3 months ago Fantastic experience: The whole process of purchasing our new build on Vale Meadows (phase 2) couldn’t have been handled any better by Suzanne Evans and her team (Gemma from the Morecambe office), from the initial tour of the show home to being handed our keys last Friday (09/01/26). 4 months ago Fantastic experience: Me and my partner went to look at the vale meadows properties in August/September this year, after thinking about potentially buying our first home together. We were greeted by Suzanne Evans who was so friendly and welcoming to the site. She was extremely professional and explained everything about the site and all of their available properties. She let us look around the show home in our own time which gave us a great idea of the style and layout of the houses they had on offer. She showed us a property that was not yet released to the website but one she thought we would be interested in after explaining what we were looking for. We instantly fell in love with the house, the views and everything about the site. We were so eager to reserve instantly but we had to wait until it was released. As soon as it was released, Suzanne let us know instantly so we could reserve our dream home. We couldn’t be happier with the process so far, Suzanne has made it so smooth for us and is constantly in contact with us to let us know everything we need! We are currently aiming to move in the end of March 2026 and cannot wait!

4 months ago Fantastic experience: We have just bought a house through Farrell & Heyworth in Lancaster and the whole thing went really smoothly. Buying a place can be a bit of a faff at the best of times but we always knew where we stood and what was happening next, which made a big difference. We dealt mainly with Lee and he was great throughout. Really easy to talk to, straight with us, and always came back with updates when we needed them. No pushy sales nonsense, just a decent bloke doing his job properly. He kept things ticking along between us, the seller and the solicitors, and made sure nothing got stuck or forgotten about. Whenever we had a question about the process, he explained it clearly so we knew what was going on. It all felt organised from start to finish and a lot less stressful than we expected. Overall, a really good experience and we are happy with how everything was handled. Big thanks to Lee for keeping it all on track and we would happily use Farrell & Heyworth again.

I primarily dealt with Angel in the Lancaster office who was always highly professional, personable and polite. 6 months ago Fantastic experience: I was wary of such a large estate agency, thinking it would be impersonal, but I’m happy to say I was mistaken. The Lancaster branch was very helpful in the selling of my house for a good price, and Nicole in particular went out of her way to reach me, even though I was by then living abroad, and had all sorts of practical difficulties resulting from my being out of the country. The tenant refused to agree to a deduction from the deposit and also refused to interact with the resolution team. 9 months ago Fantastic experience: I had a very difficult sale to process. The supposed buyers let me down and the solicitors were so useless that their appointment had to be ended. Nicole Lloyd and Angel Temple were very supportive during this time - I don't know how I would have managed without them. Calm, patient, always encouraging and very personable. After 3 months of time wasting the property went back on the market in mid March 2025, had potential buyers in 6 days and completion took place on 27th May ! Thank you Nicole and Angel!

10 months ago Fantastic experience: I was looking for a house to buy and Debbie from FH always made time for me. Her knowledge of the area was excellent, she gave me great advise and although she wanted to get the best price for the vendor, she still looked for the best possible deal for me. In the end, I ended up buying a house from another agent, but she looked at the house I bought anyway and gave me her worthwhile independent advise on the property.

1 year ago Negative experience: Do not sell with this Company!!! This "Family run company" is anything put family run. They got me to sell with them with promises of an eager team who would focus on selling my property and that if it didn't sell and I wanted to take it off the market there would be no fees. After a year on the market without a single offer I discovered on an occasion that when someone wanted to book a viewing for my property they were also pushed to view another flat Farrell Heyworth were selling in my building a floor up. then when this person said they would rather not on the viewing day they were taken up to view the other flat first before being shown mine anyway. I know this as i asked a friend to go on a viewing to see how they did and this is what they came back with. But more importantly they lied about the fees. I will say I did sign the contract that has in writing the fee so I was to blame for not fully checking that over but when the valuer came round and while they were trying to convince me to go with Farrell Heyworth they told me there were no fees for leaving, I even asked this at a later date and they confirmed it so I trusted there word which I now regret doing. When I spoke to the office about this I was told the valuer had left the company a few years ago so he could not vouch for this (I put my property in the market 1 year ago so this was already false) And then at a later date got called a liar by the middle manager. After this I just bit the bullet and paid the exiting Fee as they refused to take the property of the market until I did. But when sending me the invoice they upped the price from what was on the contract then told me to pay but luckily this time I had the contract with the amount on it so I was able to get the changed quickly but they were more then happy initially to take the higher amount pressing that I could not take the property off until I did this. At the end of this all I can say is if you have read this do not go with this company, pick any other estate agents and hopefully you wont have to go through the same experience I did.

Regarding the specific concerns you raised about viewings, we aim to show properties that meet the potential buyer’s needs, and we encourage them to view all suitable options. We apologise if the viewing process did not meet your expectations, but we assure you that it is standard practice to provide as many relevant property options as possible.
In addition, as per your request, we promptly removed the property from sale and resolved the situation regarding your fees according to the terms set out in the agreement.
