Negative experience: I would not recommended using this estate agents. I had arranged to view a property with them twice and both times the estate agent didn't turn up. This was a great inconvenience as I had to take time of work to attend these viewings.

Negative experience: Tried multiple times to get a call back about a property I’m interested in buying, spoke to 3 different people and can’t get a call back. When I have spoke to someone on the 2nd day to try and book a viewing was told none of my details were taken, even after I applied to view through RightMove. I have called 4 or 5 times and still no booking or call back to view property. I feel sorry for the customer who is trying to sell their property through this agency.

Fantastic experience: I have used Northwood and the staff at Belvoir (before they merged) to manage my rental property for years. I have now used them to market and sell the property and from beginning to end they have been so supportive and I have nothing but praise for their friendly professionalism. Thank you to Chris Davies and the team in Lettings and Sales for making it a seamless experience. It makes me miss Hereford and the genuinely lovely people that abound even more.

Negative experience: Been left with no hot water for 3 nights now, rang on the weekend to report it as an emergency and was told they don’t work weekends, it’s now monday night and still nothing been done, currently waiting for the plumber to give a time when he can come! disgraceful especially with 3 children in the household!

Negative experience: It's a shame I can't put 0 as this has been one of the worst experiences of dealing with such an estate agent in all my life!!! We applied for an application to proceed with a rental property and after the landlord agreeing to proceed and taking our holding deposit, we wanted to push our move in date by 3 days due to a family bereavement. Since then, the whole process and service experienced has been diabolical.... they put the property back on the market following this request rather than work with us to come to an amicable solution for everyone to proceed if they were unable to accomerdate the requested date. We raised our concerns and continued to express our intent to the Directors of the business however after raising this to obtain help support and recitify the issues in the matter to proceed, we have been notified this evening that they now believe our application is unfaverable and have secured another tenant, even though we should still remain a prioiry given the holding deposit that remains in place. This is not only unfair treatment but very UNREASONABLE!!!! They also imposed unrealistic timescales of payment when they want to, inconsistencies in their approach which clearly is a lack of a stardardised approach to customer service and not to mention the lack of transparency of obtaining draft tenancy agreements to give tenants time to review their terms ahead of the tenancy commencing. This firm clearly prefers to operate in a non compliant way with the Consumer Rights Act and the Tenancy Fees Act, and does not care if you have put a holding deposit down, not to mention showing a lack of empathy and flexibility to anybody situation if you need to agree an alternative move in date. This now potentially leave us is a very difficult situation given we were meant to be moving in 7 days, the costs paid to secure removal companies and that we are now unable to stay where we are, leaves us homeless with 4 children in toe. I will be raising this to the regulatory bodies as this is not the standards I'm sure that they expect to treat tenants.

Negative experience: We booked Northwood to come and value my late mother's house in Hereford. We had travelled over 2 hours from home to get valuations from a few estate agents. Was booked for 11.30am, by 11.50 nobody had turned up so rang office - turns out the employee coming had run out of petrol at a previous house so wouldn't be able to get there. Was promised a call back by 1pm to see if it could be rearranged but nobody has bothered to call back. Seems like they were running late and didn't want to work past the 12pm closing time so tried to find a way out of coming.

Negative experience: Extremely poor landlords stay clear !

Fantastic experience: I contacted Northwood Hereford with a general enquiry about the rental process and the current market. I was called back very quickly by Tim Miller, who was super helpful, giving me lots of insight and advice on how to progress my search when the time is right. I'm very pleased I contacted Northwood as I'm better equipped for my search now and on the basis of today's experience would certainly use them in future as a letting agent, or when I was ready to buy.

Fantastic experience: I used Northwood as the letting agent for our flat. They took a lot of the stress out of the setting up process. Northwood provided sound advice and guidance throughout and nothing was too much trouble. I remained with Northwood for the duration and they remained very efficient. When it came to selling they found me buyer straight away! A great company I would highly recommend.

Positive experience: The initial response from Northwoods was at best poor. Wrong information given by staff on site and lack of politeness from agent. But they did ramp up a little towards the end

Fantastic experience: I contacted Northwood about renting a flat on a Friday morning, had an immediate response and arranged viewing 11am on Monday. Requested and received application form by Monday afternoon (would have received a call had there not been a mix up with my phone number). Tim at Northwood called at 8.55am on Tuesday morning, which was very helpful as I had failed to send the completed application properly. Resent the documents, Tim contacted the landlord, and the deal was done and holding deposit paid by 10am on Tuesday. Collecting the keys on Monday. This is not the service I experienced with other firms the Shrewsbury area. Superb, highly recommended.

Very professional but also get a real friendly vibe from them which puts you at ease instantly when speaking with them. I can truly say that the service provided is excellent – nothing is too much trouble and any requests that I make are always dealt with super quickly. The Team are very friendly, efficient and have a great sense of humour. There has never been any trouble with any of my tenants. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
