Fantastic experience: We are first time buyers, buying a property where Lorna was the selling agent and she was super helpful and very proactive and responsive, making sure the house memo of sale went though.

Fantastic experience: I’ve enjoyed working with Lorna, her advice has been helpful and accurate I would recommend Sumnals as an estate agent

Negative experience: Purchased a house through Lorna two years ago now, absolutely awful experience where she was incredibly rude, condescending and unprofessional on multiple occasions. There was so much that went on which was so unpleasant, since it was a while ago now we’ve tried to move on and forget that whole traumatising experience. Would highly not recommend using this estate agents and stay far away. Only leaving a review now as she’s emailed us to leave a positive Google review. Safe to say I have not one positive thing to say about the transaction. Let’s just hope she’s improved since.

Fantastic experience: Lorna was an excellent choice for the sale of our home. She kept us well informed throughout the whole process and answered all of our queries along the way. As this was our first sale of our home we were only familiar with the buying process prior to selling but Lorna went above and beyond to talk us through the steps and give us reassurance. We are very grateful and would highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Lorna was very friendly and profesional. We discussed changes which I made room by room. Highly recomend her and her team to find your new home or sell one.

Fantastic experience: Sumnal properties, helped my brother to sell his flat and purchase his house in Rugeley, Staffordshire. Lorna and her team took care of everything from start to finish with complete professionalism and personal care , they were second to none. Would highly recommend this competent company for anyone in the Staffordshire and surrounding area an absolute 10/10 Well done Lorna Sumnal and team

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a property developer for more than thirty years now and have had dealings with many agents in a fair few different towns yet there will always be one that stands out because of the extra mile they seem to go that’s not necessarily asked for, though much appreciated, like taking all the downs and handling them, to smooth them out and lining them along with the ups. Sumnalls have a professional caring touch for both sellers and buyers alike that puts them up there with the best of the best

Fantastic experience: Lorna and her team were professional, helpful and communicated well throughout the recent sale of a house. Would recommend them for your next move

Fantastic experience: Lorna of Sumnall Properties goes the extra mile. She is efficient thorough and always responds promptly with sound advice to any queries one may have. I would thoroughly recommend the services of Sumnall Properties.

Fantastic experience: Incredible service from Lorna and her team - would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Very fast process from start to finish. Lovely team definitely recommend their services

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Sumnall Properties, they were quick to respond turned round a property at very short notice and were a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process

Fantastic experience: A smooth experience from start to finish. Kept well-informed every step of the way, friendly, curtious, and professional. If to rate on customer service alone, it was professional with a touch of personal, which the latter goes a long way when your stress levels are heightened. Thank you, Lorna.

Negative experience: I've had a horrible experience with Lorna whilst communicating and viewing a property in Rugeley. From the beginning, i was asked to create an Experian account and screenshot her a picture of my credit score before even arranging a viewing for a property. At the viewing, Lorna used very sharp language and rude remarks throughout, often coming across as dismissive or patronising. I had put these feelings aside as ultimately moving into the property was most important. When viewing the property, Lorna was openly disparaging some of the clientele that have viewed properties in the area to me and my partner, stating that "we get all sorts of people applying". We felt this was a little bit inappropriate. This only started after we told her which "nice" area my partner lives in. Very snobbish. When in the process of attempting to sign the property, i asked that the in-progress work on the property is completed and that the white goods (the property didnt have fridge, freezer or washing machine when viewing) are included. She exclaimed that "contracts are legal documents" and that she didnt want to "tamper" with it implying that i was asking for something dodgy. She used that exact word. It was as if she'd never had to make prerequisites or adjustments to a tenancy before. I pushed back, as ive been stung by estate agencies before. I wanted it in writing that these things would be included. She then said that a "deadlock" had been reached and that she'd no longer want to continue discussing a tenancy with me. I messaged saying that I want to continue but just needed some reassurance that the aforementioned appliances will be there - but she closed our communications by wishing me luck with future properties that i go to view. Incredibly unprofessional, makes inappropriate and incendiary comments, without a firm understanding of the buzzwords that she's using. House hunting is hard but if possible, i would steer clear of Sumnall properties.

Fantastic experience: In my 10 yers of renting from then I’ve always found them Friendly ,polite and Professional

Fantastic experience: Sumnall Properties are a pleasure to deal with. They always get back to you with any question you have and if it’s something they are not sure of they will find out and let you know. Nothing is too much trouble. They are a caring company and understand clients needs and worries when buying or renting a property. I always look at Sumnall Properties before looking anywhere else.

A throughly professional service and a really lovely person to deal with too. I would definitely recommend her and Sumnall Properties.

Fantastic experience: Sumnall properties were a pleasure to deal with in what wasn't a totally straightforward transaction. Have used others in the past but would go back to Lorna should I move again. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Lorna and Lucy go out of their way to offer personal service and are genuinely committed to ensuring their clients have a seamless experience. They are not tied to any legal practice and encourage clients to choose their own local solicitor with whom they may already have a working relationship. Buying or selling they will work tirelessly for you

Fantastic experience: Lorna Sumnall is extremely efficient, highly professional and approachable. No need to look anywhere else. Lorna and team has you covered.

Fantastic experience: Lorna was absolutely great, professional, clear, honest, achieving over £5000 better offer for her client. We plan to use her again when selling.

I have always found Sumnall Properties to be extremely knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to deal with. The team practice excellent customer service skills going above and beyond on every occasion. I highly recommend Lorna to anyone buying, selling or renting property.

Fantastic experience: Very professional people at Summall Properties totally reliable. You will get better service from them rather than using the bigger agents .

Fantastic experience: We purchased a beautiful property from Sumnalls. We were met there by Lorna who showed us around the property without any rush. She has amazing ideas in design and willingly shared them with us showing the potential the property had. After getting our offer agreed Lorna kept us constantly updated with the sale right throughout the whole process. I would describe Sumnalls as a professional outfit with first class customer service, who are extremly passionate about what they do. I have no hesitation in recommending Sumnalls and wish them every success.

Fantastic experience: Sound advice and professionalism throughout the sale. None of the usual estate agent flannel to seal the deal. Lorna gets things done and when selling a house that is exactly what you need. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have used Sumnall properties a few times in connection with rentals, have always found them to be very Professional , nothing was too much trouble, and I was very happy with the results on each occasion, very friendly and caring as well, which is important, I would not hesitate to use Sumnall again, 10/10

Fantastic experience: Lorna came to list my house for sale today and did a fantastic job. Her positive attitude and customer service was just incredible. She moved things around to make the photos look the best they possibly could (thanks for the new kitchen layout that I’ll be keeping ). Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been using Lorna Sumnall Lettings for nearly 8 years. All my buy to lets are managed by them. Lorna has always found good tenants who have never been a problem. Lorna is very professional and I can always contact her and her team quickly when needed. I would not hesitate to recommend Lorna Sumnall Properties.

Fantastic experience: Finding a place to live these days it is really challenging for everyone. But if you are lucky enough, like we were, to find the right people who really cares and understand your needs then all becomes smooth and easy. From start to finish Lorna and all the nice people from Sumnall showed how smooth finding a place to live should be. Thank you for such a nice experience and hope to work toghether in the future. Best regards Costin

Fantastic experience: We had the pleasure of dealing with Lorna from Sumnall estate agents while purchasing a property on behalf of my father. Her compassion, advice and attitude towards getting everything done and dusted was plain to see. Even though she wasn’t our agent, she kept us informed, was always available to take our call, and definitely helped to get the sale moving, while our ‘big shed’ agent seemingly didn’t care enough (something she advised me on prior). I recommend her highly, and will be definitely using her for any future sale. Thanks for everything Lorna. Dad is a very happy man!

Fantastic experience: Myself and my daughter rented a property from Lorna back in 2018 till just recent. I couldn’t recommend a more professional and lovely team, my time in that rented property was great there quick service and attention to my needs we’re second to none. Thank you very much Lorna and Lucy xx

Fantastic experience: As the purchaser of a property you don’t always get the same attention as the one paying (vendor), not the case with Sumnalls. Lorna always had time to answer any questions and come back with an answer if not readily available. Friendly team and not your run of the mill estate agents. Highly recommended, thank you Lorna

Fantastic experience: Very professional and knowledgeable company.would highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Dealt with Lorna after unsuccessfully trying to sell our property with 2 other companies! Lorna understood the property market and the clients she was dealing with. We would not hesitate to use her again but more importantly would recommend to anyone looking to sell.

Negative experience: Dumps its signs miles away from the property for sale making the very estate its trying to sell on unsightly. Not one other estate agent has does this to date which tells you how low they are as we all know estate agents and their well deserved reputation.

Fantastic experience: This is the second property Sumnall Properties have sold for me. This one was sold within a week of going on sale. With the full asking price paid. Lorna is very reliable and professional. Sorting out any problems that arose very quickly and efficiently. From start to finish Sumnall properties kept me updated on a regular basis. Would highly recommend to anyone buying/selling or letting.

Fantastic experience: Lorna and the team at Sumnall Properties facilitated the sale of our house in Jun 22. She was recommended to us and provided an excellent service from start to finish. Lorna and the team ensured the property was marketed well and quickly found buyers. She then kept a close eye on the sale as it proceeded to ensure it went through smoothly. Sumnall Properties are highly recommended if you are selling your home!

Fantastic experience: If i could give 10 i would. Thank you Lorna for your help and support over the last ten years or so in initially renting my properties and ultimately selling one of them. Whilst renting you went above and beyond in finding the right tenants. Everything ran smoothly, if the tenants had problems they were dealt with in a good response time. The sale went smoothly as well. Very professional all through. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from start to finish with Lorna at Sumnall properties. Always on hand to answer any questions and assisted without hesitation when dealing with unhelpful solicitors on our end. Would never hesitate to recommend and if I come to move again in the future I will be using Sumnall properties.

Fantastic experience: We were very pleased with the services of Sumnall properties recently. Whilst the house sold itself, Lorna came into her own when we encountered multiple challenges, most significantly delays by the buyers solicitor. Lorna was belligerent in chasing this up and giving us regular updates. I also like the options on fees she offers, i.e. depending on whether you want to conduct your own viewings or for her to. Very flexible and professional, we will definitely recommend her to others.

Fantastic experience: We have recently used Lorna and her wonderful team for our purchase and we would highly recommend them! Lorna was super friendly, positive, very professional and always kept us up to speed on the progression of our case. Thank you so much for your help!

Fantastic experience: Lorna was supportive and informative from the off. Always keeping me in the loop and always a professional approach to everything. Would recommend her in an instant… thanks

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and professional, always there to help when needed. Would highly recommend Lorna and her team when looking for a property! Thank you for all your help!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Lorna who was a beacon of strength during the most difficult of times when needing to sell the family home. Achieved a sale within 2 days of listing at the full asking price with several viewings prior to that. Very responsive to calls & messages & kept me updated throughout.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic support from start to finish, the staff were amazing !

Fantastic experience: Lorna and her team provided an excellent service. From the initial viewing of the property, to moving in, scheduling inspections to suit me to moving out - everything ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble! Recommend!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience from start to finish. I rented the perfect home from Sumnall Properties for 2 years and would recommend the company to anyone. Dealing with Lorna and the team has been pain free throughout. They are all extremely responsive when needed, which wasn't often, very friendly and hold high standards in all aspects of their roles. The property was clean, tidy and well kept at the point of moving in, which meant I did not have to do anything other than unbox. When it came to moving out, due to purchasing a house, Lorna was extremely accommodating and ensured it was a smooth and flexible process. If I need to rent again at any point I will use Sumnall Properties.

Fantastic experience: I brought my house from lorna a few years back and decided to use her to sell my property because I was so impressed by her service, very lovely lady who couldn't do enough for me, thank you so much lorna!

Positive experience: Many thanks to lorna and her team. Very friendly and helpful, getting me into a lovely home.

Negative experience: Possibly the worst customer service I have ever received. After working in the industry for over 10 years I was shocked that someone could be so rude and patronising. Asked to view a rental property, I was bombarded with alot of closed questions. After trying to explain my circumstances, it was demanded I provide 2 years accounts to prove income, explaining this is impossible as I have been self employed for 7 months and asking IF there was an alternative way, a lot of waffle, talking about "her insurers" in the end I put the phone down. Trying to find a property for you and your children when your relationship breaks down is hard, at the end of a pandemic with a shortage of properties is harder. Its safe to say I wont be using you to rent this on or sell the 4 properties we will need to going forward.

Negative experience: It is sad that during these difficult times that this company “cannot” consider tenants with a less than “squeaky clean” credit rating. I can see that this has been an issue for others when approaching this company. Maybe this company should reconsider who offers the rent guarantee service and maybe rental properties would not have to be reduced? I was however treated with respect and Lorna was polite.

Negative experience: Rude, abrasive, actively unhelpful extremely poor customer service and care appalling to speak with I've spoken with a number of people who have had same experience and ended conversations abruptly and that includes speaking with the lorna sumnall. Absolutely terrible.

Fantastic experience: Lorna and her team have been great throughout the process. She was welcoming when I first looked around the property and also very helpful in helping me complete the paperwork. Her freindly and down-to-earth approach was a big reason I decided to apply for the property. Since moving in Lorna and her team have been attentive and helpful whilst allowing me to enjoy my new property. I can highly recommend Sumnal properties.

Fantastic experience: Sumnall properties were amazing turned my rental application round really quickly, very responsive, really helpful, professional and made it all really easy - couldn’t have asked for better!! Thank you, Debbie

Negative experience: Rude and abrasive when enquiring about renting a property, but worse - lied about what they can see on a credit report when I was open about a default, Citizen’s Advice have now told me that the credit check for landlords only shows CCJs and bankruptcy, absolute disgrace and made to feel like a second class citizen. I feel sorry for the owner of the property who has now lost out on what would have been a good tenant. *Update* I see Lorna Sumnall has replied below and is doubling down on her lie - CITIZENS ADVICE have said it is only CCJs & bankruptcy that have to be declared on a tenancy application, a poor credit score is nothing to do with the letting agent or the landlord. I hope landlords look elsewhere for a letting agent if they prefer honesty, which I was being. Furthermore, you weren't kind in the slightest, your tone was appalling.

Fantastic experience: Lorna is a delight to work with. Efficient, honest and very responsive. We had a faultless sale using Sumnall Properties, would highly recommend and have just started using them again for the third time.

Fantastic experience: Although Lorna and her team were the agents for the property we purchased, they were extremely helpful right across the process. Professional, responsive and always helpful. Of particular note was the speed of response (not exactly a given in general) to any enquiry - especially regarding solicitors. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Lorna is the best estate agent by far. Honest and highly efficient and cheap to. She went well beyond what an average estate agent would. I would recommend her to anyone who is selling.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant agent, very professional throughout my entire tenancy, would highly recommend thanks guys.

Fantastic experience: Lorna and Lucy were helpful with our rental property. All went through very fast and we are very pleased. Would definitely use Sumnall properties again.

Fantastic experience: Very pleased with how lorna and the team handled me renting my property, highly recommend them, thanks guys

Positive experience: Good website easy to navigate .. good range of photos and good contact info

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend Sumnall Proprties highly enough. Our house was sold in a very short period of being advertised and in the most difficult of times. They ensured the sale went smoothly from beginning to end and would not hesitate in using them again. Our rental properties are managed by Sumnall and again cannot fault them in their attitude and professionalism. They are indeed the ‘full package’.

Fantastic experience: We have been delighted with the professionalism and great service provided by Sumnall Properties. Selling a house during lock down was not going to be easy but Lorna and her team took all the hard work and the worries away. We recommend Sumnall to you without hesitation! Thank you for all you have done. Gavin Dixon, on behalf of the Toddington family

Fantastic experience: Lorna was quick and responsive when contacted 're house sale. The sale was quick and we achieved a high price. We also bought a property to 'renovate from her and she made the process easy.

Negative experience: Horrendous woman, no idea what on earth she is doing. In an industry thats not regulated choose wisely... dont choose Lorna Sumnall!!

Fantastic experience: I have been renting via sumnal for the last 12 months i have had absolutely no issues with the service and do not hesitate to recommend sumnall to anyone looking for a home whether it be to rent or to purchase - all my messages and enquires have been answered within minutes

Fantastic experience: We are currently renting a property with Lorna and it is a beautiful cottage that we fell in love with. Lorna and Lucy are always very easy to get hold of (by phone or they email back straight away.) We have found them to be kind and helpful in their approach. We hope to continue renting with them.

Fantastic experience: From our first contact with Sumnall Properties, Lorna was friendly and professional. She was very proactive and made buying our property as easy as it could be, which we needed after our previous sale fell through! Lorna kept us up to date with the progress of the sale and was as keen for it to go through as quickly as we were. Thank you for your hard work Lorna, we would definitely use you again in the future.
