They were very accommodating regarding viewings and didn't restrict us on the amount of time in the property which we feel is really important when trying to get a feel for a property. The staff liaised well with our estate agent and solicitor and always tried to keep us informed of any progress we were not aware of. We found the staff to always be professional and approachable. They always answered the phone (something that is not consistent with other agents) and were polite and helpful without exception. We had regular weekly updates, either a call or an email from them and our sale progressed without a hitch. This is our second time using this agent and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

Fantastic experience: We were exceptionally pleased with the whole process from the initial discussion which had no pressure put upon us to choose Honeywells , to the photographing and marketing , which showed our house to its best and finally the organisation of viewing as which took the pressure away from us. Negative experience: I enquired about a house. The house was under offer. A few days later I received a phone call to say the buyer had lost their buyer. I was asked if I wanted to view it. I knew I wanted it and put in an offer there and then. The offer was accepted and property removed from the market. I instructed a solicitor, got a mortgage in principle. Over the weekend, the previous buyer found another buyer. I was informed the vendor was going ahead with the previous buyer again. I received a phone call from Rachel initially who was extremely flippant about the decision with no sympathy. I received another phone call from Chris. I was devastated as have recently encountered major health issues and needed an easier house to manage. Honeywells couldn’t have cared less. Sickened by their attitude and lack of professionalism.

Positive experience: We were kept informed every step of the way with our sale, and purchasing our new property. The office were always happy to help with any questions we had.

Fantastic experience: All the staff at Honeywell in Clitheroe have been brilliant throughout the sale of our house. From our initial meeting, taking the best photos possible, accompanying viewings, giving us feedback, negotiating the sale and then liaising between us and the solicitors during the conveyancing process. The best thing for me was the information they had to hand when you called the office or emailed for an update. It didn’t matter who you spoke to, they have a system where notes are updated as they acquire them and these are referred to instantly. They put our mind at ease, were encouraging and provided a very good service. I would certainly use them again.

Our sale was somewhat protracted which was frustrating at times but the agents were tenacious in chasing things up with the solicitors to keep things moving. I misread the water meter too and they followed this up for me after the sale. Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend Honeywell.

Negative experience: Buying a house that they were selling amounted to unnecessary stress & pressure towards the end when issues should have been dealt with by just the solicitors.

Negative experience: Lied through their back teeth! Had an offer accepted, off the table, then went slithering back to others for a higher offer!

Negative experience: Very bad practice of encouraging gazumping. Really should know better and don’t deserve the business.

Negative experience: Let you down on viewings at last minute or don't tell you at all when you travel 40 miles to view a property. My sister, brother in law, myself and my mother have all experienced this. Not impressed and pointless emailing.

Fantastic experience: We've used Honeywell's on a few occasions throughout 2020 and find the service we receive from them exemplary! Chris and his team will go above and beyond to ensure that nothing feels like any trouble. As a business we can be quite time taxing, and at no point have we seen a drop in their commitment to our sales because of it, and most importantly we've seen the sales come through on plots where others couldn't! Given an estate agent should be chosen on both their success of selling, and their service throughout the process . . . . Honeywell's are first class at both!

Negative experience: My partner has recently used this company in relation to the sale of his house which fell through due to the 'chain' breaking at the final moments. I was living at the property with my partner at the time it occurred, having previously sold my house in another area. We were uneasy about several aspects of the sale so started doing our own research on the buyer. We were shocked and horrified to find out that her property was still FOR SALE on the internet with online estate Agents. This was subsequently checked and proved to be the case. How could she be buying my partners house when her own was still for sale? This was at the point where we should have been ready to complete! We have been left battered and bruised by the whole experience, not to mention the financial ramifications. I can't help feeling that the front of house staff at the Clitheroe office weren't asking the right questions of the buyer and, more importantly, not checking the information she provided. I've thought long and hard about posting this review and I try to be a fair person. However, I am having difficulty in coming to terms with what happened and I feel that there are some training issues with regard to some of the staff at Honeywells.

Fantastic experience: I am a landlord and want to personally thank the ladies at the Barrowford office... They are kind, understanding, efficient and thorough. They deal with any issues immediately ensuring that the tenant and the landlord needs are taken into consideration... I also want to pass on my thanks to the contractors they use... I have been very happy with the work they have done in my property at a reasonable price the charge... they have saved me from having a nervous breakdown!! thank you all ... brilliant team work
