Fantastic experience: I have been asked to leave a 5 star review for Steve Evans by his manager. Steve has been the property manager for my flat for the last year or so. He is very personable and has addressed issues in a very helpful and timely manner. I would highly recommend him. Quite a change from the previous experience I had with Leaders. Sadly he is leaving this week. We shall see if the new person can do as well....

From the initial enquiry and viewing with Lauren through to doing the deal and working closely with Tom on all the paperwork, it's been a genuine pleasure. Tom is a terrific guy and was extremely helpful in accommodating my request to re-visit and measure up in the property last night - I told him I'd need 20 minutes and it was over an hour and out of hours, I'm very grateful and would highly recommend.

They are extremely professional, efficient and effective with excellent local contractor relationships to cover all maintenance and repair issues. We have developed a good relationship with the staff who are all very friendly and clever at finding the right sort of tenants for each property. For many years we were with a big well known national land management company and the personal service we receive from Stanleys is not only superior but also much better value. I wish we had found them years ago!

Fantastic experience: When we approached Stanleys to manage our property fully, we were feeling very raw and vulnerable as our experience with the previous managing agent was terrible. They allowed both the tenants to behave badly and the property to degrade really badly - so much so we had to employ a solicitor to rid ourselves of agent and tenants. All of this caused awful stress. I asked James why I should trust him and he replied 'Give me two months'. Immediately on taking over as full managing agent he employed Steve and others to rectify all the neglect the building and garden structures had suffered. He also put us on to Richard who did a great job in the garden, getting it back to almost how it had been. He then found us really good tenants, who appreciate the house, garden and outbuildings. As we are retired and pretty old we wanted to be free of day-to-day issues and we are delighted that both the James have relieved us of this.

It's a small independent organisation, so you speak to the same person each time who's qualified to make quick decisions.
