Fantastic experience: Jake and the team at Mansell McTaggert in Horley represented us in the recent sale of our home. From the outset, we warmed to Jake and his calm, professional demeanour. I’m pleased to report that this was also reflected in his dealings with us throughout the sale process; he had a calming influence during potentially stressful periods and was never less than professional in all aspects of the process. Their fees are very competitive and the quality of their marketing material is high. Communication is excellent and at no point did we feel in the dark or not in control of the process. They took on board our suggestions and preferences, but gently guided us where this was appropriate. Well done, Jake! In summary, they’re an excellent Estate Agent and I’d have no hesitation in recommending the services of Mansel McTaggert Horley to either friends or family.

Negative experience: Called me to arrange a viewing and suggested the time and date (4 days later) so I changed some appointments to make it work. Drove 30 minutes to get to the property and called up and they had no record of the viewing even though it was them that suggested the time and date and confirmed on the phone to me!! They hung up and didn't even try to rearrange. Really poor service and clearly not an agent I would want representing my property when we sell.

Negative experience: Selling the property on the road adjacent to my property. The estate agent, decided to park his car on our own private driveway. When finally confronted he acted as if he didn’t care, was not apologetic in slightest. In fact he was more concerned he would be “late” for his next viewing. Awful company, typical estate agent demeanour, rude and arrogant. Calls to head office will be made and reported.

Fantastic experience: My estate agent was Josh McGee, on first meeting Josh he presented as very professional and knowledgeable about his role, he instilled great confidence in his ability to sell my property. Communication skills were excellent and thoughtful. After the sale of my property I can honestly say I was very impressed with Mansell Taggart as a first class agency and would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I moved into our house last Friday and it was sold with Mansell McTaggart Estate Agents. Our experience as buyers with Mansell McTaggart has been consistently excellent. In particular, my wife and I communicated a lot with Joe and he was superb from start to finish. He communicated with the seller's solicitor when we needed items chased by our solicitor and he provided us with timely updates. Negative experience: Maybe ok at selling new builds, they are easy. Anything a little different and their way to sell is by making you reduce the price considerably, ‘won’t get a better offer’. Question whether they actually work for the buyer or just to shift houses!

Whilst I was expecting a 4+ month process, they found 10 potential buyers within a week, had an open house to avoid any disruption, then had offers which gave us the number for. Negative experience: Slow, incompetent and uninformed of what is going on. Agreed viewing on a property with Tom George, doesn't show up, uncontactable and even their office doesn’t know where he is?! Told to knock on the door after waiting for 15 minutes as the vendor will show us around no one home. Re-arranged a viewing and now the property is gone. Wouldn’t recommend as they are unable to facilitate the job they are professing to do.
