Fantastic experience: Sarah, Adam & Sophie – what an incredible team! Having dealt with many estate agents over the years, I can honestly say that the team at Harris & Lee in Weston-super-Mare are quite exceptional. From the very beginning, Sarah, our Senior Negotiator, together with Adam and Sophie, gave us a level of service that went far beyond anything I would ordinarily expect from an estate agent. We were in contact virtually every single day. Communication was outstanding. Calls were returned, updates were given, questions were answered and, importantly, we were never left wondering what was happening. Our circumstances were slightly unusual because this wasn't simply about purchasing a first property. For the person buying it, this home was going to change her life, and the team understood that. There were several viewings and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Adam even went back to the property to take measurements for curtains so that everything could be prepared. These are small things on paper, but when somebody is trying to organise an important move, they make an enormous difference. There were a few frustrations further along the conveyancing chain, involving the seller's solicitor. Harris & Lee worked incredibly well with our own conveyancers, Knight Richardson. The communication between the two companies was absolutely spot on, and it was wonderful to see two professional teams who genuinely wanted the same thing: to keep matters moving and get this purchase completed, together they overcame all issues with the seller's conveyancer. Sarah, Adam and Sophie remained calm and professional throughout. They chased when chasing was needed, reported back to us, communicated with the solicitors and did everything within their power to prevent unnecessary delays. What particularly impressed me was the way they managed our expectations while, behind the scenes, working incredibly hard to exceed them. They never made unrealistic promises simply to tell us what we wanted to hear. If searches were taking longer than expected, for example, they would be upfront about that. But while giving us a realistic picture, they would also be quietly working away in the background — prompting, communicating and chasing to keep everything running as smoothly as possible. To me, that is an incredibly ethical and professional way to conduct business. If you happen to find a property you love being marketed by Harris & Lee, rest assured that this team won't simply help you find the home you want. They will do everything reasonably within their power to help turn it into a reality as quickly and smoothly as possible. They are polite, courteous, approachable, professional and completely on the ball. After so many conversations, they even recognised who was calling from the telephone number! You don't feel like another transaction or reference number; somehow, they make you feel almost part of the family. At 60 years old, I've dealt with plenty of estate agents and property transactions in my lifetime. I therefore have a pretty good idea of what good service looks like. Harris & Lee are exceptional. I had complete and utter confidence in Sarah, Adam and Sophie throughout the process and would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you to all three of you. You didn't simply help with a property purchase — you understood what that property meant to somebody's future, and you worked incredibly hard to help make it happen. Bravo.

Fantastic experience: This company went above and beyond to help us achieve our listing , they have been very professional with everything they have done for us , they are super trustworthy as they tell it the way it is and don't sugar coat or make promises that can't be achieved. they definitely understand their market and manage expectations to take the stress away .

Fantastic experience: Sarah, Adam and team have recently sold 2 houses for us, one was a nightmare tried exchanging over 4 days, then ended up exchanging and completing on one day, well done guys, highly recommended they talked me through everything and when the chain got complicated on one, Sarah explained it in a email that was easy to understand. You won’t go wrong with them, just don’t use the cheapest solicitor, our solicitor was excellent, others on the chain hmm.

Fantastic experience: I bought a house through Harris & Lee, the one I was initially purchasing fell through and Sarah was so kind in talking me through it and found me 3 other houses to look at the next weekend. From those I found the house I'm now living in. Without the amazing help from Sarah and the whole Harris & Lee team, I know things would have been a lot harder. Hopefully I won't be moving any time soon, but when that time comes I will absolutely be going through these guys. They are fantastic!

Fantastic experience: After a previous estate agent failed to find a buyer for my property I came to Jamie and the team. After the initial visit, they made some changes to the advert and the viewing came thick and fast. The team always ensured that I was happy for a viewing to take place before hand. Following a successful offer, Adam was my main contact at the agent. His communication and explanation of the details was second to none. Always approachable, always happy to take a call and quick response to emails. Following some issues towards the end of the process, Adam was always there, to talk to offer help, advice, and knowledge. He kept going to the end, going above and beyond where I believe other agencies would have just given up following the challenges. Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Harris and Lee highly enough. When dealing with a highly complex chain as ours, and a solicitor that just was not doing there job probably and almost causing the chain to collapse, Adam took control and went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only did he constantly chase all parties throughout, his communication was second to none, and at one stage when all was looking very grim and that the exchange would take place on time, Adam decided to personally visit our buyers and deliver documents to the solicitors to ensure the job got done. One brilliant firm!

Negative experience: Negative experience as buyers after having lost the house sale during the purchase, where Harris and lee lacked taking accountability for a mistake they published on the house advert which they pushed on to the seller and caused the pull out of sale, which we felt was handled unprofessionally and questionably. After a lot of stress and escalation we did get it back, but again frustrating when communication lacked as they forgot to pass on messages to the seller after agreeing what was being purchased for months.

Fantastic experience: Deciding to put our house on the market was a daunting thought for us. Our little house has been our home for many years and we have spent a lot of time and love creating our little bubble away from the rest of the world, with precious memories of family and friends. When Lee, from Harris and Lee came as an impromptu visit to complete a valuation on our home (after what was quite a cold experience the day before with another estate agent). We instantly knew they were the ones for us. The responsiveness, Kindness and professionalism we have received from the entire team has been wonderful. The way our house was marketed; the photos and description were perfect and I would highly recommend them to anyone selling their home.

Fantastic experience: Recently sold another property through Harris and Lee. I've sold several properties through them now and yet again they were excellent. Their marketing photos are superb, and the write-up always enticing, with clear, key, property features. I love the fact that their entire team are fantastic, it doesn't matter who you speak to. They can all help you. And it's particularly useful that they handle the sales progression and keep you regularly informed and fight your corner with solicitors! In my experience not all Estate Agents offer this level of service. On this occasion there was a hold up further up the chai, which Kia, in particular, resolved and enabled me to get the sale completed just in time before that Truss financial disaster! So massive thanks to all at Harris and Lee, again. I highly recommend them.

Lee was a pleasure to deal with; always calm, always polite, always in touch with updates. Harris & Lee Estate Agents came into their own, their after-sales progression management is second-to-none, helping to alleviate stress, expertly negotiating timescales up and down the chain, pursuing solicitors and always keeping everyone informed, across the entire period. It is such a rare occasion that one receives the kind of service, support and professionalism that Harris & Lee Estate Agents provided us. Both sale & purchase were handled by Adam Wintle. He has an extreme abundance of patience and understanding. A huge thank you Adam, for your professionalism, mentorship, honesty, hard work and attention to detail. We were viewing 2 properties that day, all the way from Reading but the first property was with a different estate agent in Plymouth, who wasn't so understanding! Anyway, we just about made our appointment time in Worle and was met by the lovely bubbly lady agent (sorry I can't remember your name) She was so nice to myself, husband and our son. Was extremely knowledgeable about the property and the surrounding area, which put us all at ease. Also had many conversations with Jamie Harris who again was extremely helpful and not at all pushy.
