Fantastic experience: We found Lucie White and company at a moment of stress and difficulty and she picked us up and calmed us down and spent lots of time with us. She helped us enormously, and we are very grateful for that. We really appreciate the personal care given to our needs and feel very much like part of a big family. The staff we have communicated with so far have all be exceptionally polite and caring. I cannot fault the service. They found a new tenant very quickly and helped organize renovations. Our new tenant moved in very quickly as a result and the time our property was empty was minimized. I am sure that the tenant appreciates the service as well, and a happy tenant is always something to be pleased about.

Lucie and her team found fantastic tenants on the two occasions I needed to do so and living some distance from the property I used their management services to handle any issues/repairs which were dealt with in a timely manner, always keeping me in the loop. At the time I needed to sell, I had no hesitation in using their sales team and Nick was brilliant at supporting both the buyer and myself until we crossed the finish line.

Negative experience: ⭐ 1/5 — Very disappointing experience I rented a property through Lucy White for four years, and unfortunately, my experience at the end of the tenancy was extremely disappointing. Before leaving the property, I paid for a professional cleaning company, as requested/recommended by the agency. The cleaning was quite expensive, and I made every effort to return the property in good condition. Of course, after living in a property for four years, some normal wear and tear is to be expected. The carpet had never been replaced during my tenancy, it made noises when walking on it, and there were also issues with unpleasant smells in the property. Despite paying for professional cleaning and returning the property after four years of tenancy, I was extremely disappointed with the way my £1,200 deposit was handled. After being a tenant for four years and paying my rent, I expected to be treated fairly and reasonably when leaving. Instead, I was left feeling that normal wear and tear after several years of living in a property was not properly taken into consideration. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Lucy White as a letting agency. I would strongly advise future tenants to take detailed photos and videos when moving in and moving out, keep every receipt, and make sure everything regarding the deposit is documented in writing. A very disappointing end to a four-year tenancy.

Positive experience: I had to call multiple times over the course of a week just to arrange a viewing. Each time I was told someone would get back to me, but no follow-up was made and I had to keep chasing. A viewing was eventually arranged, but on the day I received a call saying an offer had already been accepted. Negative experience: Whilst my interactions with Lucie were great, the company did let another renter view a property that was already confirmed to me. Especially after cajoling me to increase my offer which i did. It was disgraceful to see within a day the property go to someone else!! It was outrageous to see this happen especially in Teddington. I was terribly upset as i had cancelled viewing other properties. Whilst agents are known to be less honest most of the time, I’m not sure how this was allowed!! I cant say the emails were very professional either. Ive never had this happen before and ive been renting for 20 yrs plus.

Positive experience: We have had to redo the letting contract 3 times as the agency sent us different terms (expiry, rental increases, break clauses) than what they accepted in our offer, which was quite a bit frustrating. We are now first month in the house managed by the agency and so far they are quite proactive to get the house in a good standard as well as responsive to issues we have raised after coming in. 3/5 on contract set up and 5/5 on property management.

Fantastic experience: We were tenants at a property managed by Lucie White for 3.5 years and had the most wonderful and stress free time. The staff are extremely caring, friendly and organised. All ongoing repair and maintenance work was carried out within a 24-48 hour notice. For self help tasks (something we could fix ourselves), the staff would not shy away from being available on WhatsApp video for guidance even at late hours or holidays. Finally, our check out process was fantastic, where we really felt like Lucie guided us through the process so that we could minimise any deductibles from our deposit. We doubt if we would have gotten this service from large/ established letting and property management agencies. Would highly recommend them!

Lucie was such an easy choice for us - from the moment she visited the flat I was sure that she was someone who would genuinely care for the property, rather than just seeing us as another file. She (and the rest of her team - they’re all great!) are always happy to deal with my never ending series of SFQs, explaining exactly what was needed from us and arranging all the necessary inspections and certificates. Our flat was rented the day it launched, and they achieved a really good price for us. They’ve made the move abroad a little bit easier and given us real peace of mind - absolutely recommended.
