Negative experience: Had a scheduled viewing for a rental property, no one turned up. I sent series of emails and received no replies, called their and was informed the property was no longer available. What happened to sending an email reply to say the property was no longer available prior to the scheduled viewing?

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience with GR Estates. First, there is no way to actually speak to them on the phone — when I called, a voice message specifically stated that you cannot call them directly and I had to leave a message instead. For an estate agency, that is ridiculous. I was visiting Ormskirk from another part of the UK and only in the area for a few hours. While driving in the area, I spotted a property I was interested in, so I made the effort to drive to their branch in person. I was met by a saleswoman from their team, who was cold and frankly snooty. Every question I asked was met with a long-winded "no" and zero useful information. I am a seasoned property investor, part of the largest property network in the UK and Europe, and I regularly buy houses. Through their unhelpfulness and her dismissive attitude, they have lost not just my business but business from my wider network. I will not be using GR Estates again, and based on my experience I couldn't recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: We cannot recommend GR Estates enough - from the initial valuation with Vikki, Leanne and Lucy in Sales Negotiation and Megan in Sale Progression, every member of the team has been committed to achieving the best possible outcome for us and are worth their weight in gold. Their communication throughout the process has been excellent and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Our experience with them has been smooth sailing, regardless of the ups and downs of selling a house. They have not lost the personal touch of estate agents and are so knowledgeable in the market that we have always felt in safe hands. Whilst they’ve not been resolved as quickly as we’d hoped, we would like to mention what an absolute credit Donna is to the team. Donna’s communication is second to none, she has chased the issues for us, and been nothing but kind and apologetic during. Fantastic experience: Excellent professional service: The house we wanted to purchase was for sale with GR Estates and it made sense for us to sell our current property with them as well. Having never used them before I was interested to see how things would progress and I’m pleased to say we were very happy with the service with received for both the sale and purchase of both properties. They marketed both houses well, their descriptions of each home was engaging and informative to buyers and the photos they took showed the properties in their best light. This attracted proceed-able buyers and both properties sold within 24 hours of being on the market. We were also kept up to date every step of the way, they liaised with us, our buyers/seller, financial adviser and solicitor and ensured that everything progressed as it should in a timely manner. We would highly recommend GR Estates and will definitely use them again.

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend G.R. Estates enough, we asked them to value our home and take images which was all done on the same day, their communication is amazing and nothing is too much trouble! We sold our house (STC) in 5 days, Vikki managed to get a video of our home uploaded online the same day which attracted viewings and then the house listing was up the following day. Again, would not recommend them enough and had a great experience so far

Negative experience: If I could leave no stars I would. The valuer who attended my Dads property was lovely but the service offered was not the service we received. Totally unprofessional, always had to chase for feedback to be told there was none, the ladies in the office are miserable and rude to a point you felt uncomfortable asking for help/advise. The fee offered sounded great but the rubbish service certainly reflected the in the cheaper fee! They couldn't care less about customer service, all they care about it making money. I personally sold with another agent previously but tried a independent agent to help support local, never again, stick to what you know!

Went above & beyond with help/advice etc. Must say, issues at 1st with lack of correspondence & not being given full brief ie. if Buyer pulls out you still have costs. Maybe this is for the Solicitor to explain? but between the two i think more advice should be given - especially for someone like myself, a 1st time Seller. Someone says they want to buy, change their mind or can't go forward = Solicitors costs for the Seller, house taken off Market during that time, loss of potential Buyers! Feels bit mean putting ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars when other aspects of Service great, but hopefully this is constructive feedback & can be actioned going forward. Kind Regards.
