Negative experience: I wouldn't recommend this letting agency, kinda shady in my experience, waste of time/effort and some money. I paid holding fee and provided every documents needed for referencing within couple of hours after the viewing. Plus they work with a separate vetting company as well. I had to provide same things to them again, and...in order to make the process even faster they required me to use sharing option on my banking application, I thought why not? The whole referencing wasn't finished after 2 weeks, according to them they couldn't reach my landlord/employer. (I gave the correct contact phone numbers on the application for my current landlord and employer, the email addresses were inaccurate. Later on I sent the correct email addresses, but that wasn't enough either. XD) During this 2 week, they contacted me once regarding this matter, I asked my employer to respond asap, which they did. When I tried to call the letting office to get some update after 1 week of waiting, only the voice mail was available, I wrote an email, no response. Second week I wrote another email to ask back my holding deposit. No suprise, Meg called me in 10 minutes, apologise for the referencing process isn't done yet, but it doesn't matter because they're ready to negotiate a moving in day anyway. I told Meg I'm not happy with this situation and I would have my money back. They refused due to the fact, they only issue refund if the landlord not happy with the applicant for some reason. I rented through a lot of agencies since the past 10 years, never had to wait for 2 weeks to be verified and get the process moving. I hope they will spend that holding fee on something nice. I encourage the people who had similar story with them to join me, share the experience, write bad review and try to warn others to avoid this company.

Negative experience: Really bad service, it's been 2.5 months but I haven't received the rental deposit that I have given , no update for months until I mail them.

Negative experience: Every time you ring this office and it goes to the answer phone. They ask you to leave your name; number and a brief message and some one will get back to you. You can wait days you won't get a call back waste of time

Negative experience: Dixons' are selling properties that were renovated without a structural engineer present and correct paperwork. You buy the property where there are no support beams making the property structurally unsafe. Safe escape routes are bricked up and the truth is hidden from you. Once sold you would then have a conveyancer who will tell you it is put the truth is then hidden from you. Therefore, it is better to buy a home that looks like it has been lived in than something that looks pleasing to the eye. These homes will flat pack when heavy furniture has been put in over time. Electrics, gas and other utilities need to be checked. Be careful with what you buy. They need to be checked in advance before purchasing but they want you to buy it first beforehand for you then to be told you won't be able to sell it until you pay a fortune to put it right. Tut tut. They are robbing you of your money.
