Fantastic experience: Selling your property can be a daunting prospect so we asked around locally for recommendations. Wilson Thomas came out on top for their friendly and non-pushy approach. They didn't disappoint. Their service from start to finish was exemplary. The valuation by Simon was professional, respectful and realistic. We had total faith in his judgement due to his longstanding employment in the industry, his knowledge of the locality and his honest and straightforward approach. We were lucky enough to secure a sale on the first day of viewing to a local couple. Communication with the office was excellent. Any query or worry was answered in a very timely manner, even when you assumed that the office had closed for the evening Justin would be straight back with an email and an answer for immediate reassurance. We were able to conveniently communicate with our buyers through him and vice versa which we found extremely helpful. On the day of exchanging contracts Justin was immediately on the phone to congratulate us. In this digital age it is so refreshing to come across such a personal one to one service where you are made to feel valued. The estate agent that we were buying through were often difficult to get hold of which can be upsetting and frustrating at times. They could certainly learn a thing or two from Justin and his team. If you are looking to sell a property do not hesitate. We would highly recommend Wilson Thomas. They will be with you all the way.

Fantastic experience: I have had to sell my sister's house in Corfe Mullen following her passing away last year. In addition to the many other legal and emotional issues that needed to be dealt with selling a house from afar, I live in Greater Manchester, added many other practical problems. Simon Holt and the rest of the team at Wilson Thomas proved to be a very good choice for me as they have handled everything extremely professionally and efficiently. This included speedily finding a second buyer when the first one dropped out, making house visits to make sure everything was in order recommending local contractors, e.g. lock & door fitters, gardeners, plumbers, house clearance, to resolve various problems that came up; all of which would have been easy enough if I had been local but become, potentially, ten times harder when you're 250 miles/5 hour drive away. Simon made sure I was constantly updated with developments and made the whole process as stressless as I could have hoped for, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Negative experience: I'm looking to move near to Wimborne and found a property I wanted to view in Broadstone. I spoke to Simon on 7th August who was extremely rude & unhelpful and told me the owner of the property would not under any circumstances accept a viewing unless my property was on the market. That I can accept but he then suggested I purchased it unseen! I said there was no way I would do that so he said "well you won't be buying it then" I have viewed several properties in the Wimborne area recently and never been spoken to in this manner. I pity the vendor.

Negative experience: We viewed a house in Broadstone with Simon. The house wasn't to our liking when seen in person compared to the pictures. We opened the blinds (which were closed) to look at the garden view and assess the windows - and the blind came off it's fixture. We apologised for this, even though seems the blinds were already broken. He was so beyond rude and unprofessional. He literally chased us out the house saying that we were wasting his time because we didn't like the house. We as buyers are allowed to 'not like a house' after viewing it. He refused to let us see the loft - stating that 'you can put an offer in and view it for a second time if you want to go in the loft.' He did not let us see the garden either as it was 'wasting his time'. Absolutely do not recommend using them as an estate agents. Simply cannot state just how unprofessional this whole experience was.

Negative experience: Most unprofessional viewings my partner and I have ever been on. We viewed a property in Broadstone with Simon. During a viewing I pulled the fitted blind up to look in the house's back garden and check the road/cars passing by. However, when I tried to open the blinds it came off it's wall fixing (it obviously wasn't fitted properly). I apologised profusely to Simon. As a viewer I really think we should be allowed to open blinds/look in fitted wardrobes/go in the loft. All of these things matter as a potential buyer. In comes Simon who very aggressively tells me off and from then on had a very inappropriate, unprofessional demeanor about him. He basically chased us out the door! Simon went from friendly to aggressive and made us feel very uncomfortable.
