Negative experience: Dreadful company. Avoid like plague. Oven replacement cost nearly £1000 cumulatively. Front door lock cumulative bills nearing £600. Never increased guaranteed rental income despite market conditions more favourable. Constant battle to get proper clear advice. Would definitely not recommend at all.

Fantastic experience: Great viewing and follow-up on all my queries was outstanding, and very detailed speedy response.

Negative experience: The service during my stay as a tenant was reasonable other than the fact that their regular inspections feel like you are being examined. However, I have received very poor service on vacating the property - they are very slow to respond with regards to security refund and claimed unreasonable amount from security deposit. Hence the low rating.

Fantastic experience: We viewed a property in Aberdeen just yesterday, 04/12, and our guide from Northwood was Debbie Sharp. We highly appreciated Debbie's approach by providing a brief intro and then giving us freedom to explore the property rather than being solidly guided, which we experienced at other viewings. Debbie created a space for us to sink into the property and come to her with questions when we were ready. We also benefited from the opportunity to discuss it without being constantly watched and to have time to formulate our questions. When we asked questions, Debbie was acknowledged and provided a good insight into the property and also recommended other associated services, e.g. financing. It was a delightful and helpful visit :-).

Negative experience: Total waste of time money and effort. Completely lacking in any level of customer service communication, misleading and inaccurate information given to me. I was told 3 times in 3 separate occasions that the person I needed to speak with was on annual leave!! Even when I complained to the lettings manager nothing changed . They have been trying to rent my apartment for 3 months now, not once have I had any feedback and in 20 years of renting my apartment it’s never been empty until I joined Northwood Aberdeen.
