Foundation Estate Agents

Negative experience: We had ongoing issues with the honesty and support we received from this agency during our purchase. Our independently arranged snagging inspector had a failed visit because the developer forgot the appointment and the property wasn't ready. We were charged £399 by the inspector, in line with his standard terms for a missed visit through no fault of his own. Rather than holding the developer accountable, a staff member phoned our inspector and questioned his honesty about how the booking was made. The inspector later told us this in writing himself, describing it as "concerning." The agency's only response was to suggest the inspector shouldn't be charging us at all, despite this being standard and fair practice for a missed appointment the developer caused. No resolution was ever offered. Separately, when we queried being asked to cover the developer's solicitor's fees, our own solicitor had already explained the general process to us. Our concern was that the developer wasn't following up as agreed to justify the specific charge. Despite this, we were told the agency was "surprised our solicitor hadn't explained it", which wasn't accurate, since it had been explained. Our actual query was never properly addressed. Our experience was that when we raised legitimate concerns, the agency's instinct was to defend the developer rather than engage honestly with what we were telling them.

Fantastic experience: Great service from a buyers perspective. Jon & the team guided us through from start to finish, great communication throughout. Nice to have an estate agent that's proactive!

Fantastic experience: Foundation represented our vendor but, as a purchaser, I found them really helpful and no request was too much. I’d certainly recommend them for sales or purchasers

Fantastic experience: I recently used Foundation Estate Agents to sell my late father's house, being the executor. My contact was Jon Lawson who was excellent throughout in what turned out to be a difficult sale. I cannot speak highly enough of him. Michael Whale

Fantastic experience: I very wisely placed the sale of my mother's bungalow in Herne Bay with the Foundation sales team. I was more than impressed with their professional approach. Kevin was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with, and the whole team worked together without any mishaps. The brochure was good, with excellent photographs by Chris, which showed the property in its best light, and this seemed to work - attracting a buyer in a difficult market. When the first sale fell through the team worked hard to attract a second buyer and actually achieved a higher price for the property! and one can appreciate the hard work that went on behind the scenes to arrange the chain of buyers. All in all, an excellent service and I would heartily recommend Foundation to prospective seller – indeed have already done so! Clive

Fantastic experience: I couldn’t recommend Foundation highly enough. From the very beginning and through every step they were amazing. The whole team really provides a personal service and the communication is faultless. Thank you everyone.

Fantastic experience: We bought our house through Foundation. They were superb, particularly Martin and Jon. Their communication skills are excellent. I could not have asked for a better service from all of them. I would definitely recommend Foundation and if we move house again (hopefully this is our forever house) then I would use Foundation.

Fantastic experience: Foundation have been absolutely amazing in our house purchase. We are truly grateful for all the help we have received from them. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service from start to finish! Delighted with my new home. Foundation have provided a first-class service. Nothing was too much trouble, they were always on the end of the phone and went above and beyond to get my purchase over the line. All the staff there are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend and should I ever part with my home in the future, I would not hesitate to use Foundation. I’d also like to give a special mention to Jon, their awesome sales progressor, who remained in regular contact with me, provided plenty of reassurance and was highly effective and efficient at pushing along the rest of the chain to ensure a smooth and speedy sale - no mean feat in a 7 property chain! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with all aspects and all staff very pleasant.

Fantastic experience: We made the right choice in choosing Foundation to sell our house. You get some idea of the quality of service when you view houses marketed by other agents. The whole service, the floor plans, photography, video and aerial shots amazing. The on line brochure five star. Details 100% accurate. Showing prospective viewers the agent was polite knowledgeable and on time. In comparison some of the houses we viewed with other agents showed us how wise was our choice of Foundation.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently completed the purchase of The Gables and was very pleased with the service provided by Foundation Estate Agents throughout the process. The team were consistently professional, responsive, and proactive in keeping the transaction moving. Communication was clear, and any issues were handled quickly and confidently. Overall, a smooth experience and a level of support that made a real difference. I’m happy to recommend Foundation Estate Agents to others.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant experience with plenty of communication

Fantastic experience: I have used Foundation twice this year. Firstly with the sale of my mothers house and then my own. I have been so happy with their service and customer care. Dealing with people who have many years of experience in house sales makes selling a home a less traumatic experience. Jon always took my calls and was the linchpin holding all the communication together, not just on my sale but it seems in all of the seven or so in my chain! Thanks Jon and the Foundation team!

Fantastic experience: Foundation were informative and professional throughout the process of both my experiences as a vendor and purchaser keeping me up to date and explaining all aspects of the journey. Richard was particularly helpful going over and above the call of duty and keeping my best interests at heart at all times. I Would thoroughly recommend Foundation and five stars doesn’t seem high enough.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic estate agency, take time getting to know their clients and understand what they're really looking for. 5 Star service from a knowledgeable, professional and really helpful team.

Fantastic experience: We were recommended Foundation by my Mother after her amazing experience a few years back. We invited Foundation to value our property along with 2 other Estate Agents. When Kevin entered our house, we were made to feel so comfortable and assured that our property would be in good hands with Foundation, from this experience, we knew straight away that Foundation were the Estate Agents for us. After instructing Foundation, we were introduced to Terrie, who was very enthusiastic about our property, and the write up of our beautiful home was amazing, along with the professional photography, of which, a lot of time went into ensuring that all photos taken were perfect. Terrie left my partner and myself, feeling very excited about the next steps. We were then introduced to Martin, who really did an amazing job with the viewing of our property, he was on the phone whenever was needed to communicate viewer feedback, as well as the booking times and dates. Martin did an excellent job and our house was sold after only the second weekend of viewings! Once sold, we were introduced to Jon, who was the real MVP in the whole process. Jon was able to make the best of a very stressful few weeks at the end of our sale, and managed to get the entire chain prepared, where other Estate Agent progressors could not. Jon's motivation really kept us going through this, and I cannot thank him enough for the amazing work and dedication to our sale, of which I can guarantee we would not have been given had we chosen another Estate Agency. If if ever hear of any of my friends, family or associates are looking to sell, I will always give a good review for them as I can honestly say, they are the BEST IN KENT!!!! If and when we look to move again, we will only sell through Foundation. Thank you all so so much for making our experience a positive one. Max & Libby.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Josie, Robert and their team at Foundation Estate Agents! Prompt, professional and transparent service. Highly recommended!!

Fantastic experience: We bought our current house through Foundation Estate Agents and although the process took a lot longer than we’d anticipated, Jon was great at keeping us informed and was always positive and calm. I wouldn’t hesitate to deal with Foundation again.

Fantastic experience: From my initial meeting with Robert, right through to completion with Jon, the team at Foundation Estate Agents have been nothing short of excellent. The photography for the property brochure was beautifully styled, the updates before and after viewings was thorough and once we had an offer, the communication with the team was frequent and supportive. Our first sale fell through which was unfortunate but Foundation were quick to get the property back onto the market and we found a new buyer very quickly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Foundation to anyone looking for a smooth, trouble-free property sale!

Fantastic experience: Everyone I spoke to was very helpful, but Jon (sales progressor) has been absolutely brilliant. Thank you!

Fantastic experience: From start to finish, a very processional and impressive operation. Simply, a cut above the rest. Would highly recommend to anyone

Fantastic experience: Foundation provided an excellent service from start to finish. We both sold and bought through them and every member of staff we dealt with was extremely helpful throughout the process. The marketing was well executed, feedback was provided after each viewing and once we had sold, we were provided with an excellent level of service to see us through to exchange and completion.

Fantastic experience: Foundation were excellent at communicating from start to finish and helped the process feel seamless. When viewing our new home we were given the time and space we needed to take everything and they were able to answer all our questions or find the answer for us. Thank you for helping us find our new home!

Fantastic experience: We were recommended Foundation from a friend and we were so pleased we approached them. From the first contact to the last horaay when we completed, the staff were amazing. Professional with excellent communication. The marketing strategy was the best we had experienced (having been on market with a previous agent), I would not hesitate in recommending them and would definitely use them again. Thankyou so much Foundation.

Fantastic experience: Experienced and professional team from start to finish. Customer service is clearly at the heart of their practice. It’s not an easy process but Foundation take the pain away.

Fantastic experience: Our recent purchase from Foundation Estate Agents. Was indeed a difficult chain but every call we put into the office was very professionally delt with. A big Thank you to John who kept the things on track all the way to completion.

Fantastic experience: From our first telephone call to Foundation and all subsequent contacts with the whole team we have been very impressed with the level of service provided. The team have been extremely professional, supportive, empathetic and communication around the whole process has been excellent. They have made the stressful process of moving house feel extremely well managed and have supported us throughout the sale.

Fantastic experience: Excellent service, really nice people to deal with , who are all very experienced and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the team at Foundation, including Richard, Kevin and Evie who I have been in contact with. They have been extremely helpful and professional throughout the process.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic service from Foundation estate agents

Fantastic experience: Really happy, polite, informative and responsive 5*

Fantastic experience: Foundation supported us through the sale of our property. It was quite a difficult time for the market in general but we received good advice on pricing, marketing and negotiating our sale.

Fantastic experience: Great service. Truly helpful.

Fantastic experience: Very impressed with the knowledge they had in regards to the property they were marketing

Fantastic experience: Foundation changed our view on estate agents. When a house we loved came on the market with Foundation we called them up for advice on putting our house on the market. Promptly, our house was valued, photographed and beautifully marketed, ready to be put on the market. The house we wanted sold within days of being on the market, at this point we asked Foundation to hold off from putting ours live on the market. Having kept us in their thoughts, a few months later we had a call to say the house was back on the market, within 20 minutes of that call our house was live on Right Move. The process of both buying and selling with Foundation has been incredible. Special mentions to Kevin and Terrie who really went the extra mile to help us before our offer was accepted. Without them, we wouldn’t have got the house. Once our offer was accepted Kelvin was brilliant, no problem was too big for him, he would get it done - within minutes! I would recommend Foundation to anybody, they really have changed our view of Estate Agents. Thank you Foundation for taking the stress out of buying and selling.

Fantastic experience: I can not give enough praise for this excellent estate agent. They were very professional in every aspect of my sale. I would go as far to say that my house sale would not of gone through if it was not for there hard work. 10 out to 10 in all departments. Well done Kelvin.*****

Fantastic experience: Thank you for a great service selling our property! Experienced staff provide advice and support at each stage. Brilliantly organised team who focus on different stages of the sale process. This gives the customer a sole person to deal with at each stage who has all the information on your property , and who is your point of contact, which works so efficiently for sellers and buyers. All staff are great at contacting you and being available. Brilliant photography, walk through video and brochure compilation too, each contributing to a sale. Thank you to you ALL I spoke to each and everyone at some point and you all made the house selling process so much smoother and nicer!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the service provided by Foundation Estate Agents. From the get go, their attention to detail for the marketing and photography is second to none. They were also very competitively priced, which equates to a deal, given the service provided. I would highly recommend them to others and will certainly use them in the future. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Thank you to Patrick - you have been incredibly helpful and knowledgable. We have been very impressed with Foundation Estate Agency and would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I would like to thank Foundation Estate Agents for selling my beautiful cottage. Every one has been so helpful. It's been a very difficult year for house selling. Well done to everyone involved

Fantastic experience: A truly professional Estate agents who provided service from valuation to completion . Tirelessly working for you and excellent communication we fully recommend using them to sell your home. Thank you Patrick, Kelvin and Kevin.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional Estate agent. They managed our sale and purchase perfectly. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Very easy estate agents to deal with, always responded promptly to queries, particularly Kelvin, the whole process was very smooth and the best we've had for a very long time.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant company I couldn't have managed without the support of the staff. Pictures wonderful showing off the property to it's best, good contacts so the property was sold quickly.

Fantastic experience: Foundation Estate Agents did a brilliant job at selling my home. They were also great at keeping me in the loop of the progress of my sale. Thank you for your help.

Fantastic experience: This is the second time we have sold a property with Foundation, and have had an incredible experience throughout. I can’t thank Robert and the team enough for their work. Would highly highly recommend Foundation for anyone selling or purchasing a property - a first class service from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place to see.

Fantastic experience: We invited foundation round to value our home along with two other Agents, Kevin was far more knowledgeable and approachable than the others so decided to go with them. They sold our Property at full asking price and exactly as he had valued. Kelvin then took over for the Progression and he is worth his weight in gold. He constantly keeps you updated, sorts small issues before they become problems and even helpful when things aren’t even related to your sale! Everyone needs a Kelvin helping them! Every member of the team we spoke to were always friendly, helpful and lovely to deal with. We would highly recommend selling through Foundation.

Fantastic experience: When we found Sunnybank we knew it was our forever family home. Foundation were very accommodating and professional while viewing the house and everything was completed in a relaxed manner without any pushy sales. Once we sold and were able to put in an offer, the communication was excellent and you were never left waiting for an answer for long. It took a while, due to our first buyer pulling out late but luckily were able to secure another sale quickly. This time we have exchanged and couldn't be happier. Foundation are an excellent company and i would recommend them to anyone interested in selling a home. They are professional, yet there is a personal approach in dealing the any given situation and they seek to find solutions. I really couldn't have asked for more. Thanks All

Fantastic experience: Foundation are a different class to any estate agents we have used in the past. Highly professional, excellent communication through the house sale process, we will definitely be using them again in the future, should we move again.

Positive experience: Very helpful and informative, polite young man,

Fantastic experience: Professional throughout. Regular updates, never too busy to keep albeit a small yet tricky chain together. Their pricing on the market was spot on so we sold for full asking. The photos are stunning. Just excellence from every member of staff. I recommend without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: I'm an Architect so I deal with a lot of estate agents across the country on behalf of clients. The simple approach, making it all straight forwards and being responsive to unique niggly needs has made a complex scenario easy. Foundation are the best estate agents in the area by a country mile, I am glad we met and will be working with Foundation a lot more now I know them and how honest and direct they are.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and approachable team that support you and keep you up to date throughout the whole stressful time of moving home. Would thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic experience: "A life boat in the turbulent sea of real estate!!" Truly a pleasure to deal with... To my mind, no other agency can compete!!! Don't be fooled, we are not estate agency novices, we have sold and bought one or two properties before leading us to somehow come to expect arrogant and shoddy response from our agencies. I came to believe patronising was the first language of estate agents and held them on the social scale around the level of parking wardens.. Fortunately things can be different, If I was a religious man I'd compare Foundation to the ARK, a life boat in the turbulent sea of real estate!! Empathy, humorous, courteous and without falter always of a sunny disposition , the foundation team were excellent and professional throughout the process and worth every penny.... We cant thank you enough!!! THANK YOU!!

Fantastic experience: Professional, efficient and friendly

Fantastic experience: I want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Foundation. They all individually helped in the sale of my house. They were very accommodating in difficult times during covid and also throughout my pregnancy and when my daughter was born. I would recommend Foundation to all my friends and family. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: We would highly recommend Foundation they are an excellent professional company to deal with and made the process of selling our home as easy and efficient as possible, everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful and kept us updated fully throughout the whole process, which was really helpful and a great comfort especially to me as a first time seller, thank you all so very much Nicky & Terry

Fantastic experience: A very professional yet friendly business who dealt with our problems quickly and efficiently achieving our desired goal of selling our house with the minimum of stress to us. We believe we have had value for money and would certainly recommend to others.

Fantastic experience: We've used Foundation twice now over the past 11 years and would never use anyone else. The service is nothing short of outstanding and unlike many other estate agents the service provided always has that personal touch. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Very informative, polite and helpful throughout giving good communication between myself and the seller.

Fantastic experience: Such professional and friendly group of guys used Foundation on a number of occasions now and recieved outstanding service each time

Fantastic experience: Robert and his team at foundation have been fabulous throughout the sale process of our house. We have been kept well informed throughout, despite such difficult times due to COVID. They achieved the full asking price, I cannot fault anything.

Fantastic experience: Found this agent to be like a family...very friendly and caring and interested in our sale. We worked with them on and off for two years and they were always focused and committed to finding us the right deal.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy that I decided to go with Foundation, who guided me through a long, fraught process during this Covid winter with tact, diplomacy and endless patience. They are a first-class company, the polar opposite of the stock image of an estate agency. This is my first and probably only google review, but I had to comment on their first-class service and professionalism. I highly recommend Foundation to anyone selling their property.

Fantastic experience: I used Foundation to buy and sell our house. I cannot praise Kelvin and his team enough! They were excellent from start to finish. They always rang me when they said they would - sometimes several times a day and regularly checked in with me throughout the entire process. I plan to never move again, as I now agree it is one of the most stressful things you can do, but Foundation made it so much easier. I have and will be recommending them to everyone! (p.s. They did not pay me to write this review! lol)

Fantastic experience: I have 2 properties for sale with foundation and there service is excellent! Amazing brochure and virtual tours, we have had 8 viewings in a week!

Fantastic experience: We were recommended Foundation's services when we began the process of selling our house. This was to be our first experience and I can honestly say the whole process was seamless thanks to the organisation and experience of our estate agents. As a small business we worked with the majority of the team (especially as we ended up buying a property through Foundation too!) and each of them were knowledgable, friendly and helpful in moving the process along as quickly as possible. There is absolutely nothing we could fault Foundation for, and we would be delighted to recommend them to anybody in our area looking to sell a property and to use them again in the future.

Fantastic experience: Our property was sold in a matter of weeks and we were very pleased with what we received. Excellent guidance from the Foundation team

Fantastic experience: Remarkably efficient. Scheduled a viewing on the same day of enquiry. Completed the whole transaction in less than one month.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful and professional.... kept on top of the whole chain during sale. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience: We first encountered Foundation when looking at potential properties to buy and straight away noticed the level of professionalism and care that they put into their service. Our apartment had been on the market for almost a year, and we had taken an interest in several properties that Foundation had listed, when we decided to ask them to represent us in selling our property. All I can say is, wow! What a difference in selling experience! We wish we had asked sooner! From the professional photos they took, to the genuine care they had about our sell and the real level of professionalism they had (I say real because, in comparison, other estate agencies just don't compare!) we sold our property and fast! We have to say a huge shout out to Kelvin, who was just brilliant! Fantastic communication, care and patience throughout! Thank you, Foundation. We 100% recommend you!

Fantastic experience: Great and friendly staff and communication and customer support fantastic

Fantastic experience: Exemplary estate agent. Friendly, professional and local. We've used them twice now and from the original house visit through progression to final completion they've made it really easy, almost pleasurable! I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for an Estate Agent in Kent.

Fantastic experience: We bought a house via Foundation and found them to be very helpful; making sure they stayed in communication with all parties throughout to ensure the transaction went through smoothly. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Robert from Foundation is by far the best estate agent we have come across whilst we have sold/bought our new home. Would thoroughly recommend above any others. Excellent service and a well considered sales approach.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic professional service. Foundation is in an estate agent far above the rest. A complete pleasure to deal with in all areas . Cannot recommend them enough. Above a five star service.

Fantastic experience: I could not rate Foundation Property Services more highly. We sold our house with them January 2018 and it only took 2 months to sell. The quality of the brochure, photographs and attention to detail on all online and paper advertising was exceptional. The team were always available, very communicative and went above and beyond to see us through to completion. All at a very competitive price. Thank you Foundation!

Fantastic experience: We were recommended Foundation by some friends and our experience of selling with with them was excellent. Robert, Kelvin, Jason and the team were brilliant at every stage of the process. In selling our house they took the time to get to know both us and the property. They offered a great personal service, demonstrating integrity and honesty were a credit to their industry. I felt they were completely transparent, courteous and patient with both us and our buyer. I would not hesitate for a moment to buy a property through them having been on the selling side of the transaction (we certainly wish they’d been the agent for the property we purchased). When a sale was agreed we were kept up to date regularly until the sale completed. Couldn’t ask for more! In complete contrast to some other local agents the team at Foundation are mature, knowledgable and personable.

Fantastic experience: We have recently sold our property with Foundation Property Services. The service we received has been brilliant from start to finish, all staff took the time to see the house, to work with us and to keep us updated throughout the process of selling. Also offered good advice on buying a new property. They work quickly and we were lucky to have a quick sale. Would definately recommend Foundation to anyone looking to sell.

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Foundation. The whole team are so helpful. I had a complicated sale and Kelvin was on hand to get me through it. He would phone me on a daily basis, keeping me informed and giving sympathy when I was in tears. Would not use anyone else.
