Positive experience: Everything is okay, and I’m happy with the place. However, I noticed an issue with the wall paint. It looks like the wall may have been exposed to moisture, and looks like it’s starting to peel. I’ve taken some pictures from yesterday for reference. I think it would require some maintenance to prevent it from getting worse.
Fantastic experience: I can't fault the service I have received, usually being hands on Landlord. I like to make sure everything is done to high standards. So it was refreshing to work with Alex, who has a wealth of knowledge and experience, and contacts, which can help you in all your property needs. He understands as he is a landlord himself

Fantastic experience: had a great experience with LifeBot Lettings in Dover. Alex Smith and the team made the whole moving process smooth and straightforward from start to finish. Fantastic experience: I’ve been with Lifeboat Lettings for the last 10 months and ongoing, my experience has been really positive throughout. At one point I was asked if I could move out a week earlier due to a situation, but the team, especially Jennie property manager and paul operations manager , handled it professionally, offered to reimburse me for that week, and made sure everything was taken care of. They fully assisted with the move, helping transport all my belongings and making what could have been stressful feel easy, they really do go above and beyond to ensure your comfort.

Fantastic experience: I searched months to get a place to move into, until I saw the one posted by the agenct. I wasn’t around to have a physical viewing, but a virtual viewing was arranged for me. The staffs are very professional, the accommodation is very neat and well maintained, I’ve not seen a shared house that neat. The location as well? Perfect for me.

Negative experience: Poor service from agency, although Jenny was quite helpful and sweet & have always helped through any problems. The person who picks up the call if you want to book the viewings is nothing but absolutely rude, and have an attitude. Also Idk if the managers were similar from different company as both cane around but they really cut deposit and give none back to you with no immediate explanation & had to email multiple times..

Negative experience: Viewed, applied, completed referencing then paid a holding deposit for a room share. Informed the next day over the phone with 0 care that the landlord has decided to cancel and go with a different, previous tenant, who seemingly came out of the blue, there had been no mention of previously, and wasn’t with me and another gentleman who viewed the property. I’d encourage anyone who reads this review to refuse to pay them a holding deposit if they decide to go with them as clearly it means nothing and doesn’t secure your tenancy. Now left with less than a week to scramble and find somewhere new all because agents and landlords make the rules and us prospective tenants are utterly powerless to do anything about it. Thanks for the worst experience with an agent I’ve ever had!

Fantastic experience: Lifeboat Lettings have been absolutely brilliant. They have done everything so quickly and efficiently and always been on hand to answer any questions we’ve had. Fantastic experience: Utterly refreshing and human in every interaction. Fielded our squiggly circumstances and fiddly needs deftly and efficiently. Can’t recommend them highly enough - since securing our place they’ve gone above and beyond to additionally address the nice-to-haves with a pace that can only be described as impressive. If you’re fed up with dealing with faceless processing and computers saying no, this lot have an alternative that works.

Negative experience: Rent the property if you looking for filthy house, where cleaning company doesn’t clean, rats are taking over communal areas including kitchen and your reports are being ignored if you don’t keep chasing. Smaller issues like no hot water or lack of internet are nothing compared to seeing rats running around house. I need to live at friends houses or hotels as I do not feel safe at all at this property .

Fantastic experience: Have worked as a contractor for several years now and have found them easy to deal with. Very quick to either rectify problems in house or notify a contractor to carry out the works on their behalf. Fast response to any quotes for works where speed is of the essence.
