The only thing I will say to help them up their game, a bit more info on the flats heating / hot water settings and utility rate timings (which settings and time of day for cost effectiveness) would go that extra distance. My wife and I were keen to move to Battle quickly, as we had a fast-approaching due date for our baby, and wanted to provide time to settle in before the arrival. Castle Estates were efficient and professional, providing paperwork and advice in detail and on time, as well as being human and helpful with any problems or questions we had. They managed to take us from our first viewing of the house to moving in just 18 days later, which we were delighted with. Fantastic experience: What can I say eh?? From the moment we met Peter outside the property he was showing us, he made us feel like we had known him all our life! Once back at the office, all the staff were fantastic! Particularly Kim as she was the lady who dealt with us mainly. My hubby and I are in our 60s and are not in the least bit Internet savvy but she was fantastic about this! She took all the worry out of this side of it for us! Never have I met such a kind and understanding lady and of course team too as everyone in Castle estates has the ability to make you feel at home and in a family environment! We have never rented before and they just took the worry away! If we ever have to do this again, we will use Castle estates again...100% Best letting/management company out there I reckon!! go Castle go!!

Fantastic experience: If I am honest I haven’t had any dealings with estate agents for over 20 years so perhaps I don’t have anything to compare but in actual fact when I really think about the service I received and the way the whole process was conducted I truly count my blessings. I was abroad when I first saw the property I wanted, I booked a viewing for the day after I landed and was greeted in a professional manner, the viewing had to I assume follow a lot of guidelines due to ongoing circumstances- these were adhered to way above my expectations and I left knowing that was the property I wanted. Following the viewing the process was quick, easy and flowed very naturally, I had fantastic communication throughout and castle estates acted above and beyond. I have now been here 6 months, and recently renewed contracts again, this was effortless with all my questions answered immediately and with confidence. Castle estates also manage my property. I have fortunately only needed a couple of minor things addressed- again this was done almost immediately and I always have the confidence knowing that will continue in the same way. I have nothing but good things to say and will always recommend whole heartedly, a true credit as a company.

Negative experience: Poor Customer Service Poor Company Typical Estate Agents you hear all the bad stories about. Disappointed that I can't rate 0 stars. It took over 20 days for our deposit to be returned (compared to the agreed 10 days) - I sent numerous emails and never received a reply. I called to be told the manager was on annual leave and would contact me on his return. 2 weeks later and no contact. Once the deposit was returned we were deducted £25 for an admin fee, which is disgusting considering the amount of time it took to be returned. Property was let to us without fire alarms, damp in 3 rooms, no underlay under carpet and poorly cleaned. (cobwebs, dust and dirt everywhere) - we also had a serious issue with rats and flooding. All problems reported to Castle Estates and ignored or told 'we will look into this'. Poor service. DO NOT trust these estate agents. Typical money grabbing company.
