Negative experience: We were extremely disappointed with this estate agent. After numerous viewings with no successful sale, we decided to move to another company. We were then told we couldn't leave because there was a signed contract, despite us having no knowledge or awareness of ever signing such an agreement. This caused unnecessary delays, wasted our time, and was a very frustrating experience. Please read the reviews carefully before choosing this company and make sure you fully understand what you're agreeing to.

Negative experience: I cannot recommend this estate agent based on my experience. I believe I was misled about their ability to sell our property, resulting in a significant waste of time. Promises made at the outset were not reflected in the service we ultimately received. Communication and customer service deteriorated once it became apparent they were not making progress with the sale. Calls and messages were often ignored, leaving us feeling unsupported and frustrated throughout the process. My advice to anyone considering this company is to proceed with caution. Take the time to read independent reviews and do your research before instructing them. Based on my experience, I found them to be unreliable, unprofessional, and unwilling to provide the level of service they initially promised.

Fantastic experience: I really can't fault the amazing experience from Wilson Peacock and especially from Alice. From the word go, she is such a positive, upbeat person with a can do attitude. We had other estate agency selling our house, so she came in 2 months after, and when she came round to view our house, provided a study of houses that have sold around here as well and said this should be straight forward.. she was not lying! She managed to sell it from her first client who came to visit! Honestly, thank you so much Alice! I will easily be recommending you to others.

Negative experience: Awful communication and service. Once the tenancy agreement was signed, they completely ghosted me and stopped responding to emails.

Negative experience: Unfortunately, our experience with this agency was disappointing. We had arranged a viewing for a property and were later contacted to reschedule, as we were told the vendor was on holiday. We specifically asked whether there were any earlier availabilities and were assured that we would be among the first buyers to view the property. However, just two days before the scheduled viewing, we were informed that the property had already been sold. When we contacted the agency for clarification, we were told there had been a mix-up with another nearby property. While we understand that misunderstandings can happen, the situation was frustrating and left us unclear about how our enquiry had been handled.

I've been fighting for months to get my money back, and it's been an absolute nightmare. They will string you along, ignore your calls, and flat-out refuse to return what's rightfully yours. Do not make the same mistake I did. Stay far away from Wilson Peacock Bedford. They are nothing but thieves.

Negative experience: Good morning. I think the way they treat me is bad. I'm talking about my experience with them. I've been paying my rent with them for 4 years and yesterday I went to get my updated contract and they were very rude. The opposite of when I went for the first time. I don't recommend that agency to anyone, especially to foreigners like me. They told me to give them the key so some clients could see it. After more than 100 bicycles, nobody wants this house because it's damp, with broken taps and walls that are falling apart. I took it like that and I've been maintaining it and painting it twice a year without complaining even once. And they threaten me that they're going to talk to the owner to evict me for not giving them the keys so that he can come and open it and show it to the clients. I can't give them the keys because I have my partner and my 4 children living there and I told them that if they want to kick me out, send it to me in writing and I'll be happy to look for another house in another agency...

It has been nine weeks since I moved out, and they are still holding my deposit without any valid justification. They have been attempting to come up with various reasons to withhold a portion of my deposit, which feels both unprofessional and unfair. This situation has placed me in a difficult financial position, as I was counting on the return of my deposit to help with my next steps. The lack of communication and transparency from the agency has only added to my frustration. I would not recommend Wilson Peacock to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy letting agency. I hope others can avoid the same issues I have faced.

Negative experience: Disappointing Experience My partner inquired about a property that had just gone live with an attractive offer of 6 months rent in advance. Initially, she was told that the agent would speak to the landlord and get back to her. Later, she was informed that the place needed painting and would be ready for viewing next week. However, when she called this morning, she was told that all viewings were booked and the property was likely to be taken. Poor communication and a lack of follow-through left us feeling misled. We would not recommend based on this experience.

Fantastic experience: After months of chasing results at another estate agents, Wilson Peacock listed, got 7 viewings and sold our home in just 1 week. They listened to all of our concerns about our previous estate agent and listened to our opinion on our own home. Great team!

Negative experience: Every time either myself or my mum have called the Bedford branch about viewing a house, we’ve gone through to their answering machine which is fine but after leaving multiple messages we’ve never had a reply. Then their head office called me as I was on their system from months back, they booked an appointment for me in branch. Unfortunately on the day I called to cancel it but the guy in branch told me the appointment was never booked in the first place. Such a joke, I won’t bother dealing with them again.

Fantastic experience: After 6 months of frustration and being messed about by several letting agents, Conrad at Wilson peacock came through for us and helped us secure a tenancy on the first property we viewed through Wilson peacock. He's very friendly, professional and communicative keeping us updated throughout the process. I wouldn't recommend anyone else - In fact don't waste your time, just call Wilson peacock and ask for Conrad. Tell him Simon and Kerri sent you, I doubt he'll give us money off our rent but hopefully he'll remember us :)

I have 2 flats they manage for me after Jayne Beard lettings dropped the ball (big time). Never mind, their loss, not mine. I sacked them off and came across to Emily and the team. Fantastic experience: After my property had been on the market for several months with two other estate agents Wilson Peacock approached me asking to put my property on their books, saying that they already had a buyer lined up. Well I gave them a go, and yes they DID actually have a real buyer lined up! Who put in a good offer within 2 days, which I accepted. I found their service to be very good, and I would recommend them. They maybe more expensive than some other agents, but this appears to make them to be more pro-active not only in lining up buyers, but chasing up the sale after the offer has been accepted.

Really appreciate the texts advising of arranged viewings - helps to keep me in the loop. Would be happy to recommend them to other landlords.

Fantastic experience: Sophie was an absolute legend of a Neg. Coming from an estate agent background myself, I know what's required. She was always in contact, always keeping me posted on new property and pushing to make viewings. It's a shame she couldn't find us a property as she was the best I came across - by a long way!
