Fantastic experience: Having moved from London to Brighton recently with lots of experience of estate agents when selling property, I was excited about deciding to make a purchase in Brighton, whilst always cautious of the integrity of estate agents. But Sawyer and Co have been absolutely fantastic in our experience so far with the entire process. We have found them to be honest, helpful and Kieran showed us around the property we fell in love with on 2 separate occasions. He didn't rush us, gave us all the time we needed and had all the answers to our questions ready and was again was above all, honest. We look forward to seeing the rest of the process through with Sawyer and co to achieve our dream home. Thank you to all of the team! Alice and Jonathan

Fantastic experience: Some of the more adaptive, free thinking and modern agents I've seen around in a long time. They have great service, staff who are on the ball, would highly recommend. Well done Adam and the Sawyer & Co team!

Fantastic experience: Thanks to Hassen the property sold very quickly and at a price that we were very happy with. Hassen and his team made the whole process very easy and were very efficient.

Fantastic experience: I have been dealing with Phoebe and I must say she is the most professional agent I have dealt with whilst maintaining a personal relationship. A real asset to any team. Thanks Phoebe

Fantastic experience: Sawyer is the best estate agency in Brighton. We had a great experience with Hassen that has accompanied us in the sale in our beloved flat in Preston Park. A great deal of professionalism and accountability. He / They come with my highest recommendation!

Negative experience: Worst company I ever had to deal with. They don`t reply to complaints, are unprofessional, don`t hold up on agreements and lie during viewings about how things "will get fixed" before you move in.

Negative experience: Most unprofessional agency!! On 2 occasions I have arranged to view a property, I received my confirmation email and a few days later i receive a new email saying my viewing has been canceled as the property has now been let! How unprofessional, they should allow everyone who has arranged to see it then make a decision, so disappointed! Bad system and rude staff feel like when i spoke to them I was a bother

Negative experience: I used Sawyer & Co try to sell a one bedroom flat after being made lots of promises about regular engagement, client focused processes and transparency via metric sharing. They were extremely keen prior to getting my business but then absolutely rubbish after that. I recieved no updates unless I chased repeatedly for them. The website viewings were only shared with me twice in 3 months despite us agreeing weekly updates on numerous occasions. When I did get site of them they were appalling and when I asked for advice on what to do I was told they would move the pictures around. This happened several times. I dropped the price... it had no impact. I saw no evidence of them actively trying to sell the property, it was very much stick it in the selling sites and see who calls us. I tried to raise the issue with the Director, Chris Sawyer, via email and on LinkedIn direct message. I never heard back from him. It was with them for 3 months and resulted in a paltry 4 viewings, this was at a time when the Brighton market was very buoyant, with some experts putting it at a 18% higher selling rate than normal. I gave them notice to take the flat off the market with them and moved to another agency. We have had 5 viewings in the first week alone. Do not use them, it seems both their staff and management are happy to sit back and let people come to them. This is not what I would expect from an agency that were hoping to take thousands of pounds from me for 'selling' the property, should someone stumble upon it and ask them if they could buy it.

Fantastic experience: One of the greatest agency I dealt with

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a tenant of Sawyer and Co for a few years now and have always found them very responsive and helpful, they really go the extra mile compared to other letting agents I’ve dealt with

Fantastic experience: I can only comment on my own experience with Sawyer and Co. I found the staff very polite, friendly and attentive. They did introduce themselves and always responded to my enquiries efficiently and professionally. I have only dealt with Sawyer & Co for a relatively short time but I must say they have been very helpful and always taken the time and effort to resolve any issues that we have had. I am not one to leave reviews generally, but on this occasion, I genuinely felt that they deserved some positive feedback! I fully understand that not everyone has had a great experience but I truly have. I am a firm believer that sometimes people are having a bad day, and we never know what is going on in their lives. I am delighted by the service that I have received and would recommend them without hesitation. I'm sorry to hear that some people haven't enjoyed the same service as myself, but sometimes they are under extreme pressure. I will very happily continue to deal with Sawyers!

Fantastic experience: Have recently viewed a couple of properties with Sawyer and Co. and found them to be very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I have found Sawyer & Co super helpful in the process of finding somewhere to rent in Hove. I had the pleasure of Grace helping me along the way, she was professional, attentive & really listened to my needs. I can’t thank her enough. Would defiantly recommend!

Positive experience: I’m a tenant of one of their flats since 3.5 years ago and although the renting process was difficult due to me being a newly self employed person and foreigner, they helped me a lot and I was able to finally rent the flat. And throughout the time I’ve been their tenant they’ve responded quite quick and efficiently to the issues that have surfaced. I’m specially very happy with my current agency contact Kyle Keating.

Fantastic experience: Did quite a few viewings with them, they were always on time, very friendly and easy to talk to plus got back my follow up questions very promptly

Positive experience: Probably the best Estates Agents I've used. Very professional, great looking ad and decent staff that care about their jobs. Special shout out to Harry who is indeed a real asset to the firm. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Sawyer and Co were helpful throughout the buying process and helped to move the sale along when things had been stuck. Ashley was professional, informative and always approachable. I would recommend buying with Sawyer and Co.

Negative experience: Making this as short as possible since i hate writing reviews, but I don't want others to go through the same stress my husband and I experienced. Rude from the start - waited for two weeks to view one flat, we had no problem with that but the customer service was non existent as I tried to ask some questions as to why it wasn't available. employees can't even remember to state their names when you call. Oh, and don't expect them to call you back when they say they will.

Fantastic experience: Sawyer & Co are a joy to work with. Their staff are incredibly efficient and will resolve any query without any trouble. A highly professional company.

Fantastic experience: Sawyer & Co were the first estate agents I got in contact with when I moved back to Brighton after some time away, they have been amazing to deal with over the last number or months - from finding an apartment to moving, my current property manager Emma has been incredibly helpful and at times a life saver, I am so grateful that I got in touch with these guys while trying to find a place of my own. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Lee and the gang at Sawyers & Co were superb. Straight talking and they really put the effort into selling our house. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: I looked at 26 flats before finding the right one. Sawyer & Co have been professional, they kept communications flowing and were always there when I needed them. Will suggest to use their services!

Fantastic experience: I had been looking for a property for a long time in the Brighton area when I was shown a property in Peacehaven by Adam of Sawyer and Co. I had looked, that day, at several homes that were not only inaccurate to their web details but I was also rushed, discounted and felt like they did not care. Instantly Adam made me feel relaxed, comfortable and at ease. He was knowledgable of the property and genuine if he did not know answers to various questions. I was able to view the property again with ease and again felt that I was a cared for buyer and not a money pit. I would heartily recommend this company and most likely come back to them for my own business affairs.
