Truestays®

Negative experience: Prestige Point, Liverpool (Truestays) – An absolute disgrace! This was our first ever Airbnb stay, two couples celebrating an anniversary and it wasn’t the rain that dampened our trip to Liverpool, it was Truestays. The apartment looked great on pictures, decorated nicely, but the reality was shockingly neglected and falsely advertised. • Kitchen had THREE mugs, THREE forks, THREE knives, THREE spoons. Four adults could not sit down for a single meal or coffee together without washing up mid-bite. Kitchen walls had old food splashes and stains. • Bedroom lamps had missing lampshades – just bare glaring bulbs. • The sofa was completely broken: Frame collapsed, wooden slats on the floor. Very dangerous and our complaint to truestays was ignored. • “Free parking” was the biggest con. No permit provided despite being advertised. Truestays told us to either risk fines and they would “have them cancelled” or walk 30 minutes to a multi-storey carpark… We booked this apartment for the private parking. We now have two £100 parking tickets that four weeks later, are still not cancelled despite endless “we’re dealing with it” messages. We had to seek assistance from Airbnb, in which they had to refund us £200 because Truestays are simply incompetent to help and the fines needed paying. • The front-door coded lock was infuriating – Confusing instructions, took up to 10 minutes every single time we got in or out. Their only “compensation”? A late check out and a pathetic 10% off voucher for a future stay.. As if we’d ever give them another penny and frankly an insult to our complaints. Truestays communication was poor, zero ownership, zero respect for their guests, full of empty promises. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!

Fantastic experience: Really professional company, great communication, very clean and spacious accommodation. Felt really safe, secure and private. I will definitely be booking with Trustays again soon - a real 5 star experience from start time finish.

Fantastic experience: I recently stayed at the Chorlton Road Stoke airbnb and Ollie, Mary,Vren were so helpful throughout. The accommodation was clean modern and comfortable and the customer service brilliant. We needed a home to stay in while we waited for our house purchase to go through. We had a delay and Truestays went above and beyond to help us extend our stay.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I enjoyed a lovely stay at the accommodation in Ivory Close, Hanley near Stoke on Trent. The house was very clean and well maintained. Location was convenient for centre of Stoke on Trent and the local amenities adequate for our stay. When we return to Stoke on Trent there is a good chance we will stay here again. Thank you Ollie and Vren.

Fantastic experience: Lovely house, and amazing host. Everything you need for a pleasant stay.

Fantastic experience: Having been scammed in the past through a certain accommodation "booking" website, true stays offered me total peace of mind and were in constant communication during my stay making sure I could focus on my time away!

Fantastic experience: Fabulous accommodation..

Fantastic experience: Excellent place

Fantastic experience: The team were great! From start to finish I felt looked after by Ollie and the Truestays team! Communication was clear and I had no issues. Didsbury loft is decorated beautifully and is in a great location! I can’t wait to stay again

Fantastic experience: Had a fabulous week staying in Nursery House, Stoke. House was cosy and warm, carpet in living room could do with replacing because it was very marked, kitchen tap was loose and also the toilet seat but these can easily be rectified by host (I did inform them at the time) the only downside was the lack of hanging space for clothes although there are lots of drawers to use, I used the clothes airer to hang stuff up. The kitchen is very well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. Chairs in living room were suitable enough for a week long stay, overall it suited my purpose and I really enjoyed my time there visiting family. Would definitely stay here again in future

Fantastic experience: Great accommodation, responsive host, good location. Clean house and ideal for families

Fantastic experience: I stayed with Truestays at Penkhull road in Stoke-on-Trent for around six weeks for a job away from home. It was brilliant. Well priced and a great location near supermarkets. It was wonderful.

Fantastic experience: WOOOWW!!!! Clean accommodation, one of the best customer service even 5 Star hotels cannot provide the same level. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE UK WITH FAMILY.

Fantastic experience: Spent 2 weeks in Greydawn House - 4 Bedroom, whilst visiting the UK. This house met all our needs, with a bonus of being close to the centre of Town. Dealing with the owners was brilliant, you pose a question or query and you have a rapid response to ease your minds, cannot speak highly enough of them. For service and accommodation a clear 10/10.

The communications were regular and professional, with a secure webpage for the specific details required for the stay after booking. The property was as described and clean, neat and tidy. Was the perfect base for our trip. They even messaged during the stay to check everything was OK. Would use again

Fantastic experience: We had such a nice stay we would definitely recommend. There were 6 of us. My adult family and I stayed to go to Alton Towers. It was a great location, only 30 minutes' drive from the park. The property looks exactly like it does on the website. Clean, modern, and spacious. We were impressed. The 2 showers and 3 toilets were an added bonus for getting ready! (as you can imagine) The hosts were great. Very responsive. We would stay again. Many thanks

Fantastic experience: This Airbnb is a gem and a testament to what a perfect stay should be. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Fantastic experience: We have just left one of the true stays properties after a 7 month long stay, whilst our house was being repaired from a flood. I have to say during a very difficult time it couldn’t have been made any easier to stay here. The home it’s self is beautiful and perfect for a long stay or short stays. All of the staff were fabulous. Nothing was too much to ask, and the response was always very quick. Thank you everyone at true stays you are fantastic.

Fantastic experience: We had a perfect experience staying in this house for a month while a close relative was in hospital at the Royal Stoke. It's a 10min walk to the hospital, 5mins to amenities in Hartshill and surprisingly short walk to Newcastle too. Truestays were great hosts, responding quickly to pictures of minor maintenance issues and sent someone round to fix them immediately. We only flagged them for deposit reasons but they were quickly put right. Definitely recommend. House was comfortable, modern, great shower and a nice quiet area.

Fantastic experience: Beautiful apartment in a very peaceful and quiet environment. Everything just as described in the ad! We felt really at home there and didn’t want to go for most of the activities we planned. It felt like a home away from home. The kitchen had all the supplies one would need when away from home. The living room also felt really cozy. We really loved it there I must say. And another good thing it wasn’t too far from the popular Waterworld. Host was very fast in responding when messaged. He also left clear instructions on how to locate the place and enter the apartment. We will definitely be staying here again whenever we are in the area.
