Negative experience: Extremely disappointing experience. Our experience with this estate agent has left us seriously questioning the transparency, professionalism and integrity of the service we received. We had an offer accepted on a property after our first offer was rejected. We understood that, because we had not yet sold our own home, the sellers wanted to keep the property on the market. We were told that once we had a buyer for our property, the house would be removed from the market. However, after our offer was accepted, we received very little communication or support from the agent in helping us secure a buyer. We had to repeatedly chase for updates and felt completely deprioritised. The most upsetting part came when we went to the property ourselves and discovered directly from the seller that the agent had found another buyer. They had accepted an offer for the same amount we had offered and contracts had already been exchanged. We had not been told any of this by the estate agent. We found out ourselves, directly from the seller. We appreciate that until exchange of contracts, an accepted offer is not legally binding and that circumstances can change. That is not the issue. The issue is the complete lack of communication and transparency. We had an accepted offer, were told what the process would be, and then discovered ourselves that another buyer had been found and contracts exchanged. For us, this goes beyond simply being disappointed that we lost a property. It is about how the situation was handled and the lack of professional communication throughout. We expected honesty, transparency and professionalism. Unfortunately, our experience left us feeling that those basic principles were not demonstrated.

Any issues were dealt promptly, making our tenancy smooth and stress-free. We would happily recommend them to other tenants.

Her communication was clear and professional, and she worked efficiently to ensure suitable tenants were found quickly while keeping everything straightforward. What I particularly appreciated was that her advice always felt balanced and fair, rather than driven purely by sales. India has been excellent on the property management side. She is organised, reliable, and very responsive whenever anything arises. It is reassuring to know the property is being well looked after, and she does a great job of keeping me informed while handling matters smoothly. What I value most is the effort she makes to find practical solutions that work well for both the landlord and the tenant. Overall, they have both been a pleasure to work with. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and support have made the entire process far easier, and I only wish I had gone to them sooner.

Fantastic experience: I have been renting with Horler for the past 8 years. When I was first introduced to the company my situation was complicated but Loren was fantastic at helping me secure a property to let. Since then I have found Loren & the team great at responding to any issues that have arisen over the years, always prompt at resolving any problems, arranging contractors etc. They have also been very communicative with regards to routine inspections and checks. Fantastic experience: Having started renting a property via Stephen Uren Estate agent some 13 years ago working with a letting assistant called Loren, Stephen Uren were taken over by Horler and several things have remained 1st class. The attention to detail both for the Landord and Tennant. The rapid professional way a problem is dealt with by Horlers with a back plans and support during problem times eg River Thames flooding. I would now like to praise Loren who I have known over these years. It's been my pleasure to watch her develop into a truly professional caring manager. Negative experience: I recently visited Loren and was extremely disappointed by the lack of respect I received as a customer. The staff, especially [LOREN], was dismissive and unhelpful. My questions were met with curt responses, and I felt like my presence was more of a nuisance than a valued patron. When I voiced my concerns, they were brushed off without any attempt to resolve the issue. This experience has left a very negative impression, and I won't be returning. Respect for customers should be a top priority, and unfortunately, Loren failed miserably in this regard.

Negative experience: Terrible rental agency was ok 5 years ago but not any more will leave you in uninhabitable property you will need to go to the council to make complaint to get any work carried out then they send there workman who is useless and stole my ladders Stay away My house has been over ran by rats for last 6month still waiting for repairs to be finished all because of bad maintenance not food waste there builders leave the carpets ruined when I send over documents showing told there will sort when I leave and I will be charged for the carpets hense don't rent with these lot you will lose your sanity and a lot of money

Negative experience: I was today in their Windsor office to sort out certain matters. The person I was looking for was absent and I did talk with a lady in the office. Even I can give credit for being a young person, but that alone can't explain rudeness (of course wrapped with nice words), and complete lack of respect. I could just manage to say a few sentences while hearing the flow of unrequested information. I came later back and met with the person I was looking for initially and sorted out everything I need in a short discussion. Sorry for 1 star, but even that one good experience couldn't compensate bad one. I had business with this company before and couldn't complain, but looks like things change and not for the best. Unless forced - I will not have a business with them in any foreseeable future.

Negative experience: Terrible service if you attempt to view a rental property. Having seen a property that met my needs and budget, I contacted Horley & Associates to arrange a viewing. I spoke to an administrator who informed me that I would be contacted at a later time to book a slot. Not having heard anything for a while, I called again, around 7 hours later, spoke to the same administrator and explained that I was keen on viewing the property and did not want to miss out as the location was prefect for my needs. I was bluntly interrupted and told "YOU WON'T MISS OUT", unquote. I then emailed Horler & Associates to voice my dissatisfaction and express my concerns. My email was not replied to. I eventually received an email, informing me that the house would be available to view the early part of week commencing 15/04. I replied and offered ample availability as I work minutes away and could escape with very little notice to view the property. I have not received a reply, not even a an acknowledgement email. It seems that my budget (£1500 for a 2/3 bedroom rental) is insignificant and they cannot be bothered dealing with my query. Why do they bother listing properties that they are not willing to deal with? Frankly, I am annoyed at the fact that I will miss out on that specific property. Whilst I am still interested, I am no longer prepared to work with Horley & Associates. It is their loss as in addition of finding a rental property, I have a property for sale and was keen in using the same Estate agent for both transactions. I will go elsewhere and hopefully deal with a company that is keen to have my business.
