Fantastic experience: DOMVUS, what a great company to sell our house. Under the direction of Greg Carter and his team DOMVS sold our house twice! Immediately after we had given DOMVS the instruction to sell, Spence and Imogen visited to familiarise themselves with our house prior to showing potential customers around. Before the adverts had been published a couple, from the companies “Whisper” list were shown around. Spence negotiated an acceptable price, only for the deal to unfortunately fall through after a few weeks. However, within days Imogen visited with another couple who also liked the house, Imogen negotiated an acceptable price, and the sale proceeded. It took a few weeks, and then the very a determined Marcus became involved to assist getting the sale completed. After a number of very difficult calls to solicitor he did it, and we completed the next day. So well done and thank you for your determination. Finally, whenever l called, no matter who answered the phone they knew immediately my name and the relevant property, very refreshing and showing the professionalism of DOMVS So well done and thank you to all who helped to achieve this sale. Fantastic experience: My experience of buying a property marketed by DOMVS has been excellent from start to finish. The viewings were conducted by Imogen who was helpful, knowledgeable and quick to get answers to supplementary enquiries about the property, showing that she also had a good rapport with the vendors. Following on from the process of offer to acceptance, again remarkably smooth, the internal communication within DOMVS ensured that the sales progression team of Marcus and Nicky were able to help facilitate a speedy and smooth process leading to a successful exchange of contracts. Fantastic experience: We had a genuinely good experience with DOMVS and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. My husband and I live abroad and inherited a property in Dorset, so we worked with both their Lettings and Sales teams over several years. Being overseas, clear communication and responsiveness really mattered, and both teams were consistently reliable and easy to deal with despite the distance and time difference. When we eventually decided to sell, the transition between teams was straightforward, smooth, and well-handled. Throughout the sales process in particular, the team were professional, calm, and thoughtful about coordinating across time zones, which we really appreciated. Overall, a capable and caring team who made what could have been a complicated process feel manageable!

Fantastic experience: I have sold two properties in Dorchester through Domvs and have been really happy with the service and the work they have done for me. Both of my parents passed away within months of each other, and the sales were handled with sensitivity and consideration by Shireen and the Team, and I have to give special mention to Immy and Marcus for keeping me informed and making sure I had the right information. It was a difficult time for me, and I didn't always feel like handling the work involved but the support I received was just what I needed to get the properties sold. I am surprised to read the review left by one of the buyers who wasn't happy, especially as I reduced the price to have the chimney and roof repaired, on the advice of the team, and liaised with two companies to achieve this. I suspect it was the very cold weather that caused the problem with the toilet, it had been there since I was a child, over 50 years ago, but it's a shame it chose that day to fail. I hope the buyers have now managed to resolve the problems and are happy with their new home.

Negative experience: Extremely unprofessional considering they are meant to be one of the “top” estate agents. Very unorganised and none of them ever communicate with each other so you will be going in constant circles with them. They lost our house keys and even tried sending them to the wrong address even though they were given our address multiple times. They don’t listen to anything you say and act dumb constantly. We paid an extra £5k to fix the chimney and they didn’t even fix it….they literally made it worse! And they broke our toilet in our new house and flooded the whole downstairs the day they gave us our keys and just tried to laugh it off like they didn’t care, not even an offer to fix it. Completely disappointed and fuming about how this company delt with us and our new home and how much money we have wasted because of their doings. Would not recommend them to anyone! Very stuck up and unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time I have used DOMVS and would choose them specifically on the personal and supportive approach they use coupled with professionalism. Polly heads the team superbly and Marcus really helped push the process along with an unbeat and approachable style. The team handled the viewings of our property fantastically and I found Christina and Imy sensitive to the intrusive nature of viewings coupled with managing an old dog in very hot weather. A truly fantastic service and I would certainly use them again.

Anything that needed sorting while living in the property was dealt with efficiently and the trades people used were great. Having found a property to buy we asked if we could vacate early and they were brilliant in accommodating this and found replacement tenants swiftly. Being able to gain some more independence for myself and having my own space has been a big move for me and the whole move has been made both easy and more affordable thanks to the help of the rentals team. Alison in particular has been a fantastic help and great support for my move, even agreeing to meet with me beforehand to discuss affordability and explaining the whole process amazingly. My experience with DOMVS has to be the best to date. I found the whole team to be genuine, helpful and cheerful. Fantastic experience: I am so pleased that I purchased Puddle Cottage through DOMVS. Having moved from my home of 27 years in Cheshire, I rented and viewed 39 properties, first in Berkshire and then Dorset. Truth to tell I was considering taking a break from viewing and had only one more booked viewing – and that was Puddle Cottage! Not all of the many Estate Agents I dealt with had the high standards that I found with DOMVS and I’m grateful to all at the Dorchester branch and the other branches in the county for being so helpful, delightful and professional. Your business practice is disgusting and didnt take either my wife's or my feelings into account for the way you dealt with things . I had another property yesterday morning that had been offered to me , but on the strength of your e mails and paperwork , which even contained the draft contract confirming the deal , we gave the other house up . As I say , totally disgusting way to treat people .

Fantastic experience: Domus handled the sale of my mothers house, and whilst the transaction was far from simple due to buyers dropping out down the chain, Polly and Greg kept me well informed at all times. As a result we had to market the house twice and each time had 8 - 10 viewings booked within 24hrs, so its clear they have very good market intelligence and this enabled them to obtain a good price for the house. If I had another property to sell in the area i would have no hesitation whatsoever in using them again.

Negative experience: I rarely bother to review anything but I feel it important in a world of choice for agents in Weymouth and Dorchester that you are aware that if you are looking to let your property, you're likely to be waiting a while. A senior letting representative of this agent is seemingly judgemental and dismissive. She was border line rude in her contact and that's when she bothered to reply. If you like a '1952 Tory' judgement of your circumstances or needs then this is the agent for you. But don't expect a hard working family who are enthusiastic and interested in your home.

The expertise and guidance provided by DOMVS from the initial enquiry through to the completion date were exemplary. From day 1 *Original letter sent to Mr & Mrs...blamed on ‘system’ *EA viewings - mislead viewers...’ can convert garage....can extend property ‘ its grade 2 listed which they knew *Property ‘disappeared’ from a Rightmove...as many others under their control and they didn’t even notice! *No feedback from viewings..had to chase DOMVS all the time *Promised weekly stats...happened twice...then nothing *Appts not prequalified...details incorrect.....people turning up with children and grandchildren despite supposedly being told only 2 people due to COVID. *Messages left on the phone by negotiator which were totally different reasons for cancelled appt to that of ‘Director’ ....it just goes on.... *Finally, the viewing today had NOT been confirmed...I’d emailed 4 days prior to and asked viewing to be changed as I had two properties of my own to view....they didn’t deal with the email...luckily I called them ...so I cancelled both my own viewings....and the one they booked never turned up! Great service! End of...enough...totally and utterly incompetent. Viewings were ‘bums in seats’ and ‘chuck enough s..t at the wall’ ...complete rubbish ....so I’ve told DOMVS to collect their signage as I do not want to be associated with a bunch of incompetent i....s.

Fantastic experience: Having just exchanged on my sale and purchase I felt it appropriate to share some feedback of my experience with DOMVS. I met with 4 different agents in Weymouth and choose DOMVS partly due to a very confident and clear presentation but also an obvious and genuine desire to market my home with a level of enthusiasm that would have matched my own. I felt I was in good hands. The marketing material / brochure was very impressive and presented the property really well. Great use of drone footage and supporting text gave a really good insight for anyone who may have been interested in viewing the property. Now that I have nearly reached the end of the road / relationship with DOMVS I can say that the most outstanding aspect of the process was the role that Marcus Pound played in managing the various relationships with all stakeholders to keep communications flowing freely and in a timely fashion and also being incredibly pro-active. My solicitors also shared with me that they were very impressed by his professional / calm approach and they thought his role was an important factor in making the whole end to end process as seamless as it could have been in these difficult times. Fantastic experience: DOMVS are the best estate agent around by a country mile! Before putting our house on the market we looked at eight different estate agents and DOMVS were head and shoulders above the others. One of the things that made them stand out was the video tour they made of our house which was a mini ‘Escape to the Country’. Alongside using a professional photographer, they really presented our house at its best on their website. DOMVS made video tours of houses long before Covid made that a necessity. We felt closely involved all the way, including consultation with us in the description of our property and the village. When we accepted an offer Polly, Greg and Marcus worked hard to get the sale through. We were very impressed with their professional attitude throughout. From the very beginning: the first consultation, the valuation, the outstanding video tour, through to the sale, all confirmed that we made the right choice of estate agent.
