Fantastic experience: Moved into our Cheshire Lamont managed property yesterday. I will be posting another review later on if I remember to cover how we get along with them managing the property, but in terms of the actually finding us a house, they have been incredible. We viewed a few different houses over a number of months with Cheshire Lamont and other letting agents, and Ben from Cheshire Lamont was easily the friendliest, most knowledgeable about the properties, most professional in terms of contacting us, and all-round best agent we met. He was the only one who actually remembered us on repeat viewings, and one of the very few who contacted us when he said he would, always with the information we'd asked for. Even when we applied for properties and didn't get them, Ben was very nice and always had another alternative property or option for us to look at, as well as advice about the area, landlords, individual houses and terms of the contract we'd be entering into. When we did get accepted for a property, the contracts and payments process handled by Nadine was quick, with communication being fast, informative and clear at every stage. Turnover from knowing we got the house to moving day was 2 weeks and that was with a weeks delay! (which wasn't for any negative reason either) Had a small problem with the boiler on move day, rang up and it was resolved within an hour, so signs are looking good for the contract in the long term too! TL;DR - Everybody is a delight to deal with, and you're in excellent hands as a tenant. Thanks! :)

Due to a family bereavement we needed to relocate as swiftly as possible to rent closer to family; we were looking for swift viewings, prompt responses to any queries we had and generally just a little awareness for the sensitivity of our situation - having spoken to a few estate agents and arranging a few viewings I must say no one was as friendly or as accommodating as the team at Cheshire Lamont in dealing with our move. Ben accommodated a speedy viewing for us which he did not need to and which we're very grateful for, and he was very clear on the process which turned out to be as smooth as he'd explained it - he was a cut above the rest. The team who our application was outsourced too were really friendly and helpful (despite us peppering them with a few calls!) and Nadine was really hands on and professional. Within 2 days of us viewing the property everything was in place. Negative experience: I would not recommend temples crewe to anyone. I had nothing but trouble since day one with them. It all started when we were suppose to have a fridge freezer paid for by the landlord. My partner agreed with Scott that we would deduct this from our first month's rent at least 3 times. When it came to our landlord reciving his rent he was shocked to find £150 less than what he expected. As agreed with Scott we deducted this from the first month's rent. To our surprise the landlord was told by temples they told us he would pay us by cheque?? And made us out like liars to cover up their shoddy work. Their communication was non existent, I would of received a call from the Queen in a more timely manner. 4 weeks before moving in I heard nothing until I called them 5 days before moving in. I feel that there is no clear or concise decision making. On the day of moving in I refused to sign a standing order mandate as they said that their not sure about the money for the fridge freezer. Eventually I was allowed the keys without signing the mandate. Upon leaving the shop Scott said in a cocky manner "bye bye" after all the mess he caused not even an apology. Then the cherry on the cake, the day our rent was due was a Sunday meaning on the Monday it would be paid, as we were deducting our fridge freezer we sent a manual payment and our standing order was already set for August. Pretty simple? Until I received a rude text demanding rent! And sending our landlords bank details over a text??? The hilarious thing is our tenancy is 'tenant find' meaning all they do is find the tenant and shouldn't contact us after the tenancy agreement has been signed. Thus said I am not obligated to listen to anything you have to advise. I cannot believe more people haven't wrote bad reviews about Temples. I would give them a wide birth, I wouldn't trust them with my property or money I'd prefer to give Northen rock all my money and hope for the best. I await your reply with bated breath.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Temples from including to Scott Willams who managed my letting and was particularly supportive and communicative during my search for a tenant, have displayed an efficient, professional and personable level of service, which regardless of the industry is always appreciated but not always forthcoming. Taking time to proactively communicate with me on feeding back and assessing prospective tenants in a bid to find the right individuals was a process which engendered a sense of being a team working together rather than an agent merely attempting to tick a box or fulfill a quota. To be recommended.

They wanted to charge us for cleaning it £100 which was already cleaned . They are a joke!!like wolves waiting in the woods Be warned !!!!!

Negative experience: I can't understand why there are no other reviews on this company! There has been a bad leak on the downstairs toilet since we first moved in 5 years ago. They have had 5 different people out to look at it and it is still not right. I redecorated the hole room as the wall paper came off. The wall is so damp the paint scrapes off. I handed my notice in on the property 3 months ago and had to give 3 months notice. We paid 2 months and a month up front at the start of the agreement but now they are chasing us for payment. I asked for a statement of account and got a threatening letter. The property manager is very rude and threatening. I am glad to be handing my keys back this week. I wonder what they do to tenants who don't pay there rent on time for years!!!!!!!
