Negative experience: We have been trying to reach out to CM rent with no luck, the telephone line just keeps going to voicemail, the emails bounced for the two staff we have communicated with before, there's no way to reach CM rent again for enquiry. The response says Connell group, when I called Connels they confirmed they are different from CM rent

Fantastic experience: It was very difficult to find a place to live close to the school before the term start in September. Within a week of our liaison during the end of August with CM, Samantha and her team have helped us find a house fit for the family. CM is stand with us to find a property. After viewing and the owner's approval, we can complete all the complicated documents and procedures within a week, so that the children can go to school happily. The team led by Samantha is professional, patient, considerate and close communicative, which is exactly what CM has delivered. They understand our needs and the urgency. In the future, when we purchase a property for rental purposes, we will hand it over to CM for renting. When I went to my house with the key, I failed to open the door. The manager Samantha immediately arranged for help, it turned out that it was not a problem with the lock or key, but it was a matter of force to twist the door open, and I was touched by the fact that the colleagues who came to help did not complain. We would like to thank you Samantha, Jasmine and Sam for your help and effort. Although there were maintenance issues in the house after moving in, the team immediately arranged for inspection within the week. Even if it is not completely solved now, we think that the maintenance team will inform the landlord about the issues and get his approval for the maintenance job, fix it as soon as possible. We are looking forward to having a lovely place to stay.

I have spent a few years working in Estate Agency and I know a good agent when I meet one, and that is Sam, or Super Sam as I like to call her. Use her and you won't be disappointed.

Negative experience: Pathetic and awful customer service. They promised to move us into a new house on Saturday and we were all packed and ready to move in, then the agent came up with the missing electrical certificate from the landlord. Again made a fake promise that everything would be sorted out on Monday and same drama again. Finally got an email from the manager on Tuesday morning to collect the keys and when we went to collect the keys, she said they needed a few more days since the landlord provided some fake documents. Don't know why they haven't moved against the landlord for submitting the fake documents!! They made us sign the tenancy twice, and we paid the amounts they requested in advance. Such a rude and unprofessional manager.

Negative experience: I have been trying to use the most common sense contact: 1) phone 2) left my details in their website. For a few days there is NO response NO call back. Every time I called, i believe more than 5 times, it always go to message which I am doubt whether someone listens to it. I dont know how busy their business is, but super disappointing to find out they have no way of reaching out and no response. Think twice when you want to use their service

I lived in west london, so my time was limited for the viewings, yet they managed to make it flexible. Also I couldn’t get the house immediately as i gad to serve the notice period. No problem for CM sales , they managed to help with that and ofcourse the land lord was one of a kind. To find a place that suits you is hard and can be stressful with many options on the market, however i never felt that stress it was a smooth move. I recommend Cm sales . Positive experience: Well to start with this was my 1st experience with CM Rent & Sales, I should say that Mr Jacob had been very supportive all throughout the processes, I had a very bad experience form one of the landlords who cancelled my let agreement just a day before I could move in and made my family homeless in one night. I had no place to go and it was Jacob who supported us and helped us find a new home within a day and worked everything out , He is very polite, kind and a very good human-being. Thank you Jacob for all the support you have given to my family. We really appreciate all your efforts, though we had a bunch of negative experiences and trauma it was you who turned everything around and became our saviour.

Negative experience: Nonexistent communication, zero sense or organisation, and an attempt to let a property to us that was legally uninhabitable with nonfunctional toilets, and pain scraping off in the kitchen, amongst a barrage of other issues that we had to discover for ourselves (even though we were explicitly promised that they would be fixed and had been fixed prior to the move in). Ultimately left out of pocket but it's worth it to never have to do with them again. Made any other letting agent I've used seem like a professional in comparison.

Negative experience: Disorganised, uncommunicative, and negligent - listed an uninhabitable property After being pushed back for a viewing and subsequent move in, we were presented with a property legally unfit for habitation - requiring us to cancel our move and spend a week getting a refund. No communication between landlord, letting agent and us. Property presented without cleaning. "Temperamental" boiler - as it was told to us on the day even though they are known for half a week. Rooms left undecorated and unusable which they intended to continue work on after we were to move in and "work around". Toilets left unclean and nonfunctional. All these issues and more (including those promised to be fixed prior to move in) were discovered by us on the day of attempting to move in - not sure what they classify as a rental inventory... We had to cancel the rental and get a refund (for what we paid them). Even now, we are still out of pocket by nearly £2k, and a copious amount of stress, due to the efforts spent trying to move in. One of the few letting agents now on our blacklist.

Almost ALL letting agents wouldn't even return our call and those that did told us they didn't trust we would actually show up. CM was 1 of 2 agents that were actually willing to work with us. They were willing to have a friend tour the rental with us on video chat, which many agents did not seem comfortable with. The process was straightforward enough and Harry was happy to explain anything that we didn't understand coming from the US. CM was great. I had no concerns throughout the letting process.

Negative experience: Avoid this agency, do not use. We were without heating and hot water in the winter for months in the height of winter, had to shower at work or the gym. Breaches of tenancy agreement and health and safety. The lock on the front door of our property stuck over the BH weekend. No number to call, no access to the landlord. Paid for emergency repair sent the invoice in, was never paid. Deposit retained with little reason why, never notified landlord of the dispute. Stay away from this company.

Fantastic experience: CMRent have been fantastic, significantly better than the other letting agents I've interacted with, and there have been many of those. They went above and beyond for me despite my neverending stream of silly questions. I can't recommend them enough. Extremely friendly, patient and helpful team. Special shout-out to Helen and Jacob, who have had way more patience with me than I deserve. Fantastic service!
