Fantastic experience: We are uni students living in a uni house, whenever we get a problem the Let’s Move staff are always so friendly and have a quick response and like to get it resolved as soon as possible - this is amazing!! Ross came it to fix our boiler today and we have finally got heating, thank you so much!! And thanks to Neil for getting back to our emails and for sorting the issues out! If there are any uni students out there searching for student accommodation outside of university, let’s move are the people to contact, they keep you feeling safe and are always around to talk about any problems regarding the house. Negative experience: Pretty good experience with the representative who showed the property, polite and informative with good attention to questions and broad local knowledge. The rest of the experience was below average. Generic catch all emails and very slow to follow up post viewing emails or telephone calls. No attempt to understand personal requirements and a long way from a tailored service that one might reasonably expect of a reputed small town agent.

As a landlord with previous endless problems letting out my properties I had lost confidence in letting managements. All of this is really helpful and appreciated for an adult with a disability, I couldn’t recommend Let’s Move more. They were very understanding and inclusive of clients with disabilities. Signing legal documents and accessing forms can be stressful as a neurodivergent person, but Liz made me feel at ease. We can’t wait to collect our keys on Friday. Thanks again.

Negative experience: Avoid at all costs! It is essential to read the tenants act 2019 before engaging into contract with this scumbag company. They will try to break all the laws! Make sure to take as many photos when moving in as possible. Wendy none stop hounded us, trying to coerce us into getting rhe house professionally cleaned. Despite it very clearly stating in the tenants act 2019 that a landlord cannot force tenants to professionally clean the house. Next she tried to over charge us dramatically on scuffs on the wall. We had quite a few tenants in the house and the walls were painted with a really cheap low quality paint that would scuff if you even looked at it. She tried charging us for 19 walls, which is disgusting. Next she tried charging us for cleaning despite not actually having an invoice or any cleaning carried out, and she was going to charge us for cleaning after all the decorators had gone through. The next malicious charge Wendy tried to charge us with was late rent payments. Once we pointed out in the tenants act that it says you cannot charge for late rent payment until after 14 days she very quietly cowardly changed it without saying. Our whole experience with let's move was horrible. It took ages to get anything fixed in the house, and constantly throughout our tenancy had problems with the fire alarm waking us up at 2am, and not once was there any bit of sympathy or apology. We would have workmen and inspectors just randomly walk into our house without 24 hours notice. It will not be long before someone takes them to court and gets them prosecuted for their constant dirty illegal tactics. They solely rely on their monopoly of student housing in Newport and very much abuse it!
