankfully almost 80% of my money was returned as Landlord and Concentric claims were inflated, inconsistent, and unjustified. If I hadn’t fought it, I would have lost most of my deposit. Warning to future tenants: • Take detailed photos at check-in and check-out. • Do not rely on their “professional recommendations”—they pushed for deductions regardless of condition. • Be prepared to challenge inflated claims, because fairness does not seem to be their priority. It has been a very stressful and disappointing experience at the end of the tenancy for my family. I would not recommend based on how the whole tenancy and the deposit process was handled. ZERO STARS!!!!

Negative experience: Unfortunately, I cannot give zero stars to Concentric Sales and Lettings Wolverhampton they deserve less than zero. I was a tenant with them and it has been frustrating from the very beginning of the tenancy right through to after it ended. The viewing was with a lovely lady, but that was the last bit of loveliness I experienced. Repairs that were marked as urgent on their Fixflo app often took weeks, sometimes more than a month, and I had to constantly chase for updates. They simply didn’t care. Now that the tenancy is over, they are trying to pocket almost all of my deposit for so called damages, even though we took very good care of the property. To any tenant thinking of going with them good luck, you’ll need it. UPDATE: After our tenancy ended, things got even worse. Despite leaving the property clean and well-kept, Concentric and the landlord tried to keep almost all of my deposit, even claiming for a brand new upgraded mattress and full flooring replacement that were already used and marked at check-in. They even included items that were clearly landlord maintenance issues. Shockingly, emails later showed that the agent was actively encouraging the landlord to claim full or partial amounts from my deposit, even offering to help them “get quotes” to justify it. This made it clear the process was never about fairness, but about taking as much as possible. The independent check-out report confirmed the flat was in “generally good condition with a good domestic clean,” yet they still pushed for the maximum deductions. I took the case to the TDS dispute service and thankfully recovered almost 80% of my deposit, as their claims were proven inflated and unjustified. A stressful and disappointing end to an already poor experience. Future tenants, if you must rent through them, please be cautious, save every email, and document EVERYTHING.I cannot Stress this enough, TAKE PICTURES and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING!!!

They are very knowledgeable and professional, the sessions are more than just informative, they are clearly very well researched, detailed, careful with advice and helpful in answering questions. This really is a must for all landlords and vendors. Plus Ali also offers a free lettings health check-up which is similarly very professional. It is this level of service which convinces me that they really know what they are doing and that their services in sales and lettings are worth employing. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Negative experience: Quite possibly the most shambolic company I have ever had the misfortune to come into contact with. My partner used them for a number of years whilst letting a property and despite numerous concerns raised they just simply did not care. We have taken the property off them and even that was a farce as they couldn’t find the keys initially so it took 2 attempts and 3 phone calls and 2 emails. Avoid!

Fantastic experience: I attended the quarterly update last night on the conference call. As a local landlord I found the content was relevant and excellent. It prompted a lot of interactions with the folks attending which was encouraging. Dawn wasn't well with a head cold but carried on regardless for the full two hours. It was my first time on one of these calls but it most certainly won't be my last and I highly recommend it to fellow landlords.

Negative experience: Only had one viewing time available for a property. No problem, I’ll just call them. Well—actually, you can’t call them ? They just text you a link to the same form. No problem, I’ll just send them an email. No reply after 5 days ! Even just a “no” would’ve sufficed. The lack of communication/inability to reach them is such a red flag. If they’re this bad at communication while I’m offering them £££, imagine how bad they’ll be as soon as I need my rental fixed due to a water leak/etc. Every few days I would get an unwanted spam email from them (calling me ‘miss’ for some reason) asking me to sign up for the viewing. This just annoyed me even more. Woke me up by calling me in the morning a week before the sole viewing date (which I never registered to go to) telling me it’s been agreed to a let. What a joke, lol. I feel bad for the people who actually booked time off just to attend this viewing. Decided already that I’m never going to let with Concentric. I’m tired of letting agencies that collect rent, sign leases, and nothing else. Terrible communication, and seems like they’d leave you in a flooded house for a week before thinking of sending someone to fix a pipe.

Positive experience: I find it really useful with the webinar/ chat sessions. Ali was impartial and honest with the 'tenant health check' with useful information I will be using for tenants.

Negative experience: At the end of tenancy, they don't respond to emails regarding the return of the deposit, TDS also didn't get any response from them , poor communication and poor service , not what you'd expect after renting from them for over 10 years .

I was kept well informed the whole time, it was a very smooth and stress free process. Negative experience: Avoid like the plague. Asked for a viewing then 2 days later was told they had an offer accepted so cancelled the viewing. Im fine with this but I was told they had sent me emails and tried calling as if to pin on me that I was slow to respond. A blatant lie. The property hadn’t sold in 6 months either. Untrustworthy agency and that’s me being polite.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Concentric since 1997 to source and reference tenants for my rental properties and have always received nothing but top quality service and advice. Their regular landlord meetings are invaluable and keep me up to date with the seemingly never ending regulations. Used them this year to sell two of my rental properties. One was sold in 3 weeks and the other was sold yesterday by Jordan and it had only been on the market for 48 hours !! What can I say incredible. Highly recommended sales and letting agent.

Negative experience: The latest 2 negative reviews I agree with, one being from a landlord aswell! Absolutely DISGUSTED with the level of customer service. I have dealt with 4 different advisors, over the phone and via email. They rescheduled my viewing at Hazara House Wolverhampton TWICE saying the tenant was ill and what not, and TODAY, the 19th August I was told I would get a video sent across to me even though I was told they can't send a video, funny that because the other guy told me on the phone I would get a video. I emailed 3 times, won't mention no names, and I got ignored. Let me guess they not getting back to me because they want to quickly rent out the property, well you should get back to people when you give them viewings and say you will send them a video. 3 weeks I've been waiting!!! I then rang today in the afternoon and spoke to TWO advisors who took down my number and said the usual 'sorry no one got back to you" 3 weeks I waited! I won't bother replying to emails after they read this email, seen as though they've ignored my emails 3 times already. No matter how busy you are GET BACK TO US AT LEAST. The other letting agents always email me back and let me know even if I have not been successful. Forget these lot I'll go with someone else What a joke

Negative experience: We've tried several times to view properties with this agent and they don't call back to make any arrangements. We haven't experienced a good service at all for buying a property so it can't be all that good for sellers either.

Negative experience: I am a landlord and Concentric was managing our property. Now we want to terminate the management contract. We were told that there’s a termination fee, which was expected, however the termination fee appears to be 1.5 times of the monthly rent, which is basically equivalent to a year worth of management service charges which is itself 12% of the monthly rent. Concentric is not going to carry out any works around the property or any works at all, it is some admin time that will be needed. And we would understand if the termination fee would be attached to Concentric service charges. But no, it appears that they want a year worth of their charges to be paid by us now. We find it’s a rip off. Landlords, be aware what you are signing, as it seems that Concentric will want your money for every move, and termination will cost you dearly

Negative experience: If you’re looking to sell your house I wouldn’t recommend using these, as a buyer we had a viewing on a property on Thursday, Concentric then rang to cancel the viewing a couple of hours before as they’d double booked their agents. They then rescheduled for the Friday, having waited at the property for them to turn up for the viewing the failed to do so, we contacted them to be told someone is running late so waited another 30 minutes, we then chased again for them to tell us apparently we’d cancelled the viewing ourselves earlier that day, a company of complete liars and mavericks! If you want to sell your house definitely use a different estate agent!

Negative experience: Very disappointed to be fair as they don't explain everything to your from the very start and they need more training them selfs in customer services as homelet are very friendly and concentric propertys are not as friendly as should be.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs!!! Most unprofessional letting agency I have ever come across, I’ve had rats trapped in the vent of my cooker for over 2 months they still won’t do anything, the rats have now died and rotted and as you can imagine I can’t use half of my so called home because of it. On top of that they let themselves In your flat without consent, I had the little Asian girl walk in top of me while I’m sleeping telling me that ‘I’m here to do a viewing’ even tho I have 6 months left on my tenancy!!! 100% agree with the other comments that they pressure you to leave good reviews but luckily I didn’t. DO NOT RENT FROM CONCENTRIC my mental heath has deteriorated since having to live in one of their properties And I do not wish the experience on anyone else.

The agent was waiting for us outside the house, but fasten her seat belt once we came and ran off asking us to rebook. I called to rebook and was told we were looking intimidating

Dawn and Ali provide such a fantastic (free!) service keeping landlords up to date with the state of the market and legislation.
