Fantastic experience: My wife and I had spent nearly 3.5 years trying to sell our house using different agents both locally and online through some very difficult market conditions. Karen Fogarty from Oakfield Heathfield came to our house one afternoon proudly claiming she could sell it for us. Naturally we were sceptical to the point of disbelief but despite lacking in confidence we gave them the chance for the summer period as Karen and her friendly colleague Connor Barker offered sincerity, confidence and proactivity promising to work their data thoroughly and report back to us each week. Connor visited us separately familiarising himself with the house as well in order to carry out personal viewings as well. Sure enough and true to their promise and with intensive diligent activity we got viewings immediately and within just a couple of months it was sold. Fantastic experience: Our sale and onward purchase was fraught with frustrations and delays and three collapsed chains. We did not feel the need to change agent over the two years we were selling and buying, as the sales manager, Karen Fogarty, was doing her best to secure new buyers when chains collapsed and communicated well. She was patient when I felt the need to rant about the system we have in England for property sales and purchases, understanding that it was sheer frustration and showing empathy with our position . Finally, after much perseverance, the sale and purchase have completed and we would recommend Oakfield in Heathfield in the future.

Fantastic experience: I requested a property valuation from Oakfield Estate agents via their website on a Sunday evening and was contacted by Georgia first thing the following morning to take some details and arrange a visit. Karen Fogarty visited our home a few days later, she had clearly done a lot of research ahead of the visit and gave a comprehensive explanation of her valuation. She had several other example properties that Oakfield had recently sold in the local area (detailed on a large tablet) and left us in no doubt at all that her valuation was fair and accurate. We have since decided that it isn’t quite the right time to move, but when the time does come – we will definitely be reapproaching Oakfield. I would thoroughly recommend their services! :)

Fantastic experience: We would (and we have) totally recommended Oakfield. As we hadn't sold a house for many years we were very impressed with the service that Oakfield supplied. When Karen came to first see us, she explained how the house would be marketed, and what would happen every step of the way through until completion. She is obviously very knowledgable and knows the housing market well. Georgia showed the potential buyers around, and our neighbours even complemented on the way she greeted each buyer. She passed on any comments as soon as she could to us. When we had accepted an offer, Jo took us over and each week she would speak to us to keep us informed on how the selling process was coming along and she was in touch with the buyers so was able to pass on any enquiries either parties had. All the members of staff in the Heathfield office were friendly, helpful and made a possible stressful process into an easy experience.

Oakfield were my 3rd agents after a terrible experience with the first and the second just wasn't getting anywhere. So to say I was apprehensive when Oakfield came into the scene is an understatement HOWEVER! They have been amazing start to finish, from booking viewings to giving feedback to answering my silly questions they have been brilliant. In the later stages I have had lots of trouble with the conveyancing company (that's a whole other thing) but Jo has been just simply amazing helping me navigate them and getting answers we needed! You cannot go wrong with Oakfield they truly do care and will work tirelessly to get your sale and help wherever and whenever they can. I am one happy bunny!!
