Carol was our main point of contact and she was great especially towards the end when things got a bit frantic with 3 offers in the space of a couple of days. Negative experience: I’ve dealt with Clyde Property for many years in connection with tenanting properties. Usually dealt with Bothwell office and generally the service was great. Recently, Clyde (Falkirk/Stirling) dealt with tenanting a local property and service was OK. Tenancy was short lived and property was passed to my kids. On my recommendation they instructed Clyde to re-let - that was a mistake which I am quite embarrassed about. Service was very poor. Emails and simple requests (for Business terms and conditions) were repeatedly ignored. The tenancy agreement was wrong and generally a total lack of interest and professionalism was displayed. I certainly would not be recommending that particular office to anyone. A very poor show.

Fantastic experience: Firstly, whilst we appreciate this feedback is in reference to Clyde Property selling our property. We would like to take the opportunity to further demonstrate Clyde Property's commitment to their customers. When a sale 'fell through' they contacted us to ask if we were till interested. The result is we got a second opportunity. Following that Clyde arranged for a valuation of our property the following day, we received a full explanation of the services they offered and the potential cost involved. We agreed to proceed. Within a week our house was on the market. They arranged for the surveyor to get in touch with us, their photographer did a magnificent job, producing stills, video & drone footage, which showcased our home. By the following week our house is under offer. Throughout all of this we benefited the full support of the Clyde Property staff. Always kept informed always on hand for advice. We would highly recommend Clyde property they are friendly, efficient and the consummate professionals.

Negative experience: They are so consumed with corporate greed they have lost sight of the fact that there are real people looking for real homes for their families. We were asked to move our viewing from 5:45pm to 5:30pm which we agreed to. At 4:45pm I received a text asking to come even earlier. We rushed with our newborn baby, leaving our toddler at nursey later than usual to get there sooner only to find the small house was filled with multiple viewers. There wasn’t room to view and incredibly awkward. They are attempting to create a frenzy with the viewers. We are looking for a home for our family. It is really frustrating not to be treated with respect and common decency. Scheduling a 5-10 minute appointment for buyers to actually be able to view the house on their own to decide if it is a place to raise their children shouldn't be too much to ask for.

Fantastic experience: Spoke to Carol at Clyde and I could only visit (personal circumstances) on one day - a Sunday. Carol's day off! "Not to worry, I am just 10 mins away. Call me when you arrive". Following my visit, she even fixed me up with a solicitor! Thank you Carol. The face of Clyde.

Negative experience: An absolute shambles of a company. Enquired many weeks ago as directed by their staff in person to be told almost 2 months later the diary is now full. Look at any of the other property rental firms in Stirling and avoid this dishonest and lying company.

In each instance, they have went above and beyond in assisting us, with a personal touch and a ‘no problem’ attitude that helped make the entire process go as smoothly as possible. Fantastic experience: We contacted Clyde Property in Stirling to help us let out a property in Dunblane. We dealt with Roscoe West who was first class in providing advice and guidance on aspects required to let the property. Working with both Roscoe West (Area manager) and Susan Henderson (Letting negotiator), we marketed the property achieving a great outcome letting the property in a matter of days to professional tenants for more than I expected. Following the start of the lease their technical team have been on hand to address maintenance issues and property inspections. The property inspections are comprehensive and they are also open to looking at specific aspects as required. I’ve found Clyde to be a friendly professional outfit that understand the local property market well in terms of pricing.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant service from Clyde Stirling to sell our late parents house in Dunblane. Derek and Jenna were always available and quick to answer any queries. From the first visit to the (v quick) sale they were hugely professional but also took time to understand our personal circumstances, needs and wishes. The sale price they achieved was very good, well above expectations. And their fees are reasonable. The photos and video. were also a step above other agents we have seen, which I'm certain really helped the sale. A good balance of local knowlege but with national reach. We would not hesitate to thoroughly recommend them, and if we ever need an agent again, they will be our first port of call.

Had initially thought about going with an online estate agent but in retrospect I realise how valuable it was for us having a local estate agent who knew the market, was easily contactable and certainly don’t think we would have gotten the price we did If we had used on a online provider. We had a clear idea about how we would like our property marketed and Clyde in Stirling were very much aligned with this and listened to what was importance to us. At first visit it was clear Derek had a good understanding of the Stirling market and Kings park where we were selling. He gave us full confidence that Clyde were the right estate agents to handle the sale of our property. Tara and Jenna both visited the property to get a good idea of the house which helped when liaising with buyers. Fiona was very prompt at responding to emails and helped get the final brochure marketing ready to go live. Caroline was able to seamlessly step in to help arrange last minute viewings at the weekend. The myClyde platform was great as I was able to keep an eye on viewings, feedback and any updates such as noted of interest etc. The team were very good at keeping this updated as well as calling to check in or give me updates over the phone. Negative experience: I used Clyde to rent out my house in Stirling, and what a lot of trouble that caused me. They failed to correctly supervise cleaners employed to clean the house and garage, on whom I had spent hundreds of pounds, with the result that the tenants complained the house was not clean when they moved in. They walked around bare feet and their feet were black from the carpets in very short time. I had the garage professionally cleaned not once, but twice, and still it wasn't up to scratch. My tenant had to clean it himself for the third time. Any time I called in to verify if things had been done, Clyde would simply respond 'Yes' without checking, and I'd usually find out from viewers that things weren't as Clyde attempted to portray them. So to poor supervision of the cleaners I can also add poor and misleading communication. Clyde even tried to blame my tenants by suggesting they should expect a lower quality of cleanliness in a rental property! Then they tried to exploit this experience to sell me a more managed service. This just beggars belief! I won't be using Clyde again, they are only interested in getting their commission and don't care about the consequences.

Fantastic experience: Julie and the team are always available to answer questions and provide support, every person in the office dealt with things in a professional manner. We were returning clients, as we purchased our home through Clyde and were so impressed with them that we returned when we decided to sell our home. Their range of open hours, and out of hours contact, meant that no interest from buyers would be missed. Clyde are even open on a Sunday, and fitted in viewings wherever possible, including first thing on a Sunday morning. Many of the team are local, and their knowledge of the local area used to sell our home was excellent. I can't fault the professionalism with which our house sale has been dealt with from start to finish. At what can be a very stressful time the Clyde team did everything they could to support us through the process. We would highly recommend Clyde to anyone in the Bridge of Allan/wider Stirling area.

Negative experience: Most of the positive reviews here are from property owners, but unfortunately can't say the same as a tenant. From start to finish Clyde were a pain to deal with. They would never get back to you about questions and every time we phoned the office they'd tell us they'd call back later and they never did. We'd wait days, call again, get the same response. Wait days again. A month after moving into our flat they phoned up to tell us we had to move out bc the landlord wanted to sell – when we pursued them with questions about next steps we couldn't get ahold of any answers, again. We were told the relevant person would phone us back the next day, yet when we followed up suddenly this person was on annual leave for a week. To top matters off they demanded 6 months rent up-front from my flatmate, despite her offering a parent as a guarantor, then refused to refund any of that until after the tenancy ended – even when we gave our 28-days notice so clearly wouldn't be living there for 6 months. This money was most of my flatmate's savings so she was forced to borrow money to pay the security deposit on our next flat bc Clyde had all her money sitting in their accounts. The flat was also dirty when we moved in – grime on windows, thick layer of dust on top of fridge & back of sink basin, hair in drawers, mould in kitchen. When Clyde tried to keep part of our security deposit to clean the flat – after we'd lived there only 2 months – we pointed out the state we found the flat, but this was apparently irrelevant as we were supposed to report cleanliness issues in the first 24 hours. Many of these issues we didn't discover until a few days in, bc they'd made sure the flat appeared clean at first glance, but left filth in areas we wouldn't spot right away. They charged us for a cleaning fee despite reporting in writing in our final inspection that we "cleaned the flat well." We challenged this with the tenancy deposit scheme and won back a portion of the money. Oh, they also completely ignored some of our reports for things that needed fixed in the flat (mould from previous tenants, faulty extractor fan that spewed dirt all over our bathroom, etc). Clyde are a joke, avoid if possible. I moved onto B-Spoke property who have been a dream. No issues, immediate answers to all questions, prompt dealing with problems in flat.

It also means you don’t get too many time wasters. Jenna was particularly helpful as she was always available to answer any question or for updates as we sought to buy and sell at the same time. Fantastic experience: The whole experience from first contact to acknowledgement that keys had been given to new owners was flawless. The online log is a perfect way to keep in touch and see what’s happening with viewings etc. We would highly recommend Clyde Property as they have a great knowledge of the area and excellent customer communication. Maybe selling over a weekend was lucky in our case but Clyde were onto the case as soon as we contacted them, pictures taken that day and before you know it, it was online. The liaison between Clyde and our solicitor was fantastic too. Excellent service and very reasonably priced too.
