Negative experience: I had a mixed experience with Davies & Davies. Initially, Sian was very helpful and professional during the tenancy, and I appreciated her promptness with paperwork. However, toward the end of the 'fully managed' let, I felt let down by the lack of professional support during a dispute over final liabilities. Communication became difficult, and I was disappointed to be told that certain tenancy-end issues were 'not within their remit,' despite paying for a managed service. I would recommend them for the start of a tenancy, but I personally wouldn't use the managed service again due to the lack of advocacy when it was needed most.

Philomena is extremely knowledgeable about the change in law and changes that we don't even know about yet. She has worked very hard and to make this fluid and effective for all and I think a great deal of it, in her own time. I honestly feel that D and D lettings are the best in the business so please feel very confident in employing them. Fantastic experience: In all my dealings with Davies & Davies (we bought our first house in Westbury from them 19 years ago!), I have been very impressed with the amount of attention they have given to our fairly modest requirements; this is one of those businesses where you feel they are working solely for you (there are plenty of their For Sale and Sold signs around to show otherwise!). It is no coincidence that, over the last 19 years, most of the agents that were around at the time are no longer present: the fact that Davies & Davies are still on the High Street is testament to the continuing excellence of their service.

I have, primarily, dealt with the lettings team, as I am a tenant but have popped into the office several times and engaged with people from sales also. In addition to this Mark has been fantastic. When I moved into the property the electricity wasn’t working which was very stressful.
