Negative experience: Update: I have now received an email response, asking me to delete this review. This is my response Hi Matthew, Thank you for your response. My review was honest and I will not remove it. I don't believe you can blame the market for your attitude. You call yourself Boscombe Proud. I beg to differ. You made me feel like my property is of low quality and in the middle of a ghetto. Boscombe has been on the rise for 15 years and yet, you are still stuck in the early 2000's. God forbid anyone seeks your services for a property in the Triangle. You denigrated my flat at every turn. How many 2 beds, light, airy flats with a terrace overlooking a park (yes it is a terrace) can you say are right on the bus lines, 2 minutes from all shops, 5 minutes from the pier and bang in the middle between both Pokesdown and Bournemouth train stations? I wonder if you just didn't want the business but we're curious to see what had been done since you were last involved. The other agents I have had in since have also given me similar valuations (actually up to £20k more) but with totally polar opposite attitudes, making me feel like my business would be valued with them. I want to work with someone, whether I rent or sell, who likes what they do and who will represent myself and my property in the best light. Someone I would trust. I do not believe this is you and I would not recommend you to anyone looking to sell of buy. Emilie Brossard Original Review: I had a valuation on my property and even though the numbers given were extremely low, this is not why I am giving them a low review. The Agent's attitude was very negative and down right upsetting. He clearly didn't want to market my property and made that very clear. I then looked up other similar properties on their website and one stood out. Smaller and lesser quality than mine but under offer for more money than what he valued mine at. I did reach out to try and understand the situation but am yet to receive an answer. I have had other valuations since, from other agents, and their attitude has been extremely different and have made me feel much more positive about the process. Bullock and Lees pride themselves of being Boscombe proud but the Agent made me feel like my unique 2 bedroom flat with a terrace was a squat in the middle of a Third World ghetto. I will avoid them for rental and sale from now on.

Fantastic experience: Developer tried to ‘Guzunder’ me at the ‘agreed price’ at the last minute. I chose Bullock and Lees as I had 3 estate agents saying what is was worth - Denisons, Slades, but Bullock and Lees were prob the best. Josh and Matthew (the Director) are both very proactive and work well together. Josh organised the drone and organising visiting the house and sales and Matthew oversaw everything. There was a lot of negotiation going on with the buyer with ‘Guzundering’ going on and I have to say that Matthew was excellent at that! I wouldn’t budge….pay the agreed price ! Or the house back on the market without the developer. It’s really down to principle…developers love to undercut you but I refused. Remember work out what the house is worth and do not let buyers convince you otherwise! Well done to Bullock and Lees for being proactive and maybe to Josh finding that buyer…you really were excellent…I’m very pleased! Thank you!

Negative experience: Josh needs to learn to be considerably more polite. He called me regarding a block in Boscombe in which I own the Freehold Interest. Clearly he was trying to get a sale over the line, I fully understand that. But on reflection the tone of his voice and what he was saying was bordering on threatening. Not professional.

Fantastic experience: I recently purchased a flat in Boscombe from these agents. I mainly dealt with Josh, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the block, having previously sold similar flats. Josh proved very helpful in arranging visits and recommending a local solicitor, who was very efficient in dealing with the purchase. Josh proved a great go between with all parties. When I needed help post completion, Josh also had recommendations for a decorator and appliance electrician, who were very responsive and reasonably priced. Fantastic experience: I was looking for a property to rent with my partner. Bullock and lees contacted us very quickly and said they had a property that hadn't been listed or advertised yet so offered for us to take a look around and see what we thought as the first people. We viewed the property and knew pretty quickly that we would look at moving to this location. From start to finish the process was very easy and within two weeks we moved into our new property. Fantastic experience: When I attempted to sell my rental property in Boscombe and after an horrific experience lasting many months with one of the 'chain' Estate Agents in Boscombe, (I wont name them here, but let's just say it rhymes with Harm or Hell!), I decided to give Bullock and Lees a call. My personal agent was Josh as he was totally amenable, extremely proficient and he kept me informed throughout the whole process of my purchase of the property they were selling. Josh, as with the other members of the agency have a natural way about them, they made it easy and comfortable to go through such a normally stressful process with compassion and efficiency. Fantastic experience: First night in our new house and we could not be happier! If there was an option for thousand stars I would give it to these guys. We been messed about by other agent and had to pull out half way through the process and thought that won’t find another house by the arrival of our twin babies. Because of Bullock and Lees we are in even better house than the original one and plenty of time before due date. Negative experience: Trying to relocate to Bournemouth area and willingness to try and book in a viewing for properties is being left very last minute with next to no consideration for travel times during a time with train strikes. I simply want to book a viewing in advance for the following week but am being told to call on Monday for a viewing the next day providing me no opportunity to make travel arrangements and I was told 'Because it is Christmas time'. When trying to ask for a viewing for next week just got a repeat of the same reasoning and I said simply not to worry about it and got hung up on. Disappointing. I just want to view properties and book in a viewing with enough time to actually plan my travel around current train strikes. I was being advised to leave it until the new year but I need to move out of my current place in the new year. Feels like the agent was reluctant to help and is concerned only about leaving for Christmas Holiday.

The service I received from Marina and the rest of the team at Bullock and Lee’s was exceptional. It was one of the smoothest transitions through the renting process, I have ever seen or experienced. This was done with complete transparency and consideration. I would highly recommend using these guys for anything property related. Great, friendly, honest, reliable and efficient. I should also add that the fact Marina speaks multiple languages was a massive help when referring my family and employee's. My go to estate agent.
